What do you like best about Viedoc?

Unlike comprehensive platforms like Medidata and Veeva, it is good that it specializes in EDC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Viedoc?

It is concerning that it often takes a long time to fix issues. Additionally, it is inconvenient not knowing whether suggestions for improvements have actually been adopted. In the case of Medidata products, Known Issues are published along with their status in the release notes of new versions, allowing users to at least understand which issues are being addressed. Having this system in place also increases the motivation to make improvement suggestions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Viedoc solving and how is that benefiting you?

I think it's good that EDC can be used relatively inexpensively. However, in terms of pricing, cube CDMS is becoming a threat. In the case of academic customers, there are circumstances where research funds are insufficient and they cannot allocate budget for EDC licenses, so I hope the current package for academia will continue. What do you like best about Viedoc?

The platform is extremely user-friendly and easy for beginners to learn, whether you are a designer or a data manager.

The metrics dashboard is particularly useful from a data manager's perspective, as it makes accessing key metrics straightforward. Additionally, the ability to create custom reports is another excellent feature that adds significant value.

What do you dislike about Viedoc?

The platform could be improved by adding a logline feature, similar to what other EDCs offer, as this is very helpful for designers, data managers, and site staff. Such a feature would also assist in designing the eCRF, especially for studies with complex requirements. Additionally, including more default reports would reduce the need for customized reports and save time. Currently, there is no clear indication when data has been updated unless we check the audit trails, which can be inconvenient. It would also benefit sponsors if more modules, such as tSDV and custom functions, could be incorporated. If we able to customise each roles and their restrictions that would be great.
