Easy Construction Estimating

Easy Construction Estimating (EasyCE) is Windows estimating software built by a contractor, for contractors in any trade. Build each estimate line by line with labor, materials, overhead, and profit, so nothing gets left out or underpriced. Save common groups of items as reusable assemblies, copy a past job to start a new one, and turn out a professional proposal with your own company logo on it automatically. Data can be shared across a network, and your job data always stays yours, even if you stop subscribing. EasyCE comes from the system Gino Graziano used for more than 40 years to run a concrete contracting company that grew to over 700 employees. Try it free for 30 days, fully working, with no credit card required.

Electrical Change Orders

Electrical Change Orders is change order software for electrical contractors. Upload a CCD, ASI, RFI, bulletin or T&M ticket and it pulls the electrical changes against your base scope, builds an itemized takeoff with labor units and a low, likely and high labor range, applies the overhead, profit and sub markup your contract allows, and writes a GC-ready narrative and proposal. You review every line. After the CO goes out, the CO log tracks status, days outstanding and ball-in-court, reminds you to follow up with the GC, and flags approved changes that have not been billed. It also tracks contract notice deadlines, CCD not-to-exceed amounts with 75% and 90% alerts, and phone T&M tickets the GC signs on screen. One plan, every feature, 14-day free trial.

Estim8 Pro

Estimating is the part of the job that eats a contractor's evenings. Estim8 Pro gives those hours back, turning a conversation, a photo, or a full drawing set into a priced, itemized construction takeoff in minutes instead of days. There are three ways to start a job, and the first is unusual: every other AI takeoff tool requires an uploaded drawing before it will do anything. With Estim8 Pro you can describe the work out loud, standing in the driveway or walking the house with the owner, with no plans at all. Supe, the AI superintendent, asks the questions an estimator would and builds the takeoff from your answers. That is how most remodels are actually sold. You can also photograph the plans sheet by sheet from your phone, or upload a complete PDF set, and Estim8 Pro will map the sheet index, read the schedules, and count quantities across the whole project. What comes out is not just a number. Every estimate is priced for your county, with materials, labor, overhead and profit (20% by default) and contingency (10%) already applied and adjustable without rebuilding anything. Full assemblies by trade mean the fasteners, finishes and cross-trade items that get forgotten at closeout are already on the list. And every assumption the software had to make is ranked by the dollars it puts at risk, so you know exactly what to confirm before you send the bid. Then it keeps going where other estimating software stops. Export to PDF, CSV or Excel, or send a proposal the owner signs by email on their phone. On signing, the job gets a schedule of values, the deposit is invoiced automatically, and progress draws are billed as the work completes, with no separate invoicing app. For residential work, deposit limits and statutory contract riders are applied automatically in California, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada and Pennsylvania. Behind it sits a library of 283 building assemblies, 59 trade checklists, and regional pricing across 393 metro areas and all 50 states. Estim8 Pro runs on iOS, Android and the web, in 11 languages including Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic and Russian. It is built for residential and light-commercial contractors, remodelers, custom builders and trade contractors, and especially for the small shops where the person pricing the job is also the person running it. Your first takeoff is free, no card required.

I-Cost

I-Cost is a construction commercial and carbon management platform for UK contractors, estimators and quantity surveyors. Import a client's BOQ from Excel or CSV and turn it into a structured estimate with areas, levels and sub codes, cost and selling rates and target margins. Lock the final estimate for tender and keep revisions under control. From the estimate, send requests for quotation to suppliers, compare their prices side by side and issue numbered purchase orders with delivery notes, invoices and certificates attached. Staff and site operatives log their hours against the same estimate items, with weekly approval. Every estimate line can carry an embodied-carbon factor from the UK ICE database or your own EPD factors, so cost and carbon are measured on the same quantities. Project reports compare estimate against actual cost by area and export to PDF, Word and Excel. Construction-specific roles, project-level access and granular permissions keep the right information with the right people.

INGENIOUS.BUILD

INGENIOUS.BUILD is construction project management software for owners, developers and owner's reps, with general contractors, architects, engineers and trades working in the same platform. It runs a capital project from planning and budgeting through bidding, contracts, construction administration and closeout, with every party's data live in one place: no exports, no email chains. Each company works in its own workspace and shares project data with the others, so owners see budgets, commitments, invoices and approvals as they happen instead of waiting on monthly reports. Owners and developers use it to run portfolios of capital projects, owner's reps use it to manage projects for their clients, and contractors, designers and trades answer RFIs, submit invoices and track changes in the same record. Each module feeds the next, so a number entered once shows up everywhere it matters. Awarded bids become contracts, and when a change order is approved, the budget updates. AIA pay apps come in with lien waivers and retainage tracked, and approvals route by role, amount or workflow type, with every decision recorded. Owners forecast cost at completion and cash flow by period, and compare budgets across projects, programs and sites. Built-in AI for every user, and a native MCP server in Pro. AI reads invoices, drawings, contracts, change orders and budgets and pulls out the details, and email summaries tell you what you missed, daily or weekly. Through MCP, which is included in Pro, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or any MCP-compatible AI can work on the project data shared with you. Core capabilities: - Capital planning, portfolio budgets and cash flow forecasting - Bidding, contracts, change orders, invoices and pay applications - RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications and meeting minutes - Schedules, tasks and risk tracking - Mobile app for daily reports, punch lists and site photos - Integrations with accounting and ERP systems Unlimited projects and unlimited external collaborators, so the whole project team works from the same data.

InstaBid

InstaBid is estimating software for small residential contractors in the United States: the owner-operator with one to ten on the crew who still writes his own bids at the kitchen table after a full day on the job. John Dudley started building it in 2025, after 30 years as a general contractor. He also co-hosts Around the House, a home-improvement radio show heard on 200+ stations with 1M+ weekly reach. Three ways a homeowner gets a bid. All three are priced by the same engine. (1) A short web form on the contractor's own site, in his colors and with his logo. (2) InstaBid 411: the homeowner calls the contractor's own number and walks through the job with a phone agent, or the contractor calls a job in himself from the truck. (3) InstaBid Live: a video walk. "Here's my kitchen: cherry cabinets, tile floor, new sink, move the sink three feet." Either way, by the time the homeowner hangs up and checks their email, the bid is there: a full scope of work, an AI-generated render of the finished project, a contract and a deposit button. From describing the job to a finished, itemized estimate takes under two minutes. An authored catalog, not AI guesses. The cost catalog was written by John from 30 years as a general contractor. Every price was reviewed and decided by a person, and every number is editable, so the contractor can enter his own costs. Your cost, your markup. The engine gives the contractor his real material and labor cost with zero platform markup, from 25,533 real prices across 11 trades: roofing, siding, drywall, painting, flooring, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, cabinets, countertops and whole remodels. Material prices are priced to your ZIP code, or he can plug in his own supplier. Any contractor with an ABC Supply account gets that pricing on every plan, and any other supplier with an API can be connected on request. Labor, materials, multipliers, markup, tax and deposit are all editable. A price he types in wins from then on, enforced in code. When a material price jumps more than 10%, InstaBid holds that line for review instead of quietly billing it. The close. The homeowner can sign, pay the deposit and book a start date on the contractor's Google Calendar without a phone call. The contractor picks how much control he keeps: review-first, trust the engine (the default) or full auto. Change orders are priced at his numbers, approved or declined with no login, and rolled into the job total. Running the job. He installs InstaBid on his phone by scanning a QR code in the app (a web app, no app store). From there he scans receipts and assigns them to a job, and his crew log their hours per job, so every job has its own profit and loss. A client portal gives the homeowner photos, a job diary and a pay-now button. Subs get the scope by SMS and email, and on Crew and Shop their bids come back side by side, cheapest first, without seeing his cost or markup. A built-in CRM tracks quiet bids. Integrates with QuickBooks, HubSpot, ServiceTitan, Zapier, Make and thousands of other apps. Contractors can connect their own supplier accounts, like ABC Supply, with their account and API key, so estimates use their real pricing. Help when you want it. An onboarding assistant walks every new user through setup, and live onboarding with John is open to anyone who asks: embedding the form, calling in with 411, or running a video walk. A chat assistant on the contractor's web form answers homeowners' questions and guides them to fill it out correctly; it never quotes prices, and the contractor can edit the form's questions. In Spanish. Signup, onboarding, dashboard, estimate, PDF and email all run in Spanish, with prices identical to the penny. Change orders are English-only for now. Pricing. Flat and month to month: Solo $99/month for one trade, Crew $249/month for three trades and 3 seats, Shop $499/month for every trade and 5 seats, including whole-remodel estimates, InstaBid 411 and InstaBid Live. 10 days free, no card, no setup fee. InstaBid takes zero percent of the job and never sells leads. Not built for: commercial bidding, blueprint takeoff, or on-premise installs.
