We sync ProjectWorks with Xero. Leave, invoices, and payments can only be exported once. If any of these need to be edited in either platform after export, the same change then has to be manually updated in the other platform as well. I love Projectworks for its time tracking and invoicing capabilities. I can easily adjust time codes and assign blocks of time to invoices, as well as adjust billable hours and track budgets. I love that it is web-based and can be accessed anywhere on any device. Resourcing is input intensive and not easy to keep up to date as day-to-day workloads change. As a New Zealand-based company, there's no concept of paid overtime or time off in lieu of overtime (TOIL) integrated into Projectworks, making it difficult to track and report this to Xero. We have to manually calculate TOIL and input this data into Xero. Additionally, the timesheet and time columns are in HH:MM format, but Xero and most other programs use decimal hours. It would be really helpful to have the ability to choose between HH:MM and decimal hours. Also, the ability to send overtime hours or TOIL hours to Xero is needed. I also don't like that the price is going up 17% and we just have to accept that and move on. I can see why it has gone up, I still think it is worth it, I'm still happy. But how many price hikes will I sustain and still be happy? I'm not sure. You should communicate and consult with your userbase for price-hikes well in excess of inflation. I like being able to see our every month financial forecasts quickly and see how our team is being worked and how much time it takes to complete each task.
