"Great platform to introduce your company to geo marketing"

What do you like best about PlotProjects?

I like the live preview of my notifications, the summary grid, and the google maps integration from where I can easily create geo fences. I love the possibility to get heatmaps and user profiles.

I love the way you can choose a time span and the possibility of override the global start and end dates with those time spans.

Another think I love is that you don't have to wait too long for your campaign to deliver properly so I makes PP one of the best solutions I know.

What do you dislike about PlotProjects?

It was a little bit confusing at the beginning and it happened to me again when PP introduced user profiles. I would prefer some kind of video introduction or a visual aid to discover by myself the new functionalities.

Profile configuration is not easy to understand in the begining

I would like to have a quick access to heatmaps

I fully recommend an introductory session with their customer success managers. They are very kind and they always want to help you.

For me it was a little bit difficult to understand contextual pages and user profiles. I just never got into it and I think it was because of my knowledge on those functionalities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PlotProjects solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main benefit we realized is the possibility to know our customers a lot more that we used before. Knowing their behavior in terms of location profiles was very useful to us. That way we had a very valuable insight of who our customers are and what they may expect from our service.

"Dwell time and cooling off periods are great features"

What do you like best about PlotProjects?

Dwell time is very useful for prompting action once in a venue.

Cooling off periods means that you don't spam with too many notifications.

No complaints about battery life implications.

Helpful guides for getting opt-ins.

Out of all the options this was by far the best. Pricing was a bit high before but they've now made it much more accessible. We're on their growth plan and it has everything we need.

I was really concerned about battery usage causing iOS to advise people to delete our app but this hasn't been the case. It's worked well and we just need to make sure we use it all, as they keep updating the portal with more and more features. When our team is large enough, I'm sure our dedicated data analysts and marketing professionals will have a field day with all that it has to offer - even identifying commuters. What do you dislike about PlotProjects?

Even with their help, getting opt-ins is tricky. And keeping people opted in to both location and notification, when iOS is particularly aggressive with prompting people to not do so. Despite this, PP is still the best geo-fence option I know out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PlotProjects?

Full featured SDK; geofences, beacons, and localized (and context aware) push notifications. This along with ease of setup, dedicated support manager, PLotProjects is the complete solution.

Geolocation is not only essential for our users in App experience, but crucial in completing the shopping funnel; browse, select, visit store, and purchase. There is no going back to pre-PlotProjects.

Custom reports and analytics for our own needs. The team at PlotProjects seamlessly integrated with our S3 layer to deliver analytics in near real time. In addition, the ease of updating our geofences through web-hooks makes maintaining geofences a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PlotProjects solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main problem is tracking the user journey from browsing, to selecting items, to visiting store and making a purchase. The accuracy of locating a user is key to our analytics team when reporting store visits and attribution, and feedback from out clients couldn't be better. The increase in accuracy we have seen from our in house solution to using PlotProjects is far and above our expectations.

In addition, context aware push notifications with custom deep links (into mobile applications) is a must for user experience. Is one thing to know where a user is, but to engage them with not only appropriate messaging, but navigation directly to the source of interest is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease to configure and deploy tool for any geolocalization need you have"

What do you like best about PlotProjects?

It's a full and easy to use platform for geolocalization campaigns that also help us to measure what our users are doing.

We use it to track our users in offline campaigns like in music festivals using geofencing and beacons also.

We went from zero to full deploy in less than a month.

What do you dislike about PlotProjects?

Asking the users for the location permission is something that Apple reviews A LOT, and sometimes is difficult to make them sure why our App need that permission. As nothing in the App appears using maps, they can't recognize that you use localization to give them some service.

Sometimes you need more accuracy in the geofences, but we know that sometimes is something physically impossible, but the team is working to make it better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Don't hesitate to use it... the price/convenience ratio is excellent.

Geolocated experience is important for communication and monitoring of users, it's important to know that we are going to communicate and deliver the best possible message at the exact moment and this tool helps us to do the job better. We improve communication strategies based on the locations of our users, Plot has helped us understand basic things such as where our users live and work based on their algorithm and the permanence of the device in the same area. If we could get a more granular experience in terms of geozones we could improve notification performance and understanding user mobility, 50 meters is too large to be the minimum radius. Sometimes the load of the analytics session and geofeces view takes time to display the information. What do you like best about PlotProjects?

Immediate Customer Support via Slack & Email.

Responsive to requests for unique use cases.

There are some really good features such as Location Based Notifications, A/B Tests, Audiences etc. We haven't utilized them yet. But they look promising. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PlotProjects?

The expectation for accuracy of dwells was higher with utilization of Stop Detection, Home & Work Detection, Accelerometer and Gyroscope. This was our understanding through initial sales conversations. Once we got into details, we realized these features are not necessarily used to increase the accuracy of dwells.
