**What do you like best about Trengo?**

What I like about Trengo is that all messages come together in one inbox, keeping everything organized. Everything is immediately labeled, and you can easily see who has taken on which task.

**What do you dislike about Trengo?**

If you are not used to working with AI, it can sometimes be difficult and cause confusion. It takes a while before you understand it and everything makes sense. It is actually still a learning process.

**What problems is Trengo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, I had to open and maintain seven different mailboxes daily. Additionally, I kept track of WhatsApp on a separate tab, which sometimes led to me forgetting messages. Moreover, it was not always clear who was working on what and what had already been addressed. Now everything is brought together on one platform, where everything is clearly labeled and organized.

**What do you like best about Trengo?**

Since April, we’ve been working with Trengo on a pilot project to integrate a live chat feature into our website, and the experience has been very positive. The collaboration has been smooth and efficient from the start.

Our project lead, Charlotte, has been outstanding. She’s highly knowledgeable about Trengo, always available to answer our questions, and provides tailored advice that fits our business needs. Her proactive and solution-oriented approach has made a big difference. We truly appreciate her involvement and support throughout the pilot.

**What do you dislike about Trengo?**

So far, we haven’t encountered any major issues. However, as we continue exploring Trengo’s features, we’re curious to see more advanced functionalities and how they could further benefit our business. A bit more insight into long-term integration possibilities and scalability would be helpful as we consider next steps beyond the pilot phase.

**What problems is Trengo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trengo is helping us improve customer engagement and streamline communication on our website.
Before the pilot, we didn’t have a direct and instant way to interact with website visitors via chat for example. With Trengo’s live chat, we can now respond quickly to inquiries, offer real-time support, and create a more personal experience for our customers.

In addition to the live chat, the customer journeys within Trengo have proven to be very effective. They help guide our website visitors to the right pages and ensure they find the relevant information faster and more easily. This has significantly improved the user experience and reduced friction in the customer journey.

Overall, Trengo is helping us become more accessible, responsive, and customer-focused — a big step forward in our digital communication strategy.

What I like most about using Trengo is that all customer communication comes together in one clear overview, allowing me to respond faster and never miss a message.

What I liked less is that, for example with email, you can’t configure everything yourself and remain dependent on how Trengo displays it.

How easy the platform is to use and get around. The Trengo team, who is always available and helpful. I would like to give a big thank you to Charlotte for helping our team to implement Trengo and for being very professional and available always.

It facilitates the processes for our reception staff: time-consuming work is taken off their hands and many questions are already intercepted by the chatbot.

Setting it up indeed takes some time, but that's mainly because I haven't completely mastered the system yet.

Charlotte is always very helpful and contributes well to the implementation of workflows. She came up with examples and brainstormed with us about possible solutions and options.

Since we have several language teams dealing with different providers from various regions in the world, Trengo helps us organize those messages coming in from our partners and redirects them to the appropriate team.

**What do you like best about Trengo?**

Trengo provides a technical bridge between the customer and our sales advisors. Previously, a customer could not directly reach a sales advisor, but thanks to Trengo, this is now possible. This effectively narrows the gap between customers and our sales team.

The AI routing is also excellent, as it allows you to assign everyone to specific teams. This ensures that most chats are directed to the right team straight away, eliminating any confusion!

Finally, I think the customer support is absolutely excellent. I have been assigned a contact person from Trengo, her name is Charlotte, and she’s fantastic! I can easily reach her throughout the week, and we have a weekly meeting to discuss any points we might want to adjust and to ask for feedback. The onboarding process is extremely well organized, so you don’t have to worry about a thing!

**What do you dislike about Trengo?**

We've only been live for three weeks, so at the moment we don't have any areas for improvement or issues to report!

**What problems is Trengo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trengo provides the solution and the bridge between our customers, who are increasingly orienting themselves digitally, and our sales advisors. It offers the possibility to get in direct contact with sales advisors and to ask detailed questions, which can then be answered by a product specialist.

The entire onboarding experience was exceptional. The Trengo team provided outstanding support from the very beginning through to our go-live. A special mention goes to Charlotte, who was absolutely fantastic throughout, always available to answer questions and offer guidance. She ensured I had a thorough understanding of the system and personally walked me through all the key features. Her support was truly appreciated!

Setting up the platform was more challenging given the scale of our business and the number of brands we operate under. Creating distinct, customer-facing profiles to support each brand proved complex and would require careful consideration to ensure consistency and clarity across the board.

Trengo enabled us to explore WhatsApp as a customer communication channel for the first time, something we hadn’t previously considered. This experience provided valuable insights into both the advantages and limitations of using WhatsApp for business interactions

**What do you like best about Trengo?**

It is nice to receive all communication in one place. This way, everyone can see what is happening, we don't miss any important information, and we can help the visitors quickly. Additionally, I found the onboarding with Charlotte to be very pleasant. The meetings were efficient and regular, which made the implementation of Trengo proceed quickly. Finally, I want to add that the communication with Charlotte was always very smooth, clear, and honest. I am sorry that we have to say goodbye, but I have every confidence that her successor will help me just as well.

**What do you dislike about Trengo?**

What we are still missing is a connection between Trengo and our reservation system Roller, and with Aircall. This connection would make our work even easier and faster, because then we could immediately find and possibly modify bookings in the reservation system.

All information comes in at one place, ensuring we don't miss any communication. Additionally, this way all employees have insight into previous communications and can easily take over tasks from others when necessary.

The interface is very easy to navigate, even for team members with limited technical experience. Centralizing communication channels like chat and WhatsApp in one inbox has helped us respond to our customers faster and more efficiently.
Also, the onboarding process was great! We've had regular and efficient sessions that made implementation easier.

We are unable to track chat interactions effectively within Google Analytics, which limits our ability to measure engagement and optimize customer service strategies.

Trengo makes team communication a breeze! It’s super easy to use, keeps everything in one place, and makes working together smooth. The AI features, like chatbots and smart routing, save tons of time and help with quick responses. If you want a stress-free way to manage messages, Trengo’s a game-changer! Big thanks to Charlotte for helping us with the onboarding and support, as well as Sander for the initial sales call!

The email inbox sync with google is still not great, needs fixing. Would be good to see the sent items folder. Also, replying to a thread of emails can be confusing especially when you need to reply to only one person, and not all.

Helping us with multi-channel comms for our organisation. It's helping our team of student recuitment officers to efficiently and effectively pick up conversations with our prospertive applicants. The AI function also means that customers can get information more readily during our out of office hours.

WhatsApp had frozen our account because they suspected we were spamming, which we were not. Thanks to Trengo, we were able to continue. Charlotte provided us with fantastic support, and we were back up and running quickly. Charlotte continues to help us get the most out of Trengo and to make our work easier and faster.

Dislike is a strong word, but what takes some time is that you need to learn how to use the AI Journeys and get them to collect all the information you want.

Great onboarding experience from Charlotte, she really helped with any small detail and there are a lot of features to be explored in there, which are all explained very well. The chat feature is great as well, as this is being used more than with the previous system now. 
Overall this is a great and easy to use platform, with the most common integrations included, the support is quick to reply and very eager to help!

Only sometimes it is a little slower, but that might be connection related, other than that, no complaints.

Trengo is making it easier to work, as less clicking is required. It is a simple but still very in-depth program, with great AI-features that make life easier.

The fact that helpmates can assist with FAQs and allow representatives to have more time with focusing on more trivial queries. I also like the fact that I can keep a track of reports and agent performance, especially for new staff. Labeling and closing conversations based on category and results is a great bonus.

Some of the features do take more research in order to get a better understanding of how to use. Would also like quicker support team after first contact (this was already discussed in my previous meeting)

It's so easy to use, even our less pc experienced colleague's are able to use it very easily and we got great help from Charlotte! A lot of cool features also related to AI, was an easy switch from our old platform.

Some things are still in a startup position which sometimes can be annoying but is also fairly normal and I am glad they are trying new things.

Love every touch point I have had with the team. Both Katharina and Tom have been so consistently helpful and quick to response. I have never felt like I could be asking too many questions. The tool itself has made my job so much easier. It's been exactly what we need.

There is a bug where messages and responses from the same session pop up in different chats. Would also like to be able to create a whatsapp template at the point of message not just in settings.

The web application is sometimes slow, causing you to wait for certain actions.

Create an overview in the work and ensure that we have less work from each conversation. Emails return to the employee who initially responded. This ensures that the email does not have to be manually assigned to the correct employee each time.

**What do you like best about Trengo?**

Trengo assists us in supporting customer service; additionally, it is a program with multiple functions because we can manage all communication through one platform. The contact I have with Nickey is excellent. I send an email and get a quick response. She resolves issues by either calling me or assisting me through an online meeting.

**What do you dislike about Trengo?**

Even though I figured out many things on my own while setting up our flowbot, there are definitely specific aspects where you need help. Additionally, there aren't instruction videos for everything, which I find a bit disappointing!

**What problems is Trengo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

"We often receive phone calls with the same questions. Trengo has provided information on our website, such as the standard questions we used to get over the phone. This helps reduce the number of calls, allowing colleagues to stay focused and continue with their work without being easily distracted."

For our administration staff, Trengo is a great tool to combine the different old email channels after the rebranding. The onboarding procedure was gooed and Charlotte was always willing to help us with any question or issue.

**What do you dislike about Trengo?**

Some simple things as sorting the rules in order or sorting in order the handle the emails should be standard. Also in the new workflow some basic things could be work out better in visible matter.

After the rebranding of different projects and businesses we were looking for a tool to centralize all the email communication and for the future to add a help function on the website.

**What do you like best about Trengo?**

Customer service is one of those things that is a complete pain if you haven't set it up properly. With Trengo, especially if you take a bit of time to set up their AI, you take away 90% of your workload in this area while simultaneously delighting your customers with fast & effective service.

**What do you dislike about Trengo?**

May require a bit of knowledge about language models to get the most out of. Or you could just get help of their 10/10 customer success manager, Nicky, of course.

Too much time spent on customer service and too long response times.

**What do you like best about Trengo?**

Sadly nothing anymore. They are completely disrespectful and patronizing.

**What do you dislike about Trengo?**

Completely untrustworthy company to do business with. They keep raising their fees without ANY improvements. They say they have AI but you need to upload PDF documents lol. 

After their latests insane price hike (not only for new clients but for EXISTING ones as well) they are pricing themselves completely out of the market. 

If you need customer support from a customer support platform provider you can wait for days on them as well. The quickest turnaround time we got over the years is 3 days and 80% of the times not helpful at all.   

Was good for starters but they last track of their value proposition and it is nothing more than a overpriced, low feature customer support app. Pitiful.

Nothing really. We are only using them because of some custom integrations we build. If not for that we would have been long gone.

the general page with the emails is very clear, easy to see who it comes from and to whom it may have been assigned.

**What do you dislike about Trengo?**

When you have a private email attached to it. you can't set up a rule that the mail will be closed automatically. IT is looking into it, hopefully they can solve that.

**What do you like best about Trengo?**

We started using Trengo about 3 years ago. It stood out against the likes of Intercom and HubSpot in terms of pricing. It addresses the channels that we use most. It allows us to coordinate across remote teams, though the inbox feature did not scale as well as we hoped. It was easy to implement and needs little training to use.

**What do you dislike about Trengo?**

We recently looked into AI powered customer support solutions. Unfortunately, it was not the right solution for us.

Centralized communictaion acroos multiple social media platforms.  The ability to speak with my staff within a conversation withou the client seeing it,  it is a game changer when it comes to training employees especially in a customer service business.

It is really diffucult to setup, use and get used to.  I hate that you cannot start a whatsapp conversation without a template and the fact that after 24 hours the conversation needs to be restarted.  You cannot see emojiis, or reply to messages.  There area  a lot of features that are lacking that are available in almost all communication platforms that Trengo integrates with.

The driving force of why I chose to use Trengo was to centralize communication accross the multiple communication platform that my business uses.  It allows our response times to be more predictable and consistant.

**What do you like best about Trengo?**

Because our foundation is growing rapidly, more and more communication channels are emerging. Since we have to organize everything with a relatively small team that consists entirely of volunteers, it is crucial for us to set this up efficiently. We are dealing with a very vulnerable group where clear and timely communication is indispensable. Before the implementation of Trengo, different volunteers worked in different systems. But if a volunteer dropped out, it was often very unclear to determine the status of contacts. With the help of Trengo, we now have this mapped out very clearly.

In addition, as a foundation, we also have to account to our supporters and grant providers. Through Trengo, we can very effectively map out how many contact moments there are per channel.

Charlotte Beenen helped us perfectly with the onboarding. She gave us very useful tips and kept pointing out new features that we hadn't discovered ourselves. Therefore, the onboarding went very smoothly and easily. We still haven't been able to discover everything, but we are extremely happy with the support from Trengo and the discount they offer to non-profit organizations.

We have actually not been able to discover any disadvantages yet.

We can handle communication across all channels—emails, WhatsApp, social media using this robust all-in-one platform from a single, shared inbox. This has significantly increased the productivity of our team and our capacity to reply to client requests promptly. However, I was really delighted with the onboarding procedure. Trengo is a complete bundle that has all you need to get going without a hitch. Charlotte, our onboarding specialist, was the star of the show. Her commitment and knowledge were priceless. She took her time walking us through each stage of the setup procedure and making sure we were aware of all the features and functions. Charlotte was always willing to help us with any questions or issues we had.

Trengo stands out for having an excellent onboarding process and a user-friendly platform. Nevertheless, WhatsApp is hindered by the lack of emphasis on ongoing development, particularly with regard to features. It is a very easy to use platform that allows for the integration of our communication methods (e-mail, telephone and WhatsApp) with our ERP system. The open API and usefull documentation helped our developers to connect both systems. 
Nicky was our customer support manager and she was very helpful! She knows Trengo and its capabilities very well. And gave me some very useful tips to use the platform. She's also very friendly and it was fun to have meetings with her. 
We are using Trengo now for a month, and the first signs are very helpful. I especially like the feature of creating flowbots. Very easy to make and use.

The only way to contact Trengo is via e-mail and arrange an online meeting. This works for regular questions. Sometimes it is easier to have a phone number you can call.

**What do you like best about Trengo?**

Alright, so picking the best thing about Trengo is kinda tough because, honestly, they've got a lot of room for improvement. But if we really gotta highlight something, it's their gutsy move to create their own 'Team Chat' to go head-to-head with Slack. They've got this big dream of making something awesome, which is pretty cool, even if they've spread themselves too thin and ended up with a bunch of features that aren't quite there yet.

The bummer is that they're not really nailing it at the moment. Users are dealing with some not-so-great features and the service isn't exactly top-notch. It's like they've got their eyes on the prize, wanting to be trailblazers and all, but they've gotta seriously step up their game to make their tools solid, dependable, and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Trengo?**

So, Trengo's got a laundry list of issues. First up, their customer support is kind of a letdown. They're slow to get back to you and when they do, their answers are too basic to really solve anything complicated.

Then there's their 'Team Chat' feature. They're trying to do a lot, but it's all over the place, leaving us with a bunch of half-done stuff. It's like they're shooting for the stars but haven't even made it off the ground.

Their third-party integrations, especially with WhatsApp, just don't cut it compared to others like MessageBird and Wati, who have their act together and deliver the goods without a hitch.

The voice calls? Don't get me started. Whether they're using their own setup or Twilio's, the quality is a mess. You can barely hear the person on the other end, and having to call again and again is super annoying.

API access is another sore spot. It's super basic, so if you're a bit of a tech whiz looking to do some cool custom stuff, you're out of luck.

And the icing on the cake? Their billing practices are a headache. They charge you for seats you're not even using, and then they switch up the pricing on you without warning, messing up your budget.

Long story short, Trengo wants to be this all-in-one communication platform, but it's falling short in so many ways that it's leaving a lot of users pretty frustrated.

Trengo is supposed to be this cool tool that lets you handle all your chats and messages from different places in one spot, which sounds like it would make life easier, right?

But here's the thing: it's kind of a mixed bag. They've got this 'Team Chat' feature that's supposed to be a big help, but it's actually more of a headache because it's not fully baked yet. So instead of saving time, you end up spending more of it trying to work around the platform's issues.

Now, about making calls through Trengo, whether it's with their own stuff or through Twilio, the quality is pretty hit or miss, which means a lot of do-overs on calls that should've been one and done.

Then there's the whole money thing. Their pricing is based on how many seats you have, not how many you actually use, and they can change the costs on you out of nowhere. So, keeping your budget in check gets tricky.

The API they offer is another letdown. It's supposed to let you customize things and make Trengo work better for you, but it's pretty limited, so there's not much you can do with it.

Basically, Trengo wants to be the Swiss Army knife for all your communication needs, but right now, it's more like a tool that's missing a few pieces. Instead of making things simpler, it's piling on more problems, which is the exact opposite of what you'd want from something that's supposed to take the weight off your shoulders.

That you can assisgn email to the right people. The start had little addoption issues because we needed to learn new things. The customor support didn't give me a satisfied feeling. I asked my question in Dutch language and they responded to me in English, with a 1 day delay (If you need help, you need it now and nog in 1-3 business days). I have spent too little time exploring all Trengo's feaatures or the integrations. We us it all day for handling our email (for now only email). I also like their onboarding phase, where they help you for a period of three months during Google Meet calls

**What do you dislike about Trengo?**

It isnt polished enough at some points. You cant change the width of your inbox (on a 24inch screen, the email field will be very wide and the important inbox will be the same narrow width. Also the name from the sender wil be the name corresponding the email adres. For email from other Trengo users they should use the value from the Trengo account. Now you have to open the email from support@x.nl just to see in the footer the email is sent by Jaap. Opening seems to be not necessary. An extra step. I also don't understand ther Helpcentre choices: namely the width of things. You can't see the whole title of the article, it gets cut off because they want nice even columns. Function is far more important than appearance, specially in the helpcentre. I need the whole article title (question) for my customers to see. Make the help centre full witdh instead of a fixed container width. Let the user decide the witdh by adjusting their browser window. I will discuss the rest of my items with my onboarding specialist

Trengo offers an easy to set up chatbot with countless features. As someone who has little experience with software such as Trengo, it has been extremely easy to set up our own detailed chatbot. The data gathered is very detailed and can be used to improve performance. Every person that we've been in contact with from Trengo has offer excellent customer service and really puts the customer's needs first. Luc has been of great assistance, giving us a great basic overview before buying the product. Our on-boarding manager, Nicky, has also been of great help. She took us through every relevant detail, step-by-step, and showed us how to implement quality-of-life changes for the user team. For such a large company, the support has felt amazingly personal and adjusted to our individual needs.

We still have to encounter something that we dislike.

Easy system to work with, offering many functionalities to make use of. My team quickly got the hang of it. The customer service is super helpful and fast. Additionally, the onboarding goes super well thanks to our Onboarding Manager Nicky van Leeuwen.

There are some small things like not being able to send long messages and that public messages come in one place. This is less convenient for us but not a big problem.

Through Trengo, we receive all the messages we get via Social Media in one place. This allows us to answer questions from one system without having to go to the individual Social Media channels. This makes it very efficient for us and saves time. Additionally, it is a convenient system for storing the data of the questioner.
