"Centralized Outreach Sequences and Lead Context That Keeps Our Team Aligned"
4/5
What do you like best about Breakcold?

I love Breakcold because it ties all our outreach sequences, prospect email threads and lead notes into one single view, so our advisors can quickly see where every prospect stands, instead of hunting across scattered inboxes and separate spreadsheets. Before we started using Breakcold, we sent prospect outreach emails from our regular business mailboxes, and each advisor kept their own handwritten notes about CPA referrals, prospect timelines and sensitivity around follow‑ups. I still remember that stressful situation with a CPA referral prospect out of Tampa. That prospect told us they were wrapping up a business sale and didn’t want any outreach for six weeks while they sorted paperwork. Our advisor jotted that down only in their personal notebook and never logged it anywhere shared. A few weeks later, our scheduled outreach email went out automatically, and the prospect was annoyed we hadn’t respected their pause request. They pulled back and decided to shop with another advisory firm. That lost opportunity made me realize we needed a tool that centralizes lead context and keeps follow‑up rules visible to the whole team.

What I appreciate most is how it brings cold email sequences, tracking and lead profile notes together in one workspace. I can drop custom tags for referral source, prospect timeline, compliance review status, and outreach pause flags. After that Tampa prospect mix‑up, I moved all our referral lead outreach over to Breakcold. Now whenever a prospect tells us to slow down communications or shares a specific financial milestone they’re working through, I add that note right to their profile. Anyone on our team opening the lead can see it immediately, so nobody fires off an email that goes against what the prospect asked for. The sequence editor is straightforward too; I can tweak templates to fit our financial advisory tone, and it shows open and reply status at a glance.

CSV bulk imports save me a lot of time when we get new referral batches from our partner CPAs and attorneys. I upload the lead list, pre-fill their referral context and basic prospect details, so we don’t have to manually build every lead profile one by one. Last month I imported a list of referrals from a local accounting group, and it cut hours of tedious data entry out of my week. Every reply, email open and comment stays attached to the lead profile. If one advisor has to cover another’s outreach while they’re in a client meeting, they can catch up fast without calling around for context.

I also rely on the reminder prompts built into the sequences. Not long ago, a prospect we’d been speaking with said they’d circle back after their tax filing deadline. I paused the sequence and set a reminder for the right date. When the time came, Breakcold flagged them, we sent a thoughtful check‑in email, and they booked a discovery call shortly after. That would’ve easily slipped through with our old system of separate calendars and sticky notes.

We’re a small financial advisory firm, and we don’t have a dedicated marketing team managing fancy outreach platforms. Breakcold fits our workflow perfectly because it’s built for outbound email sequences and lead visibility. It hasn’t taken away all my manual checks, but it stops those avoidable missteps where important prospect boundaries get lost in one person’s private notes. It keeps our outreach consistent, polite and aligned with what each prospect has told us, which matters a lot for building trust in financial services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Breakcold?

Honestly, Breakcold works well for firing off our outbound email sequences, but there are a handful of pain points that keep catching us off guard, and I had an awkward situation with one of our CPA referrals from Tampa that really drove it home. I’d set up a custom sequence for prospects going through a business sale, and I manually adjusted the send delay for that lead to push everything back until after their closing. What I didn’t realize is Breakcold doesn’t lock sequence overrides properly when you bulk edit leads later. When I did a mass update to refresh our lead statuses, it reset that custom delay and the email went out way too early. The prospect was swamped with final sale paperwork and took our message as inconsiderate pushy outreach. They told their CPA they weren’t impressed, and that put our referral partnership in a weird spot for a little while. Now I avoid mass edits on leads with special timing rules, and I have to cross-verify every single overridden lead one by one, which eats up a lot of my time.

I wish the template library had more flexible controls for our regulated financial messaging. We can’t just send casual outreach; every line needs to align with our disclosure requirements. Breakcold doesn’t let me lock certain template sections so advisors can’t edit out mandatory disclaimers. Last month one of our newer advisors tweaked a template and accidentally removed our fiduciary disclosure paragraph before sending. Luckily I caught it from the activity log before the prospect replied, but it made me nervous. It would be huge if there were locked, non-editable blocks for compliance text.

The notification setup is pretty broad too. Whenever a prospect replies or a sequence hits a scheduled send time, the notification floods every team member assigned. We had a prospect reply asking us to stop all outreach temporarily, and the alert went straight to our junior advisor. They didn’t read the full context and replied asking to book a call, which annoyed the prospect further. It would be much better if I could route sensitive replies only to me first for review before anyone else responds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Breakcold Makes LinkedIn + Email Outreach Easy and Organized for Our Agency"
4/5
What do you like best about Breakcold?

As Creative Operations Manager at Northwood Creative Studio, what I love most about Breakcold is how it blends cold outreach and social touchpoints into one simple platform, which fits our graphic design agency perfectly. We work with tons of local businesses and growing brands, and our account team needs an easy way to build relationships with prospects without juggling a dozen separate tools. A lot of outreach platforms feel built for pure sales teams, but Breakcold keeps things flexible enough for creative service outreach.

My favorite feature is the combined LinkedIn and email sequencing. We don’t just blast generic emails; we mix personalized LinkedIn connection requests with tailored email follow-ups. That matters a lot for our agency, since brand and design work relies heavily on building trust first. Last quarter, we ran an outreach campaign targeting small retail businesses that needed brand refreshes. Our account managers set up multi-touch sequences: a LinkedIn connection note, followed by a short email showcasing similar brand projects we’d completed, then a gentle check-in if there was no reply. Breakcold kept all those activities synced in one place, so we could see every interaction with a prospect at a glance.

I also appreciate how easy it is to clean and upload prospect lists. I handle most of our CSV imports, and mapping fields is straightforward. I can tag prospects by industry, company size, and what kind of design service they might need, so our team can segment outreach properly. Since we only have a small shared tech resource instead of a full IT team, I don’t want to spend days learning complicated software or troubleshooting messy integrations. Breakcold’s interface is intuitive, and our account team picked it up really fast without long training sessions.

The activity tracking is another big win. I can pull simple reports to check sequence performance, see which outreach messages get the best response rates, and share those insights with our leadership team. This helps me evaluate whether the tool delivers real ROI and tweak our outreach workflows over time.

Overall, Breakcold makes personalized multi-channel prospecting manageable for our agency. It removes the hassle of switching between email, LinkedIn, and spreadsheets, letting our account team focus on connecting with potential clients instead of managing disjointed outreach tools. What do you dislike about Breakcold?

The most frustrating limitation is its rigid sequence customization. Our outreach is highly personalized; we tailor messaging based on whether a prospect needs a full brand overhaul, social media design packages, or print marketing assets. But Breakcold’s sequence logic is very one-size-fits-all. It doesn’t let us build layered, conditional follow-ups based on prospect industry or service interest. Earlier this month, we ran a dual outreach campaign for local startups and retail brands. I wanted to set separate follow-up triggers for each group, with design-specific portfolio examples matched to their industry. The platform wouldn’t support segmented conditional sequencing, so we had to run two entirely separate campaigns and manually monitor each one. That created extra busywork and messed up our unified lead tracking view.

Another noticeable issue is its lack of team workflow controls tailored for collaborative agency teams. We have multiple account managers running independent outreach campaigns, and Breakcold doesn’t have robust cross-team lead overlap detection. We’ve had multiple instances where two reps unknowingly messaged the same local business prospect within days of each other. It creates unprofessional overlap and forces me to constantly audit lead assignments manually to prevent repetition.

On top of that, Breakcold’s lead tagging system is pretty basic. We rely on detailed tagging to sort prospects by project scope, budget tier, and timeline urgency for our design production pipeline. But its tags are limited in functionality, can’t be batch-edited in bulk, and don’t support nested categories. Every time we finish a large outreach batch, I have to go through each lead one by one to update tags, which slows down our lead qualification and handoff process to our creative team. "Flexible, Integrable, and Effective for CRM"
5/5
What do you like best about Breakcold?

I like how Breakcold is an efficient AI CRM with native artificial intelligence. It gives me a lot of freedom when connecting with various platforms like WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and email, allowing a purchasing journey that makes more sense for our work than being restricted to a single channel. Additionally, I appreciate that it can read messages from different platforms, such as WhatsApp and LinkedIn, which many leading CRMs cannot. This functionality is valuable as it facilitates viewing messages from various channels and identifying important information about contact, company, and business. Also, the setup process was easy thanks to helpful documentation, making the initial experience smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Breakcold?

Sometimes, the data update functions take a while to reflect changes, such as in the value of proposals on the homepage, which can be annoying. These discrepancies are a point of attention, but since Breakcold is a new product that is constantly updating, the development team is super quick to respond to reported bugs, whether via Slack or the platform. "CRM for Social"

What do you like best about Breakcold?

Designed for social selling. Integrates with LinkedIn so you can cut out the general posts and see just posts from people you're interested in interacting with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Breakcold?

I disliked them changing the usage, splitting up my usage limits to include platforms such as Telegram (which I don't use) so I've lost a block of usage previously available to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use. Does what it says on the tin and with great support"
5/5
What do you like best about Breakcold?

It provides a convenient and easy-to-use front end for LinkedIn. It allows you to organize your LinkedIn data the way you want to see it.

Managing your data through a CRM e.g., following leads, their posts and engaging with them is a boon, compared to native LinkedIn where it is a chore. Having everything in one place saves a lot of time and has helped my productivity.

The convenience also encourages me to engage, as I do it as a matter of course

Fantastic support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Breakcold?

Occasionally disconnects from LinkedIn, which I think is down to LI being hard to get along with Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent CRM alternative!"
5/5
What do you like best about Breakcold?

For a long time, I was searching for a CRM to track leads without having to use an overwhelming app with endless options that I would never use. I found Breakcold, and immediately felt connected to the app as it was exactly what I was looking for: a simple, user-friendly CRM that is easy to implement yet very powerful. The best part is the connection that the founder immediately establishes with users; he personally takes the time to address and resolve any situation, no matter how simple. Additionally, they have excellent customer service, and are very active in developing new features that users request. It's worth mentioning that they stick to the roadmap faithfully. It's a tool that I use frequently, as it is also easy to integrate with others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Breakcold?

If I had to mention a downside, it's solely that Breakcold relies on external services like Google, LinkedIn, which sometimes can cause certain bugs due to policy changes or security in their systems (not in Breakcold). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
