## Pave Reviews
  ### 1. Streamlined Compensation Planning with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Pave?**

I use Pave for handling compensation and benefits in my organization, reflecting stock options, CTC, and other bonuses. I like how it brings clarity and structure to compensation planning. A specific feature I appreciate is the compensation cycle workflow, which centralizes and standardizes the entire compensation process, replacing spreadsheets and manual intervention. Connecting everything like roles, levels, and compensation plans is pretty intuitive, making it straightforward, though it requires some preparation.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Some advanced configurations and reports have a learning curve, like setting up compensation bands, leveling frameworks, and budget rules for different teams. These can take some time to learn. Improvements could be adding tooltips or guided setup flows. Also, we use Thrive and Workday, but I assume they are not in sync.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave makes compensation decisions data-driven and increases internal visibility, improving pay fairness and communication between HR and leadership. It adds clarity and structure to compensation planning, centralizes and standardizes the process, and replaces spreadsheets and manual interventions.

  ### 2. Pave Makes Compensation Planning and Budgeting Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carla O. | Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Pave has helped us better figure out compensation, raises, and our budget, making the whole process easier.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

I haven’t had any issues using Pave for merit increases. That said, I do find the process for sending reward letters a bit confusing and not as straightforward as I’d expect.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave is helping solve the challenge of managing total rewards and compensation increases, which in turn is contributing to higher employee satisfaction.

  ### 3. Exceptional User Experience and Intuitive Design

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zak S. | HR Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Pave has an excellent user experience. The interface is modern, fast, and intuitive, which makes it easy to navigate and use day-to-day. The platform feels clean and well-designed, and it’s simple to review compensation data and equity information without needing any training. Great support and customer service.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

The platform is strong overall, but the depth of available market data varies by region and role. For a global organization, the coverage does not always go far enough, which sometimes requires us to use outside benchmarks.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave gives us a centralized and easy to use platform to review compensation and equity information. It helps us benchmark roles more efficiently and provides a clear view of pay ranges, which supports internal consistency and faster decision-making. Having everything in one place reduces manual work and makes our compensation review process much smoother.

  ### 4. Streamlines Compensation Insights with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaitanya V. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Pave?**

I really appreciate Pave for its user-friendly interface and how it makes complex tasks more affordable for HRs. It's perfect for managing compensation and efficiently communicating employees' pay and total rewards. The thing that really works well is Pave uses machine learning and good modeling to refine job matches and provide good market insights, not just presenting static data. I also find it pretty easy to set up with clear instructions provided in the documentation.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

One of the drawbacks is that Pave's benchmark data isn't always as comprehensive as I'd like. It could be a bit more accurate. They often lack showing current benchmarks in areas like growth marketing and devops, and it would be helpful to add more clearly defined separate IC versus leadership roles.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Pave to manage compensation efficiently, accessing real-time salary data from many companies instead of relying on surveys. Its user-friendly interface makes complex HR tasks more affordable, and it offers refined job matches and market insights through machine learning.

  ### 5. User-Friendly with Accurate Data, but Needs a Larger Database

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Pave?**

I like that Pave has an easy-to-use interface and up-to-date data. It makes it simple to filter results by location and by company size or type, and the initial setup was very straightforward as well. It’s especially useful for identifying ranges across multiple countries. We have an employee base split across Canada and the US, and Pave makes it easy to delineate ranges based on country and location.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Pave’s database isn’t as robust as other tools like Radford. They need to grow their customer base so they can offer larger sample sizes. They do not have the same level of granularity as Radford or Culpepper databases. Which is especially important to smaller companies in unique market segments.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Pave for external compensation benchmarking to understand how our internal compensation bands align with the market. It isn’t the primary tool I rely on day to day, but I often turn to Pave as a “sanity check” when we notice discrepancies between the other tools we mainly use (Culpepper and Radford).

  ### 6. Effortless Compensation Management with Insightful Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Navneet K. | SDE 1, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Pave?**

I really like the comparison feature in Pave. It shows the minimum, maximum, and average salary of employees at my position and location, which helps me see if I'm underpaid, overpaid, or fairly paid. That's the best feature for me.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

I don't think it could be improved, but there is one thing I would say. Pave actually calculates everything on the basis of last funding round valuation. But it should also give a user the ability to write value as per what they think the company's actual valuation is. There should be an option where a user can manually change the valuation per stock of a company, and accordingly, their CTC gets adjusted. This way, they can see what the total compensation is based on the right valuation, right stock value. Everything else is, I think, good.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave simplifies managing my compensation by showing my total package, vesting cycle, stocks, and stock valuations. It helps me know if I'm underpaid or overpaid by comparing my salary to others in similar positions.

  ### 7. Helpful Compensation Insights Over Time with a Clean, Easy-to-Use UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam E. | Solutions Integration Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Pave?**

It is a good breakdown of compensation information and very helpful for viewing that data over time. It provides a nice UI to work with and find insights.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

It is not always the most accurate with additional benefit information which may be up to the employer, but I think integrations linking things back to work documents would be a great help here.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to view my compensation information and breakdown easily as well as track tat information over time so I can see how everythign has been going.

  ### 8. Good platform for structured compensation management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshul S. | Sr tech support, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Best thing is that pave makes the compensation data very much easy to understand and also compare without going through all the spreadsheets and salary nenchmark are also clear and does help with setting the conistency in pay range , it does save alot of time and during the plannig becuase all of it is organized at one place

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Some adjustments are needed and it has good interface but sometimes you have to do more then need to for reaching details you want , needs to have more flexibility in report customization

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more guess work from the compensation decisions by giving the reliable market data and it keeps the pay planning very structured and also reduces the errors and make the review more important as they are transparent

  ### 9. Excellent Interface, Accurate Data—Looking Forward to More Country Coverage

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kerri M. | HR, Logistics and Supply Chain, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Excellent interface and extremely easy to use. Data is constantly updated and we have full confidence in the accuracy of the data we are given.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Not much to dislike. I think continuing to add more countries. There are still some countries we operate in that they do not have data for.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They get us reliable global salary data that we are confident in when making salary decisions

  ### 10. PAVE PRINCIPALS

  ### 11. Quickly becoming a must-have tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela R. | Director, Total Rewards, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Pave?**

I have implemented Pave's Total Rewards portal and Team view at two companies, and in the past year have started leveraging the market data (including equity benchmarking) and bands tool more and have found them so useful. I also think the compensation planning tool might now have the features I need such that it's time for another team so I can consider implementing that as well - I think our leaders would really appreciate Pave's UI for that.

The implementation and integration process was very organized and painless, with wonderful technical support along the way (first time was Natan, second was Garrett and they are both amazing~). And they keep making it easier and easier for me to make platform changes on our own. The security capabiltiies in particular have been wonderful - I am unable to share pay ranges with leaders in workday how I desire, but Pave makes it easy to set up the security I need. I, myself, use Pave multiple times a week - anytime I want to look up a range or an employee's full total rewards package, vs. Workday, as Pave is so much more user friendly.

I also use Pave for benchmarking any new roles - it's not my sole data source, but a key one. And now that there is offer data from Greenhouse and equity practice benchmarking, it's even more valuable. I see Pave as the future primary market data source of most compensation professionals.

My favorite thing about Pave is the responsiveness to feedback. They prioritize listening to subject matter experts and making changes to their platform to be more valuable to the users. They iterate quickly and thoughtfully, and are constantly improving their capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

There are some features like custom peer grous that I'd like to see, and improved customization on viewing pay bands, but generally I've been very pleased, especially as they continue to improve upon their product regularly

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For a very long time we have been dealing with stale market data - Pave is solving that problem. And the more companies that start adopting Pave, the more useful their data becomes.

Also, with the total rewards portal and visual offer letter, we are able to pull data from disparate sources so people can see the full value (and potential value) of their rewards pacakge, and the company's investment in them.

  ### 12. Perfect tool for all things Comp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve C. | Manager, Compensation, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Pave is an excellent compensation survey tool that simplifies the process of benchmarking salaries, equity, and benefits. Its user-friendly interface and real-time data provide administrators and managers with valuable insights to make informed and competitive compensation decisions. The tool’s advanced visualizations make it easy to present market trends and recommendations to key stakeholders. By using Pave, we ensure our compensation strategies are both fair and aligned with industry standards. Additionally, its Total Rewards tool is a great way to engage both candidates and current employees to realize growth opportunities.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

There are not many downsides to Pave as they are continually listening to feedback and making updates that are enhancing the product for both users and administators. Their team is open to having in depth conversations on hopw to make the product better.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Visualize offers with candidates and current compensation with employees
- Simplify compensation planning with stakeholders
- One-stop shop for all compensation details

  ### 13. Great tool for understanding total compensation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Pave?**

- Ability to understand total compensation
- Ability to adjust stock price at a pre-IPO company to understand how compensation changes given stock valuation changes
- Clean, intuitive UI

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Stocks are broken down by grants, would be nice to have a view to breakdown stocks overall not just on a grant by grant basis

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to see total compensation and understand how it has changed over time

  ### 14. Compensation Management DONE RIGHT!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor J. | Recruiting Manager, Hospital & Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Visual management is on point and makes managing comp during merit and otherwise a breeze. Very customizable too, so you can build it how you want it, which is really nice.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Nothing I dislike, but rather wish. They have Mexico salary information but it's based off of compensation in the MX City market, which is more expensive and not relative to the Yucatan. Hoping one day they'll have regional salary/market data in MX specifically.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us manage our MANY pay bands at all levels, with the ability to modify and adjust based on market data. Very nimble comp system, and they're committed to improving their data and tech as updates and enhancements are the norm.

  ### 15. Pave is the way to go.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Pave elevates compensation benchmarking & merit cycles out of spreadsheets in user friendly ways that allow people teams to capture notes & approvals. It also provides a visually pleasing way to deliver offer letters and display total compensation to your team. Their team is super responsive and always open to feedback. They've improved the product by leaps and bounds in the last few years.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Pave covers a lot of ground, but you have to pay for it. It certainly isn't the cheapest tool on the market, but we've found the return on investment worth it.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave makes compensation cycles easier for people teams, managers, and execs to efficiently review, interact, and approve adjustments based on live data.
It also helps visualize total compensation including equity and benefits to give employees a full financial picture.

  ### 16. Essential Comp Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Pave has transformed how we approach compensation at our organization. The platform is dynamic, constantly evolving with new features that reflect a deep understanding of what we, as People leaders, need to be effective. Implementation was seamless, and integration with our existing systems has been smooth, allowing us to get up and running quickly with minimal disruption. The customer success team is phenomenal—they feel like an extension of our own team, always responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive.

Pave has become a go-to resource for our managers, frequently used outside of regular comp cycles to guide strategic decisions around compensation and team planning. Our leaders are more empowered than ever, making decisions that are both competitive and well-aligned with our budgets. The platform strikes the right balance between functionality and strategic insight, making it not just a tool but a critical partner in helping us create a rewarding employee experience. I couldn’t be more impressed with both the product and the team behind it.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

We’re have been partnering on a few small updates, and the experience has been fantastic. What truly sets this team apart from other software vendors is their proactive approach to sharing updates on enhancements we’ve requested. It honestly feels like a collaborative effort to keep improving the product.

- Expanding functionality to empower more teams beyond compensation managers, including Talent Acquisition.

- They're working on features to view historical band data and variance

- Providing an executive view for department changes

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave helps us navigate the complexities of compensation by giving our leaders clear, accessible data to make thoughtful pay decisions. It’s improved our process, added transparency, and made it easier to balance competitive offers with budget goals, ultimately supporting our efforts to attract and retain great talent.

  ### 17. Streamline Compensation

With Pave’s data-driven approach, we’ve been able to make more strategic decisions around compensation, which has had a direct impact on our company's growth and ability to retain top talent. As a compensation leader, Pave has become an essential tool in our strategy for continuous improvement.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

They do not currrently have data analytics tools embedded, which I think could really make the tool more useful.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve been able to make more strategic decisions around compensation, which has had a direct impact on our company's growth and ability to retain top talent.

  ### 18. Everything compensation in one place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Pave?**

The level of support from the team is phenomenal. They are constantly rolling out new features and helping us leverage all that the platform has to offer. Their webinars and community features are also super helpful for getting support and learning more.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Pave's market benchmarks are not as granular or reliable as other sources.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave helps us run our merit cycles easily, and generates reward letters for hundreds of employees at the click of a button. Their market pricing tool allows us to easily manage our salary bands and highlight compensation benchmarks for our team members.

  ### 19. Cohesive solution for total rewards communications and mgmt.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Robust compensation planning tools including ranges/bands, comp cycle execution, and great client support.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Due to limitations of our core HR system we are unable to show salary history in Pave

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlined compensation cycles from end to end. Using the system to define rules and guidelines and flag exceptions is a significant time saver. I never want to go back to spreadsheets.

  ### 20. Great Compensation Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keisha F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Pave has been helpful in getting our salary bands created for each of our roles. We are small company and integrating our data with Pave has helped us get reliable compensation data comparable to companies of our size. This has helped to make sure our employees are being compensated fairly and when posting new roles.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

There is not anything I can think of that I dislike.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave has helped us to develop a transparent compensation data for our team. Getting the data in one place based on the number of employees & equity is great!

  ### 21. Incredible tool!!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adey T. | Vice President, Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

We just purchased Pave ~2 months ago and are in process of implementation. We started with the Candidate Visual Offer Letter, then launched Employee Total Rewards, and we are now in the midst of setting up our first compensation cycle. So far it has been an incredible tool with tons of capabilities and customization. Our CSM and Implementation reps are great and very knowledgeable. They meet with us twice a week to ensure our set up goes well and are very committed to a successful launch. I would highly recommend this tool for any HR team to help communicate the true value of Total Rewards, close candidates at a higher rate with the beautiful visual offer, and plan for comp cycles without awful spreadsheets.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

So far the integration with UKG Pro has been mediocre at best. I think this is more of a UKG Pro issue in the way they feed over the data, but I would like to see Pave improve how they receive and sort the data to make the integration more seamless. There is not much else to dislike, to be honest. Pave is always updating their offerings and showcasing really cool future product roadmap where I can tell they really listen to their clients and move quickly to get it done.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communicating the true value of Total Rewards to candidates to help increase signed offer rates, to employees to help them understand the investment and $$$ we pour into their employment, and eventually this will help us get out of manual spreadsheets for compensation planning.

  ### 22. Pave is sleek and makes compensation easy to administer and understand

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

After years of doing compensation the hard way - sending spreadsheets from department to department trying to get alignment around yearly merit cycles, our team was thrilled to finally discover Pave. Their many valuable features include:

- A sleek total rewards dashboard which helps employees visualize the value of their equity (and future potential value), base and variable compensation, yearly bonuses, and benefits in a centralized location. This dashboard also allows integration with Carta, ADP and other systems to provide real time information and a single source of truth for employees.

- A dynamic budgeting tool which helps HR, the Finance department and Executives estimate total spend and compare various potential scenarios to plan for upcoming merit cycles.

- Easy to launch compensation cycles that automate the decision making process from manager to director, VP and beyond. The workflow includes fully customizable columns which show or hide information of your choosing.

- Third party pay bands (which are spot on by the way) reducing your reliance on services like Radford, Mercer, Companalyst and others.

- Team view which allows managers the ability to see custom information about their teams including up to the minute compensation, pay ranges, compa ratio and more.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

I struggle to think of anything about Pave which I dislike. It really is as great as the demos suggest and their customer service is second to none. We've had a great experience from start to finish.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave is saving our team time and heart ache - while simultaneously offering the employees a simple and easy to understand visualization of their compensation. Much of the work our team had been doing to manually host merit cycles, decide on promotions, match job codes, establish pay ranges, answer questions about equity, create compensation statements for employees and so forth, has been automated by this tool. It's truly been a game changer for our team.

  ### 23. Senior People & Talent Operations Associate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madison E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

- very responsive and communicative team that is always asking for feedback
- easy to understand tool
- provides company with visibility that they need without sharing data we would like to keep confidential (much harder to do something like this on GSheets)

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

- would be great if Pave integrated with performance tools
- Need to ask CSM to turn off and turn on cycle every time we need to make an update, would be great if we could do this ourselves
- reward letters are manually coded by CSMs, take a bit long to push out and not very scalable imo

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to do all of our compensation planning in spreadsheets. At our size and with the amount of data we are dealing with, it's quite impossible. Pave helps us give our company the visibility they need without sharing what we need to get confidential. It's easy to get relevant folks involved. Onboarding was a breeze and would be impossible to get as many people involved on spreadsheets

  ### 24. Compensation Planning and Review Made Easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Pave is completely customizable and therefore can hold as much or as little information as you need to make compensation plannig and review a breeze. It integrates with a number of platforms too making it easy to ensure accurate data.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

It still requires some manual work towards the end of the planning/comp cycle that can lead to errors, but I know the team is already addressing this!

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It integrates with our HRIS and Carta platforms so we no longer need to conduct comp planning in spreadsheets (prone to human error).

  ### 25. Makes the impossible, possible!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessamyn W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

All in one compensation management tool. Super easy to navigate and manage multiple workflows during merit cycles. Incredible customization to fit our unique bands; and a rockstar support team that holds your hand through the entire process.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

I'd like for there to be more data points in their comp benchmarking tool. Not all of our jobs/roles are represented in their data base, so we have to supplement by looking for other resources.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Putting all of our comp management tools in one place; facilitating multi-user engagement (i.e. getting all managers in one interactive system and out of gsheets).

  ### 26. Pave an easier way to comping your employees

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassandra R. | Council Member + Contributor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Pave is one of the most useful HR platforms on the market. From being able to share dynamic offer letters with candidates, to producing total reward statements and real-time salary benchmarking for current employees, Pave has up-leveled our abilities to be an employer of choice with a strong Total Rewards philosophy. The best part of the product is the world-class support you get from true experts.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

The user interface could be optimized for managers using the platform's merit cycle portion. Since they use it less frequently than members of the HR team, more prompts would be helpful.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave helps us to price new roles, budget for merit cycles, and keep up with pay equity. We are more enabled to attract talent at the right pay ranges and engage current talent with market-relevant compensation.

  ### 27. One-Stop Shop for all things Comp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Pave?**

-Go-to resource for employees, managers, and admins on all-things compensation
-Pave's team is incredibly quick to iterate on product feedback and constantly adding useful + relevant new features based on customer feedback
-Visual offer letters + total rewards statements provide a full picture of rewards for Recruiters, candidates, and employees
-Compensation planner tool has saved hours of admin time and given managers more visibility into the compensation decision-making process

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

-Pave's benchmarking set is growing quickly but doesn't always have the level of specificity we would look for in certain roles
-Budget functionality is still being built out, and hasn't given us the level of flexibility that we currently need

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compensation + equity benchmarking, centralized place for compensation review cycles, rewards visualization (attraction + retention tool), enhanced compensation education

  ### 28. An experience that set the bar for what it means to have your product AND people reflect excellence.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kip H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

The efficiency and effectiveness of their CS team and Implementation team.
A constant desire to listen and respond to our perspectives and needs.
An experience that was both professional and personable.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

I enjoyed working with the employees of Pave so much that I came to expect a similar experience with other vendors to no avail.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave has allowed us a simple and efficient way to run compensation leveling, provide equitable pay bands, run clean merit cycles, and clearly communicate our total rewards to our employees.

  ### 29. Massive time saver and impact multiplier for an HR team of one.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

* Hands down the support - we work with a specialist to work out the kinks and utilize the latest product updates with each comp cycle. The team is available and so helpful.
* The product applies our recommendations on adjustments but also lets me make edits to the final outcome. The little things are accounted for like promotion logic with equity and budgets.
* The approval chain allows each manager and manager of managers to see the adjustments for their teams and departments. Achieving this via Google Sheets was pretty cumbersome. Managers are also able to review their team's comp at any point in time.
* Team members have visibility into their level, total comp, potential comp w/equity and company success, plus a timeline showing adjustments over time. We opted to be transparent for all team members on where they fall in their level and band and Pave allows us to show this info without barriers.
Overall, helps multiply my impact and gives visibility to team members and managers.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

This is a positive - Pave is taking feedback from customers and incorporating it, as a customer, I'd love to see things move quickly but really believe Pave is doing their best. One item in the works is incorporating team members from multiple HRIS...we have a dispersed team and this info lives outside of Gusto. This is tough at the moment since I'm having to run comp adjustments for those outside of Gusto in spreadsheets.

I haven't tried out all of the comp tools available in market today and can't truly compare Pave to others.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scaling compensation processes.

  ### 30. Narvar Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

The product UI is great, ease of use (both from admin & end-user standpoint), like the benchmarking tool

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Small thing - that everytime I upload a file during a cycle it's added to the comment section for the employee. This muddles up the comments so I have to search for the meaningful stuff.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None right now

  ### 31. Pave

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Pave is a great employee retention tool. It is a great way for us to show employees their potential stock options payout.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

A downside of using Pave is the administrative tasks. As pave grows I assume these will get better.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compensation. Currently, we use Pave to keep a pulse on the market.

  ### 32. Extremely helpful when your ready for it

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Its highly user-friendly and easy to administrate. The Pave team members are always available and great to work with.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

I wish there were more reporting. Once you get the levels and bands set up, how are the different levels paid compared to standards (P1 vs P4 vs M5)

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use their visual offer letters to show new hires their Total Rewards. Also, Pave for benchmarking new hires and current staff. We've created paybands for pay equity.

  ### 33. Pave user review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

I love that Pave continually enhances the compensation-planning platform experience, improving functionality for both employee users and administrators. In particular, I appreciate that there is the functionality for administrators to configure significant elements of a planning cycle on their own, without having to rely on Pave. At the same time, Pave support throughout the cycle is great.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

On occasion platform enhancements can be rushed, posing challenges.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Administering compensation increase budget as efficiently as possible.

  ### 34. Good tool for internal and external use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agnaldo J. | TEch Sourcer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Pave?**

- Seeing more clearly what your personal compensation pack looks like;
- Ability to play around with numbers, this is good for employees wondering their earnings with equity for example, but also for showing things to candidates receiving our offer
- Clarity on how much money you're getting on benefits

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

- I'm based in Brazil, Pave has the option to show values in my local currency, but it could be nice if Pave would consider different particularities from each country they support, like showing monthly comp instead of annual, 13 salary and etc

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Offer visualization for candidates
- Internal clarity for employees to be in control of their earnings and comp structure
- measuring the money invested in your benefits package

  ### 35. Pave is your Compensation and Reward solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eveliene M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

The team has been very helpful throughout the implementation work. Pave offers everything that is relevant from total rewards to compensation management and benchmark data all under one roof, while it supports your organization globally.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

none at the moment; it is a very user-friendly solution.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

centralizing and managing total rewards, compensation management and benchmark data connected to our career levels and market we have our talents work from.

  ### 36. A no Brainer, compensation planning accelerator

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael J. | Vice President of Finance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Pave?**

The freemium tier is a great start to bringing rigor and clarity in compensation planning. Getting started was really easy

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Hard to say anything that isn't working well for the value you get from the freemium tier. As you filter down the sample sizes can get small but I'm sure that will fill out over time

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave brings a rational view to compensating new employees and also when considering adjustments for current employees. It also gives clear dividing lines between roles and seniority.

  ### 37. Pave is an excellent partner!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Not only is Pave highly impactful in communicating the full value of compensation to candidates and employees (especially equity), but Pave is an incredibly responsive partner.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Limited user role options, no refresh grant capability, no bonus slider, limited analytics/usage metrics, manual permissions group management of employees and managers is required to avoid errors at login for individual contributors

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing visibility into total compensation including equity and benefits.

  ### 38. Sleek, easy-to-use, and free compensation benchmarking platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cathy L. | Business Operations Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Pave's UI is great! Very clean and simple, but incredibly informational. I love that you can compare compensations of companies by a variety of metrics, including total fundraised, number of employees, valuation, etc. It's also very easy to compare role seniorities as well as geographic locations

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Nothing to dislike so far! I will say that it would be great to show equity compensation as a percentage, in additional to dollar value

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave is helping us provide competitive, at-market compensation. This is incredibly helpful as our company grows and we hire some roles for the first time. It easily syncs to our HR systems (Pulley and Justworks) as well so we don't have to manually input our data.

  ### 39. Very easy to utilize

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Pave?**

Pave shows a screenshot high level of everything you need

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Pave could be a little more visually appealing

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps solve my overall compensation package

  ### 40. If you are using Pave for the equity comp component its a great tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Pave?**

I have used Pave for over 2.5 years now and have found it most valuable for understanding the value of my equity grants. It easily allows you to toggle the share price to understand what this impact could be long term. This is really valuable to help with the retention of employees. We are also using Pave to deliver promotions and awards to customers. That is mostly handled by our HR team but it is useful for records and review of COMP changes.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Honestly there isn't much that bugs me about Pave. It is pretty simplistic and does what we need it to do. Visually it is pretty good, but maybe the basic UI could be upgraded.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave allows us to show the full benefits package to our employees to help with retention tactics. This is really important in a competitive market where the whole package needs to be evaluated

  ### 41. It's a nice to have to show your employees the value of their compensation package.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Pave?**

It's a nice to have to show your employees the value of their compensation package. Our startup has valuable stock options which we issue to our employees and Pave helps us show the value of those options to help with retention over time and also help people understand their vesting schedules.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

It's a nice to have, but it's not a needed piece of software...yet. So I think continued feature adds will help solidify this as a must have for us long run. Some of this does overlap with our use of carta.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Showing employees their entire benefits package, including comp, benefits, and options. Equity rewards and performance rewards are also issued via Pave automations.

  ### 42. Beyond a Compensation Benchmarking Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Pave?**

There is a visual offer feature. You share your screen during the offer stage. The UI is extremely intuitive and user-explanatory. As a TA professional goes through each component of the offer from the base salary, equity or RSU's, bonuses, and benefits & perks. The visual experience makes it just that for the prospective employee, "an experience." It breaks down the numbers and gives the prospective employee an easy way to see far beyond what they would be making beyond their base. The interactive platform makes the prospective employee feel valued and it's just plain fun!

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

More features like the equity tool you can "play" around with to see how much potential you have to make with either components beyond equity, like base or bonus.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The impact it makes during the offer stage is invaluable. The prospective employee really understands their offer and feels the value the prospective employer believes the prospective employee would bring if they accepted.

  ### 43. A reminder of why you work for a private company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Pave?**

the ability to slide the scale on what the payout could be on my shares

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

would appreciate it if Pave included tax advice on exercising options

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the value of the shares and what the potential growth means for me

  ### 44. Pave the way to a happier workforce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon B. | Product Expert, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Pave?**

The ability to display and depict the value of an employees compensation package, in a way they will understand. Navigating nuances such as stock options can be tough. Using Pave shows promise of how we can show the value of these to employees who many not have this financial understanding.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

Not many things that I did not like. If I am forced to knit-pick, I would say there is not a single stand-alone feature that makes this tech a must-have. But the complementary features are great.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Displaying to employees their entire compensation and benefits package. Including equity and variable performance rewards. Enabling employees financial understanding without having to study it themselves.

  ### 45. Pave has been a very helpful experience through simplicity.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Pave?**

I enjoy the simplicity that information is displayed.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

I do not like how for some features there is a lack of description.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pave is helping me see the package my job offers me.

  ### 46. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Pave?**

It's very clear to see what the value of your benefits are in one place.

**What do you dislike about Pave?**

It includes benefits that you may not use as part of your total compensation.

**What problems is Pave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a one stop shop for all things compensation. It gives you a look at bonuses as well.
