**What do you like best about Klara?**

I like that Klara makes it easy for patients to connect with us, and we can solve queries without the need for a call. The system is easy to learn, and we found it simple to use. Setting up Klara was straightforward, just requiring an email for signup. Initially, we were a small team of about 7 to 8 people, but now more than 20 people use Klara.

**What do you dislike about Klara?**

I think Klara could improve the time it stays active on the website. It logs off after 30 minutes, which is a bit inconvenient for me.

**What problems is Klara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Klara to easily chat with patients about their appointment queries, medication refills, and records without calls. It simplifies connecting with patients and handling queries efficiently.

I love using Klara for communicating with patients because it really allows for fast communication. I find the ease of the setup incredibly convenient, which means my team and I can start using it without any hassle. What stands out for me is how Klara organizes conversations efficiently, making it easier to keep track of patient interactions. Additionally, one of the valuable features of Klara is that patients are able to text pictures, which adds a level of accessibility and convenience in sharing necessary information quickly. Compared to the previous product we used, Klara offers more accessibility, making it a better choice for us overall.

I find Klara can be glitchy at times, which hinders its reliability during communication. Additionally, it's slow to update, which can be frustrating when immediate responses or actions are required.

What I like best about Klara is it is HIPAA compliant and the ease in chatting with our patients as needed. You can customize groups for the messages to come to specific people in the practice. I like having the capability of reassigning a message to someone specific to handle for the patient.

**What do you like best about Klara?**

Klara has really improved our capacity on communicating with our patients. It has significalty reduced our outgoing calls.  We utilize it for self scheduling, as well, for routine eye exams with our Optometrists.  We are able to request information needed from our patients very quickly.  We also use it for estatements and surgery payment deposits.  It has helped streamline many of our manual processes.  Looking forward to future enhancements !  was easy to implement and is very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Klara?**

Klara needs to be whitelisted with Mod Med.  Also when a patient cancels or requests to reschedule, it takes the patient off the schedule - which is great.  But if the patien then turns around before the appointment and changes it to Confirm, it puts them back in that slot.  At times this creates double booking because that slot could have already been filled.

**What problems is Klara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were having to make alot of outbound calls, especially from the call center.  So our answering phones percentage was extremely poor.  Having Klara being used by the call center has allowed our answer rate to be at 80% and higher for inbound calls.  We were struggling at 50% answer rate.  When a patient is scheduled an appt, either via the call center or after a check out, Klara automatically sends them their scheduled appt date and time.  We have been able to send requests for certain information and patients are able to submit it through Klara and it is imported into their chart.

There are no redeeming qualites. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and get the platform Podium so you can actually speak to your patients in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Klara?**

I had high hopes for Klara, but my experience has been incredibly disappointing. The customer service was lacking; it took ages to get a response, and when I finally did, it felt dismissive. The platform itself is outdated and a hassle for patients to use, making effective communication nearly impossible. This is crucial for scheduling or rescheduling appointments, especially since most patients prefer not to call the office. As a small business, I expected better support and communication, but it seems like Klara prioritizes larger clients instead. Overall, it’s definitely not worth the money, and I cannot recommend their services based on my experience.

**What problems is Klara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It did not solve anything.  Patients do not like having to use yet another app that they have to log into and then get logged out of within a few minutes. It constantly gives errors as well.

  ### 13. Ease of being able to 'just text the info' to the pt's when they ask or don't want 'another portal'.

**What do you like best about Klara?**

I like being able to text the pt's w/minimal delay and send/receive any forms/docs needed. I appreciate being able to see if the pt has or hasn't read the msgs as well. We have a lot of pt's ask to just text them info & not all use our portal system. Plus the portal has a delay where we have to wait for the pt to see an email that says they have a msg, log into the portal & then if they reply there, wait for someone to send a task that w/the portal msg & that may be delayed by not being sent to the correct person right away. With Klara, it gets assigned fairly quickly & we can see all the history if we open the pt's acct to send them a msg & see all correspondences as they happen instead of piece mail in multiple diff tasks/portal msgs in our portal system. (We get a new task for each portal msg even if they are responses to prev s msgs.) Pt's usually check/respond to text msgs fairly quickly.

**What do you dislike about Klara?**

1)I would like to be able to send forms, orders, results, etc., directly to from the chart to the pt in Klara instead of having to save to the computer & then upload to Klara to send. 
2)It would be nice to have a list of recent pts you've communicated w/pop up when you go to/use the search bar. 
3)If there was a way to have preloaded messages you can pick from to send to pt's, like 'I am trying to reach you for x, please call....' or 'Here are the forms for x, please complete and return by...'. One's that each user can make specific to them would be best.

**What problems is Klara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not being able to reach patients to schedule or playing phone tag is my biggest issue. I have been able to communicate w/pt's via Klara when unable to connect by phone. I also utilize the ability to send/recieve forms & docs needed quite a bit as many pt's don't want to use our portal system or have fax capabilities. I can also see if pt's have read the msgs to make sure they have the info needed.

**What do you like best about Klara?**

Klara is extremely user-intuitive. There is no extensive training needed to understand how Klara works and how to utilize bits and pieces of it to create efficiencies across numerous job positions. We have loved that the implementation of Klara hasn't required our clinic to setup all the capabilities of it. We began using Klara for the HIPAA-compliant text messaging features, the appointment reminders and responses, and the e-forms feature. Patients are able to bypass downloading additional apps or creating usernames and passwords and simply login by verifying date-of-birth, name and phone number. Over the course of several months, we began enabling and using additional capabilities (voicemail transcription - LOVE THIS, pre & post appointment messages based on appointment type, e-statements, text-to-pay, etc). Klara has a great staff and support team that is truly dedicated to ensuring that it's setup correctly to your workflow and they genuinely want your practice to succeed in implementing this product. They have been receptive to feedback and come back with solutions!

**What do you dislike about Klara?**

Truly this is a product whose success is determined by the person in-office implementing this. Klara has made communication internally with staff and patients so much easier first and foremost. While we had some staff that were initially resistant to change, it was quickly realized how much easier this product made each of our jobs. Educating staff on this product is so critical!

Klara has enabled our clinic to quickly communicate and delegate messages & voicemails to the correct person. It has become a centralized location of communication that is trackable, can be exported to the chart, while also reducing response time for patients.

I like that I can text message patients.

**What do you dislike about Klara?**

Our patients do not like the set up, it is glitchy, the messages to pateints are too little to read.  We also cannot edit our own things.  We have to call a rep to do it, which is weird.  It is really not that easy to use.  It seems that it was a good idea, and some coders were hired, but coders were not kept to continue to innovate and fix.  CONTINUE INNOVATING or you will loose your product all together.

We can message patients, but they have stopped using because they do not like it.

I wish that there was a way to bridge Klara's information into our EMR.

Patients appreciate being able to text and reach staff in a timely manner. It makes it easier to multitask for staff.  We can not always break away to answer phones but we can change screens on the computer to use Klara while doing other things. Patients and staff appreciate being able to send and receive pictures, making our work more efficient and helping to manage our time.

**What do you like best about Klara?**

I love being able to message patients, as it can be quicker than calling. It also allows us to communicate with other staff about an individual patient in one thread so information can be referenced. I do use it every day at my work, and use it frequently as a patient.

Getting started is very easy, and simple to do, both as a medical staff and a patient.

**What do you dislike about Klara?**

Not being able to search/see which conversations were closed. Sometimes, I need to go back to the conversation I just closed, and if I don't remember who it was, I'm stuck. If I try going through past conversations, there are too many to go through to find the patient I'm looking for.

User friendly and love that I have direct contact with a patient, our hours of operation are usually the same working our for our patients so being anle tp communicate via text is so convinient.

Do not dislike anything so far, Im only on there when communicating with a patient about appointments.

Klara is easy to use and understand.It is easy to implement and train new staff and clients how to use.  It has many features that are helpful for all partied involved.  We use it daily  to assist our clients and to communicate between inter-office personnel.  Customer support is easy to access and quick response and resolution time.

It is not compaticble with our current system so we have to use both systems for communication.

**What do you like best about Klara?**

The introductory call was amazing - all the points about the services offered sounded like a dream.

**What do you dislike about Klara?**

Onboarding was unnecessarily slow. Took 1-2 weeks to get on a 15 minute call. They had (4) different 15 minute calls prior to "launch date" which was still not officially launched. Constantly had to message the people in charge of our account to get any correspondence from them. By the time we had access to login and try out the features, we realized we were not given completely transparent information and that all of our staff would have access to every single clients information. 

From the beginning we told the sales guy we were in-home healthcare that we have one entry staff with one client (which he was familiar with because his child also had the therapy we provide from another agency). I understand why doctors can have access to any clients info, but an entry level staff right out of high school should not have this information. 

Overall, between the training/onboarding, awful communication (still waiting on a response to be removed from their contract 3 weeks ago - followed up 3 times and no response!), and it not actually being confidential I felt compelled to write a review. I dont usually write reviews, I've used bad software before. This one is by far the worse experience I have ever had with a software which is sad because I am from the city/town that they are based in so I thought it was a sign that it would be a good fit. Guess not! 

We ended up finding a HIPAA compliant chat online that we could practice on before making a committment. I will only do that moving forward with any software we try.

It is not benefiting me. They took forever to set up and once set up was finally told that it would not work for our agency.

**What do you like best about Klara?**

I love that I can clearly state due process, appointments, and other pertinent information to my patients in real time without the hassle of waiting for someone to pick up a phone call. Clear, black and white words on the screen tend to be easier to understand and a reliable source to reflect on when they need to find important answer to their medical needs.

**What do you dislike about Klara?**

Klara only has one flaw. That flaw is a major deduction in points in my opinion. When someone calls and klara picks up the voicemail in order to translate to text so I can read it on my screen, it cuts off the voicemail and only gives me bits and pieces of the original voice message. If this one major flaw could be fixed, I'd give klara a perfect score.

**What problems is Klara solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klara helps to communicate with our patients in real time without the fuss of playing phone tag. This not only benefits our clinic, it also benefits the patient. Patients have complained many times about not being alble to get through via phone calls. Klara eliminates those complaints by 50%. As long as our patients can navigate a smart phone or computer, they are more likely to use klara text which ultimately gets messages to the provider in a sufficient amount of time.

I like that "unread" and "read" part. Its very easy to copy and the MRN number and access patients accounts to help them quicker. It's great for patient if there at work and need to cancel or reschedule an appointment because it's like a text message conversion.

Its hard to communcation with patient when it's not a basic request like making, cancelling and reschdueling  an appointment.
