## About Gain
Gain is the content approval platform for marketing teams and agencies. It replaces the disconnected stack of tools most teams are using to approve social posts, files, documents, or any content on the web – and keeps a complete record of every decision along the way. Most teams manage approvals across two or three separate tools: one for social posts, another for reviewing PDFs and files, and a third for web content. Gain replaces all of them. Every piece of content your team creates moves through customizable approval flows, builds a complete approval record, and gets published or delivered with full documentation of who approved what and when. Gain is built for agencies managing multiple clients and in-house marketing teams where content needs sign-off from brand, legal, or leadership before it goes live. If your team cannot afford to publish content that wasn't properly approved, Gain is built for you. Key capabilities: ● Dedicated workspaces for each client or brand, with separate content calendars and controlled team access. ● Customizable approval flows that route social posts, marketing files, text documents, and web URLs to the right stakeholders in the right order. ● One-click approvals and magic login links so clients and external reviewers can approve without creating an account. ● Automatic, time-stamped records of every approval decision across every content type. ● Auto-publishing to 8 social platforms once content is approved. ● Flat-rate pricing with unlimited reviewers, starting at $99/month.

## Gain Reviews
 ### 1. A quick way to manage and control your social media presence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cesar M. | Digital Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Gain is constantly improving, recently they introduced a new "members" admin feature where you can easily control if a member needs to be a team member or an approver.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Some UI/UX tweaks would be great, for instance, if you have a team member with a lot of accounts, the action buttons "delete", "remove" etc. are all the way down and you have to scroll. Would be great if these would be sticky buttons instead. Minor tweaks more than anything

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Organizing all my posts in one calendar
- Arranging different views that I've personalized: sweepstakes, paid posts, dark posts, reminders, anything you'd want!
- Receiving feedback from the client: the approval workflow is quite seamless and lets you keep track of every comment made about a specific design.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Cesar,
Thank you so much for your amazing review! Our goal is to provide a seamless experience, and it's fantastic to hear that Gain has been a game-changer for keeping your content strategy on track.

We greatly appreciate your understanding that social channel APIs are beyond our control, but rest assured we continuously strive to provide a smooth experience regardless. Our dedicated Customer Success team is here to support you if you encounter any challenges or need assistance reconnecting your channels.

We truly value your feedback and appreciate your continued support.

 ### 2. Best Social Media Scheduling Platform There Is

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phillip S. | Site Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Gain?**

First and foremost is the ease of the approval process. All of my clients, regardless of how tech savvy they are, are able to utilize Gain's approvals easily. That guarantees the process is efficient and the client knows exactly what they are getting before any piece of content goes live.

The second thing is how great the customer service is. They are always open and willing to listen, able to help with a concern, and are constantly working to upgrade and improve their platform both to serve the users' needs and to keep things working smoothly with each social media platform.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

The only downside I've ever run into is on the side of META and how often they change things without warning. Gain always works to update their connection to the platform as quickly as they can to ensure users are able to maximize Gain to their best abilities.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us an easy approval process both internally and externally.

**Official Response from Albizu Garcia:**

> Phillip, thanks so much for leaving a review and for trusting Gain, the team really appreciates the positive comments. We feel the Meta pain too. Each time it changes, we jump on the fix, and your patience really helps. If anything ever slows you down please let us know.

 ### 3. A good tool to organize your social media content

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica B. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Gain?**

It's ease to use and connect all your social media accounts. Now includes Tiktok.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

LinkedIn requires almost a monthly reconnection. I'm not sure if it's a LinkedIn requirement o Gain requirement but you need to reconnect frequently vs other social accounts.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A better way to schedule and approve all the social media content

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Veronica,
Thank you for your review! At its core, Gain aims to make it easy to manage your social media approvals and scheduling, and we're delighted to hear it's benefiting you in this regard.

We're excited to inform you that you can publish Instagram Stories and videos directly from Gain! We truly value your feedback, and we’re committed to enhancing our platform to meet the evolving needs of our users. If you have any more suggestions or questions, please feel free to contact our support team. We’re here to help!

 ### 4. Game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie K. | Sr. Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Gain is hands-down my favorite social media scheduling tool. It streamlines content approvals, keeps everything organized by client, and eliminates messy email threads. I can plan, review, and collaborate all in one place—saving time and making my workflow way more efficient.

If you work in social or content, this tool is a game-changer. Highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Previews can occasionally be a little off.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gain solves one of the biggest headaches in social media management: the content review and approval process. Instead of chasing down feedback over email or juggling endless versions of a post, I can upload, schedule, get approvals, and make edits—all in one place.

It keeps everything organized by client, which means I spend less time managing logistics and more time creating content that actually performs.

**Official Response from Albizu Garcia:**

> Hi Stephanie—Albizu here, CEO at Gain. Thanks for calling us a game-changer and for trusting us with your workflow!

Regarding those preview hiccups: we share your frustration. Social networks constantly tweak layouts, add new formats, and A/B-test designs, so the target keeps moving. Pixel-perfect previews are core to Gain, and we refuse to settle for “almost.”

If you ever spot a mismatch, please flag it in-app or email support@gainapp.com so our team can jump on it right away.

Thanks again for helping us make Gain even better!

 ### 5. Approval Workflows are Unmatched

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tela K. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I did an extensive search for a social media and marketing scheduling tool that would support client approvals. Gain is a fantastic solution! They are continually adding new features and release updates regularly. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Not much to dislike! You do lose some of the Instagram features of adding overlays to stories but you can schedule posts, reels and stories, which is a win!

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We subscribed to Gain for the approval workflows so multiple client groups can review and approve content.

 ### 6. Gain is a vital part of our Social scheduling at Schweigen.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay L. | Marketing and Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Gain?**

To view the Posts in a calendar format. Easily duplicate posts for multiple Platforms. The Approval Process. Automatic Posting, set and forget.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Can't add collaborators for Instagram. Can't auto-schedule long-form video within Instagram.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gain assists with Scheduling Social Posts across a mulitude of Platforms. I can easliy see the upcoming posts in a calandar format. The ability to have our marketing team easliy create posts and send them for approval to me.

**Official Response from Albizu Garcia:**

> Hi! Albizu here, CEO at Gain. Thanks for the 5 stars and for making Gain a key part of Schweigen’s workflow. Love that the calendar and approvals help your team move faster. Noted on Instagram collaborators and long-form video—we’re listening. If you’re open to it, can you share a bit more at support@gainapp.com? Thanks again for the trust!

 ### 7. Powerful Tool for Seamless Sales Enablement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konstanty H. | QA Engineer/Software testing, Information Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Gain?**

What I like best about Gain is how it simplifies the entire content approval and collaboration process. The interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy to create, review, and approve marketing materials quickly. It’s a huge time saver for teams, helping everyone stay aligned and productive without endless email chains.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

The one thing I find a bit frustrating about Gain is that the notification system can sometimes be overwhelming, especially when multiple projects are running at the same time. It would be great to have more options to customize alerts so you only get the most relevant updates.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gain solves the problem of disorganized content reviews and approvals. Before using it, feedback was scattered across emails and chats, causing delays and confusion. With Gain, all comments and approvals are centralized, which speeds up the process and ensures everyone is on the same page. This has saved me a lot of time and helped deliver projects faster.

 ### 8. Under rated app that over delivers!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leslie B. | Medical Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Gain?**

The value for the money spent on running social content has been huge! Also, the learning curve was simple, and they have amazing customer support!

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Honestly, I don't have any complaints. None.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Post scheduling to multible locations and multiple accounts. Others charged considerably more for similiar tasks.

**Official Response from Albizu Garcia:**

> Hi there Leslie! Albizu here, CEO at Gain.

Thank you for the 5 stars and the kind words! We’re thrilled that Gain’s learning curve felt simple, that our team has your back, and that scheduling across multiple locations/accounts delivers strong value without the hefty price tag. I’ll share your shout-out with support, they’ll love it.

 ### 10. Great Software! Has changed the game for our clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yobana B. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Gain?**

We use Gain every day as it streamlines our processes for us. Keeping internal and client approvals all in one place. It helps us stay on top of content and allows us to use API features for social posts. Their customer support is amazing and very responsive. You get a response almost the same day, which is unheard of in Social Software.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

They are a little late with platform updates, such as 3-minute reels. The app is also just for posting notifications; you can't see much in mobile view.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us streamile all of our approval processes

 ### 11. The best social media management software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Fundador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Updates, technical support, and functionalities. No software change

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Nothing, everything is perfect. They strive to update the news and resolve the issues.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productivity days and time, internal communication

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hello David,

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bridget G. | Social Content Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Its accessible and clean user experience

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

I can't always automatically post what I can in-app. Reconnection is also a pain--I also constantly have to reconnect LinkedIn.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

posting across multiple brands

**Official Response from Albizu Garcia:**

> Hi Bridget,

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad the clean UX works for you; keeping things simple while adding new features is one of our biggest ongoing challenges.

We know LinkedIn reconnections disrupt your flow. While their token rules are outside our control, we’re testing ways to reduce how often you have to reconnect and to make the process quicker when you do.

 ### 13. Streamline content approvals effortlessly with GAIN

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Óscar S. | Digital Planning & Creative Strategy Director, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

GAIN has transformed how we manage approvals and social media content. What we like the most is its intuitive interface, which makes scheduling, reviewing, and approving content seamless for multiple teams and clients. The commenting and review functionality is precise, helping maintain clear communication, avoiding misunderstandings, and speeding up the workflow. Additionally, the automated approval process is an invaluable time-saver for our agency.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

While GAIN is excellent for managing approvals, we would like the platform to offer more advanced integrations with other tools we use daily. We've also noticed that uploading some visual files can be slightly slow, which could be improved to optimize the user experience.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GAIN helps us streamline the entire content approval process, eliminating the back-and-forth of emails and scattered feedback. It centralizes all communication related to content drafts, reviews, and approvals in one place, making it easier for our teams and clients to collaborate effectively. This has significantly reduced delays, ensuring that we meet tight deadlines without compromising quality. By automating approval workflows, GAIN allows us to maintain a smooth and efficient content management system, which saves us time and helps improve productivity across our projects.

 ### 14. Work Smarter While Looking More Professional

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lizanne T. | Co-Founder and Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I have been using GainApp since I started working at my first digital marketing agency 7 years ago. Wherever I work, or whenever I talk to someone in the industry, I try to convince them to use GainApp for their social media approval processes. Now that I am an owner of a digital marketing agency, it was a no-brainer to get Gain. It was one of the first tools our small business "invested" in.

In the past 7 years Gain also kept up with the social media trends and the pain points digital marketers experience, trying to make it easier and more user-friendly with every update. I am especially excited about the feature for Reel Covers launching soon!

The customer support is also really great! It's amazing to know that 7 years later, I still receive the same high-quality customer support. Usually, a new business tries to be very supportive in the beginning and once the company grows, they start focusing on other areas of the business. Gain still prioritises customer feedback and client relationships.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Some of our clients feel like they can't "see" the changes they requested on a post once they published their changes.

I personally wish that sometimes I would get a "reminder" that my posts are still in drafts because I've forgotten a few times that I added a post in draft but that it hasn't been "scheduled". BUT then again, that is my mistake - not Gain's.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to keep track of all the social media clients we are managing as well as all of the reverts we are receiving from different clients.

 ### 15. Great Social Media Approval tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley B. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

The ease of approvals - we are able to schedule out social media posts for clients and send them for review all at once. I also like that I can easily sort posts by platform. I can also use Gain for content approval for things like blogs, videos and graphics.

If there is ever an issue, they are quick to respond and get things taken care. Our clients like that they don't have to have a log in to approve posts. You can easily take away or add users without a crazy fee.

Since I last wrote this review, they have added a ton of features - including analytics reporting for social platforms. This makes looking at everything in one place really easy. It auto posts reels to Instagram now as well. We literally set it and watch it go!

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

I haven't found any. It's hands down the best tool I've ever used.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gain provides a easy and cost effective way for our clients to approve their social media posts. It also provides us the opportunity to provide clear reporting on each post we make and gauge how our content is doing.

 ### 16. My Favorite Tool for Streamlined Social Media Workflows + Approvals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chelsea E. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Gain App excels in simplifying workflows, allowing everything—content creation, scheduling, and client approvals—to happen in one place. Its ability to bring clients into the approval process has improved efficiency and strengthened client relationships. Features like easy duplication for cross-posting and automatic approval notifications make the whole process seamless. I also love the visual calendar view that gives a birds eye view of upcoming content – our clients love it too.

I've used a lot of social media schedulers in the past 10 years and I haven't found one that even holds a flame to Gain App.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

The main limitation is that some elements, like videos in a Facebook carousel or Reel cover photos, must be manually added outside the platform. Since Gain App is a smaller company, I do find that they take a bit longer to implement new features. That said, for me, the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gain App eliminates the bottleneck of manual content approval and scattered feedback. It centralizes the process, allowing team members and clients to approve, comment, or make changes efficiently. This not only speeds up project timelines but also ensures all communication is in one place, reducing back-and-forth emails. The automated workflows also free up time to focus on creative tasks, benefiting both client relationships and productivity.

 ### 17. Gain is a fantastic tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caite M. | Sr. Social Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I've used Gain for a handful of years now and it's never done me or my teams wrong. It's an amazing tool to help our content receive proper feedback and approvals as well as organize the posting calendar. We've been able to get a variety of clients to use it and they've mentioned it's seamless and very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Some of the things that I dislike about Gain may or may not be out of your control but some of the missing product offerings can create issues when routing content. For example, Gain doesn't offer mixed media when routing Instagram carousels, so we typically have to separate content in order to route everything. Another is not being able to upload a thumbnail image for Instagram Reels. I'm sure there are a few other API things, but that's really it.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes receiving client feedback and approvals easy and breezy.

 ### 18. The ideal platform for us as an agency.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel D. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

For us quality of our content is so important. We like best the approval features, as we have several review steps before it goes to the client, so I love that we can go through the approval process and then content automatically gets sent to the client.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

We schedule content for usually Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn at the same time, and it can be tedious having to duplicate the content for each channel. It would be good to be able to create the content at the same time (and just amend caption per channel like you can in buffer).

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage several clients in Gain. Gain allows us to schedule, feedback and give clients visibility across their marketing. The approval process also helps us massively as everything that needs client approval goes into Gain, so that we are covered from an insurance POV.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Samuel,
Thank you for the great feedback! We’re glad the approval features are helping you streamline client approvals. We appreciate your suggestion about scheduling across multiple channels—it’s valuable insight, and we’ll pass it on to our product team. Thank you for trusting us with such an essential part of your work.

 ### 19. Absolutely thrilled with the GAIN app!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Helena M. | Vice President, Social Content and Engagement Strategist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

It has truly transformed our content calendar approval process. The automation feature saves us so much time and effort, allowing our team to focus on what really matters—creating great content.

One of the standout benefits is the significant reduction in the margin for error. We can approve posts right from our smartphones or computers, making it incredibly convenient. Plus, the audit trail provides transparency, letting us see who approved what and when, which enhances our collaboration. It's easy to set-up and sync our social media platforms and use. The customer service is A+.

We use this tool frequently, so I love being able to preview social media posts before they go live; it helps us visualize the final product and ensure everything looks perfect. Overall, GAIN has streamlined our workflow, making it easier and more efficient. Highly recommend it to any team looking to enhance their content management process!

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

No dislikes to share. It's a great tool!

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GAIN is addressing several key challenges in the content approval process. First, it automates the entire calendar approval workflow, which saves us valuable time and effort that we can redirect towards content creation and strategy. This automation also significantly reduces the margin for error, ensuring that every post is accurate and aligns with our brand guidelines. Additionally, the ability to approve content from anywhere adds a layer of convenience that fits seamlessly into our busy schedules.

 ### 20. Super user-friendly tool and amazing customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justine S. | Content and Social Media Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

What I like most about Gain is how easy it is to use, both internally and externally. Content creation is a breeze, and customer approvals and feedback are easy to manage.
What's more, if there's a problem, the customer service team is dedicated, cares about its users and always responds quickly and professionally.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

There's not much I don't like about the tool. Perhaps the inability to post directly to Facebook groups, but that's a block via Facebook, not Gain.
Perhaps also the new plans available. We're still on the old plan and of the new ones, none of them suit us unless we double our monthly payments. It would be interesting to offer more affordable options.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of seeing all my clients and all their content in one place. The ease with which we can receive feedback and apply the necessary corrections.
Workflows and the possibility of automatic programming as soon as content is approved also save us time.

 ### 21. Best social media management tool for agencies!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah H. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Gain makes social media management for agencies a breeze! Working both as an employee at an agency and now being the founder of an agency, my clients over the past few years of using Gain have had nothing but positive reviews about the ease of content approvals on the platform. My team and I also love the calendar view for content planning, labelling key promotional periods and the ability to automatically schedule both posts and stories.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Gain could have some better analytics integrated, and I also find that sometimes it will compress the size of video files to make them blurry on social platforms. It would also be great to be able to post carousels or story sequences that include both video and photo together, rather than needing to separate them.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gain helps us to deliver content to our clients in an easy manner & we love how it manages all the content approval processes as an agency to our clien

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Sarah,
Thank you so much for your Gain review! We couldn't agree more – the ease of content approval, calendar view for planning, and automated scheduling are game-changers for agencies.

We hear you loud and clear about video quality. Our engineering team has worked on improvements, and you should see a noticeable difference in video resolutions now. Also, the ability to create mixed-media posts is on the horizon. Stay tuned to our latest product updates page https://changelog.gainapp.com/ for announcements.

Regarding metrics, our product team is actively working on improving analytics. We’ll be sure to pass your feedback along to them!

Thank you again for your time and valuable review.

 ### 22. Good but can be perfect with some improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Silvia P. | Digital Marketing and SEO Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

We were looking for an approval tool more than a software to public content and Gain was the best we found to fulfill this purpose. It is quite easy to use even if needs training because it's not that intuitive. Implementation and integration to our daily working routine was really easy so a plus. We are using it almost every day and really helps our job.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

I would not say that I dislike it but more what can be improved. For example add a round IF to the approval. This is missing. If somebody says no, the content would take another round of approval. Customer support could be faster and live.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I said we are using it mostly for approval process.

 ### 23. A fantastic all-in-one platform for post creation, scheduling, and approvals!

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I was first introduced to Gain back in 2017 while I was working at an agency as a social media manager. I initially loved the ease of use and approval process that allowed me to easily send content for approval to clients while I was managing a portfolio of over 20 accounts.

Fast forward to 2022, the new agency that I'm currently at was looking for a new platform that would help make the monthly content calendar process more seamless. I remembered Gain and how much of a great experience I had with any issues that arose. Their customer support was truly unbeatable compared to platforms such as Hootsuite and Buffer.

Since transitioning platforms, we've been able to cut down our monthly process significantly. Onboarding our internal team and clients was also quite easy, and their introduction videos provided a great visual for navigating through the different features. Our team uses Gain daily and integrating our client's social accounts was also seamless. Their customer service is top notch and they respond to your messages promptly!

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

There are certainly more pros about Gain and not very many cons I can think of. The only feature that would be a nice to have is the ability to publish documents on LinkedIn.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gain solved our agency's issues of providing a platform where you can create posts, have clients review/approve/provide feedback, and schedule posts.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Aifel,
We’re delighted to hear that Gain has helped your agency streamline its processes and improve collaboration with clients. Your mention of having used Gain since 2017 is particularly gratifying; we’re so glad to have you!

Regarding your suggestion for publishing documents on LinkedIn, this is currently on our roadmap, so stay tuned. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience, we look forward to continuing to serve you.

 ### 24. Gain makes your life easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruna C. | Director of Social, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Organization, clarity, ease of use, look and feel are some of my favorite things about Gain. When people are plugged into it properly, it's a smooth process and easy to follow. Customer help and support are often great and super welcoming.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

I wish clients could have Activity/Routing/Approvals view without having to be made a Contributor. I wish you could more easily download items. The 10MB limit is annoying often. There are some adoption hurdles I wish would be easier for stakeholders to jump over more easily and implement the tool as a necessity in their day-to-day

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

good organization for posts, and good tracking of approvals in one place.

 ### 25. Yasser Galeano - GainApp Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yasser G. | VP of Fulfillment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I like its ability to connect to multiple social media platforms, it's cross-team collaboration capabilities and its simple yet effective approval workflows.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

For some reason, our team still needs to post FB stories manually since it doesn't seem to be available in GainAPP (unless we are doing something wrong). I would love the ability to have reporting features built into Gain at some point.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us provide a clear and easy to use visual and platform experience to our clients for them to use when reviewing our Social Media calendar. The approval workflows come in very handy here.

 ### 26. Efficient, Visually Pleasing and Good/ Intuitive UX/UI, Helpful and Fairly Quick Support, Decent $

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erinna L. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I love the organization abilities of channels and organizations under Gain, we have multiple for each and it helps keep us super organized. The calendar view is my ride or die, I wouldn't be able to get much scheduled out without that view and the duplication options and custom link img etc. options are all a nice add as well. Integration of social channels is amazing! Sometimes thing can be frustrating to connect but only because of FB and IG/ the social channels that have complicated components (as long as everything is set up correctly there it is really easy to connect through gain).

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

The only thing I would change is the ability to have an instant chat with support option rather than waiting for an email back. They are super helpful and fairly quick to respond but having an instant answer would be nice rather than waiting and coming back to it.Also I would like to be able to select all on a day and choose schdcule without there being an error that some of them in that day are already set to scheduled (that's a bit annoying if I'm working on a few different posts and have to weed between the ones already scheduled to bulk schedule them).

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to schedule things out and get approval right through Gain so that the customer can see the finished posts and we don't have to put everything together in a separate place for approval then duplicate our efforts getting them into Gain. That is huge (especially with the automation flows where things schedule automatically once approved by specific people with and/or conditions). Time saver to the nth degree. I've utilized a whole soup pot of schedulers and the UX/ UI on Gain makes it incredibly easy to save time getting what I need done.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Erinna,

Thank you for your detailed review! Our team is thrilled to know how much you appreciate the intuitive UX/UI and how it saves you time and effort.

We understand the need for an instant chat support option and will take your feedback into consideration. Regarding scheduling in bulk, we offer a "select all" option as long as all your posts have the same status (Approved or Draft), you can schedule them in bulk. The easiest way is to use filters to weed out other posts in bulk. Our Customer Success team will reach out to you to share more information!

Your success is our priority, and we're glad to be a part of it. Thanks for being a valued member of the Gain community!

 ### 27. Great approval processes and easy to use!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny J. | Director or Client Relations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Our company switched to Gain from one of the larger scheduling tools. We enjoy how easy it is to use as well as the review feature we can use for our clients to conduct the review process and we have a detailed record to have on file. The customer support team is quick to assist with issues or questions.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

One thing I would really like is if there was a way to pull reports from all of the social platforms. I haven't noticed that X is available.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With our old scheduler, we didn't have a way for the clients to review the posts so we would use a message board which got clunky. This is an easier way to ensure we have quality control.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Jenny,
Thanks so much for your review! We’re thrilled you find Gain user-friendly and appreciate the smooth approval process.

We completely understand your need for reporting across all social platforms. Currently, due to recent API changes implemented by X (Twitter), we are unable to offer analytics for their platform.

This might change as we're constantly developing updates and new features. Be sure to keep an eye on our latest update page https://changelog.gainapp.com/ for upcoming improvements.

Once again, thank you for your time and valuable review.

 ### 28. Gain Got Back to Me Quickly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole H. | Freelance Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Gain is very easy to manuever. I use it for work, and it's very easy to type posts and get them through to approvals. I also like that if I want to schedule something, it informs me that it will be scheduled, even if it hasn't been approved

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Gain can be a bit frustrating, especially when it comes to publishing. I had reached out about accidentally clicking publish, and my post was published with no issue. Unlike when I click schedule, I believe the application should inform me that the post will be published, even without approval, and should give me the chance to cancel.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gain helps me solve thev issue of getting information out. It's a great tool for writing my social media posts, and not having to send each post directly to the next approver. Instead, it does it for me, and it makes getting post scheduled and posts very easy.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Nicole,
We're thrilled you find Gain easy to create and schedule social media posts. We appreciate your feedback about the notification and have passed your feedback along to our Product team. Our goal is to provide a smooth workflow, and a confirmation step for accidental publishing sounds very valuable.

Thanks again for your feedback!

 ### 29. The best app for social media scheduling!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Qussai M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Gain has been a game-changer for managing our social media. The approval workflow is a standout feature, ensuring our posts are consistent and on-brand before they go live. Scheduling across different platforms from one dashboard has simplified our process, saving us time and hassle. The organization of accounts, files, and brand assets in one place makes content creation seamless. Plus, their customer support is always responsive and helpful, making troubleshooting a breeze. The platform's continuous updates keep us ahead with the latest social media strategies. Highly recommend Gain for anyone looking to streamline their social media management.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Only a small thing. When I want to delete a workspace, I have to delete all of the folders attached to it seperatley, and disconnect the social media channels before deleting the workspace. That takes too much effort and time.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monthly Calendar
Linking all of the social media channels
Internal approval workflow
Approvals from the clients

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Qussai,
Thank you for sharing your experience with Gain! It's fantastic to know that our platform has been a game-changer for your social media management needs. We've taken note of your feedback regarding the process of deleting workspaces and associated folders, and we'll certainly explore ways to streamline this for you in the future. Stay tuned for updates, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or suggestions!

 ### 30. Love Gain!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paige F. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Being able to see everything planned out monthly is a huge benefit for us and our clients. We also really love the workflow and collaboration component that the platform offers.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

The only functionality that we find is lacking is the ability to schedule at optimized times for each platform, and the ability to tag personal accounts, as well as business accounts.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gain allows us to work for multiple clients all under one account, which is really important when only an agency. We are constantly moving from one account to another, and having the ability to swap easily is imperative.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Paige,
We're delighted to hear that Gain has greatly benefited you and your clients, especially in terms of planning and collaboration. It's great to know that our workflow and collaboration features are helping your team stay organized and efficient.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the scheduling functionality and tagging capabilities. We're always looking for ways to improve, and will pass your feedback along to our Product team.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any further suggestions or need assistance. We're here to support you!

 ### 31. A truly awesome tool to us at work, but it need improvments

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aline F. | Social Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Most of all, the WOW (way of work) its practical and de approval flows works in a daily-basis

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

It's kinda low when you want to upload pictures, and there is a lot of options that are not available (for example: multiple tweets)

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The approval workflows are very practical when you loom at the customer-bussiness relationship

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Aline,

We truly appreciate your review! It's fantastic to hear that Gain is proving to be practical and effective in improving your client relationships. Our Customer Support team will promptly connect with you to delve deeper into the slow uploads concern you raised. ### 32. My experience has been very good; I have been using it for more than 8 years.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

For me, the best thing about Gain is being able to see the status of my content just by logging in and also having my calendar there with the labels.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Definitely the labels and now being able to upload stories too.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to stop worrying about whether the content went out or not by just scheduling it in advance.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Thank you for being with us for so long! We're thrilled that Gain helps you stay organized and gives you peace of mind. We do offer scheduling for stories, so feel free to reach out to our Customer Success team with any feedback on this feature. Once again, thank you for being a valued customer.

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I like the web application, it is so easy to use, a nice UX UI.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

I want you guys to add a short link feature.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

everything but i need link shorter feature

 ### 34. Excellent approval flow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel K. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I use Gain for 10+ clients and it helps keep me organized and SANE. The calendar view is great for planning, and I use the approval/review tools weekly to communicate with my clients and schedule content. Their customer support is always prompt and helpful when I have a question.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

It would be awesome if there were better built-in analytics and insights. And using Gain for Instagram Reels and Stories (anything beside single image posts) can be challenging.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to send weekly emails to clients with social media content. Gain helps them better visualize a complete social media plan, and see posts exactly as they'll appear on each platform. Having a date/time stamp of approvals is incredibly helpful, too.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Rachel,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're thrilled that Gain has been instrumental in keeping you organized and maintaining your sanity! Regarding the challenges you've mentioned for Instagram, we're actively exploring ways to make this more user-friendly. We also understand the importance of robust built-in analytics, and our Customer Success team will contact you to learn more about your specific requirements.

Thank you again, and we look forward to continuing to support your business!

 ### 35. This system has helped me streamline a lot of my client onboarding and approval processes. AMAZING!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AnnaLisa J. | Owner / CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Their team is fast to respond when I need something or have a question. It is super convinient to have all of my client projects in one system and not have to deal with emails back and forth.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

I haven't come accross any downsides as of yet.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving my communication with clients. Emails can get lost on the daily so this is a wonderful tool to use as my main system for client projects.

**Reviewed by:** Mikala H. | Founder, Creative Director, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I own a creative studio and have been using Gain for a number of years to manage client social media. I love the clean interface, calendar view, and ability to add notes to plan content and campaigns. The approvals process is seamless, and it's also easy to export posts into a PDF for outside users or share a real preview of just one post. When there's an issue, the customer support team is on it quickly and works closely with dev to resolve.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

I would love the ability to search for keywords to be able to refer to past content more easily.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to allow clients to see live previews of content before going live takes the guesswork out of planning.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sydney P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Gain?**

- Ease of content approvals
- Hub for all information about content
- Customer support is very good
- Clients are able to quickly learn how to use the platform

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

 ### 38. Great, Versatile Platform for Basic Needs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I like how there are many different platforms that you can post to from Gain, for a very good price. It is very simple to use.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

The capabilties are not as in depth as other platforms. If you want a tool that is going to go above and beyond your basic scheduling and approval process, you're going to need to look somewhere else.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform is much easier to use than Google Business Profile and it makes it much easier to duplicate & push out posts for multiple locations of the business.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Natalie
Thank you for sharing your experience with Gain! We are thrilled to hear that our platform has made it easier for you to manage posts for multiple locations of your business and that it has simplified your posting process compared to Google Business Profile.

What I like most about the platform is that it is "user friendly", it is designed to easily implement and manage content. When I have questions, there is always someone available to help me with customer service, and it is a platform that, due to its ease of use, I use daily.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

I don't find that there are things to improve on.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to have a clear visual of what the content to be published for the accounts and brands I manage will be. It helps me to have an idea of what I am missing and how I can measure the content in the long term.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

 ### 42. Customer service team was very helpful in addressing my problem and timely in their response.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I love how Gain gives you a "preview" of what it will look like on Instagram or TikTok, for example. The calendar view setup is ideal and I found Gain to be very easy to learn for me and our clients.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

I'd love to see the ability to add a cover photo for reels. Our clients find the "grid preview" very important, and not being able to have the reel covers reflected in the grid preview is not ideal. However, I do love the grid preview option and how it is set up.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use when delivering content to clients

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Thanks so much for your fantastic Gain review! We're thrilled to hear you find the calendar view setup ideal and that Gain itself is user-friendly for both you and your clients.

We completely understand the importance of a polished grid preview, and we're happy to announce that the ability to add cover photos for Reels is coming soon! Stay tuned for updates; you can check out our latest update page here: https://changelog.gainapp.com/.

 ### 43. Very easy to use and user friendly!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hena H. | Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

The simplicity of it is honestly my favorite part. It's also very easy for our clients on the approver side to review content, leave comments, etc. We've had very little issues!

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

The reconnecting of channels is a but annoying from time to time. And sometimes posts randomly do not get automatically published.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automatically publishing our clients' social media content accross multiple channels. Allowng them to directly recieve content to their inbox and approve with ease.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Hena,
We appreciate your review! We're delighted you find Gain simple and user-friendly and that your clients have a seamless experience.

Reconnecting social channels is a routine process mandated by social networks to ensure your account's security. Some channels might require frequent reconnections, usually every 60-90 days, but can expire sooner due to various factors. Typically, it’s quick and straightforward, but we understand it isn’t very pleasant sometimes!

If you need assistance, please get in touch with our support team; they’ll be happy to help.

Thank you again for your review!

 ### 44. GAIN is a fantastic social media tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

GAIN is really easy to use for team members and clients. The approval process and moving around posts are very easy.
The support GAIN also offers is great—they respond very quickly, and I love the list of suggestions and improvements coming.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

I really don't dislike anything - there are just a few features that need to be added - like more analytics across all channels.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

client approval is made so easy.
Easy to move posts around and recycle posts
Easy to few all clients and review upcoming posts

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Kelly,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Gain! Our team works tirelessly to ensure Gain provides a seamless approval process, so we're thrilled to hear our efforts are paying off. We've taken note of your request for more comprehensive analytics and will pass it along to our Product team. Once again, we appreciate your support!

**Reviewed by:** Ella-Louise S. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I absolutely love how integrated Gain is with all of the platforms. Gain tends to be one of the first tools to implement new features alongside those released by platforms. From the updates, you can see how invested they are in making Gain a top performer.

It's easy to use, easy to implement, and I use it daily for scheduling content for clients.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Some accounts disconnect more often on Gain, but it's a two minute job to fix! Their customer support is great if you have any trouble.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gain solves the issue of having to post via individual platforms, allowing me to repurpose content.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Ella-Louise,
Thank you for sharing your experience with Gain! It's fantastic to hear that you find Gain easy to use and implement. Our engineering and support team constantly looks for ways to improve account disconnections, so we're happy to see that work is paying off.

**What do you like best about Gain?**

My favorite thing about GAIN is that it is easy to use with multiple team members. It is simple to navigate and get everything scheduled across all of our social media platforms.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

The only downside of GAIN is the lack of ease in accessing metrics and analytics for social media engagement. I also wish you could have different settings for users - it seems to be an all or nothing approach.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an easy and effective tool for scheduling out social media engagement.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Thank you for your review of Gain! We're thrilled you find our platform user-friendly and ideal for posting across multiple accounts.

We understand your feedback regarding more engagement metrics. This is a common request from our users, and we'll pass it along to our product team. We're also exploring implementing user permission levels to provide more granular control within teams. Please contact our Customer Success team to share your use case; we'd love to hear it!

Thank you again for your valuable feedback.

**What do you like best about Gain?**

You have everything in one platform and i use it every day.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

Use de folders or campains is very complicated.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have one platform in one, with access to all my team who i need to aproved or check a content is awsome.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Hi Samantha,
Thanks for sharing your experience with Gain! We're glad you find it a user-friendly platform. We understand your feedback about the complexity of folders or campaigns. Our team is actively working on making folder and campaign management more intuitive.

In the meantime, contact our Customer Success team if you have questions about using folders or managing campaigns. They're happy to help! Thanks again for the review. We value your feedback and will keep working to make Gain even better for you!

 ### 48. The best social media management tool I’ve used in 6+ years of business!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Gain?**

Gain by far has the best approval processes out of any social media management platform I've used. It's also connected to just about every social media platform, and has plenty of easy work-arounds for those it does not support yet.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

The lack of a full mobile application is a pain point I have with Gain. Many social media managers work on the go, and though I can use Gain in my mobile browser, I'd appreciate being able to use an app for more than just posting content manually.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working for an agency, Gain allows my internal team and our clients to have full visibility into the content life cycle and makes it easy to collaborate on content and get things approved in one central location.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Gain! It's fantastic to know that you find our approval workflows top-notch. Gain was created for agencies like yours, so we're thrilled to learn we're helping you streamline your workflow.

We hear you loud and clear regarding the mobile app! While we currently offer an optimized mobile browser experience, we recognize the importance of a full-fledged mobile app. We will pass along your feedback to the Product team. Once again, big thanks for your support.

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 50. Gain - Good for Basic Social Media Management

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Gain?**

I like that Gain was easy to use. It was very simple in terms of format, and was easy to understand how to use it. It's good for simply approving social content.

**What do you dislike about Gain?**

It's not ideal for uploading social content, and it's not the most extensive. Working at a marketing agency with numerous social clients, it's not very all-encompassing when it comes to all things social media (creation, uploading, approving, monitoring + engagement, internal comments/conversations, client comments/conversations, client approvals/edits, smart inbox of notifications coming in on the social pages, etc).

**What problems is Gain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not sure what Gain is solving now, but I hope they can make it as extensive and complex almost as Sprout Social. Sprout is more like a one-stop hub for everything social, and I wish Gain was like that. It has basic features to manage social media posts, but not as complex as Sprout.

**Official Response from Deborah Ramirez:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Gain. I am glad you found Gain easy to use and straightforward. Your feedback reinforces our commitment to delivering a solution that aligns with the evolving demands of marketing agencies. We appreciate your suggestions and will consider them as we iterate and innovate with Gain. Once again, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback!
