Zoom Phone consolidates various communication tools into the same platform, ensuring I remain reachable without needing a desk phone. I appreciate the seamless integration with the rest of the Zoom platform, which keeps calling, voicemail, and history all in one place, making it easy to stay organized and responsive. I find features like voicemail transcription helpful in saving time. The ability to switch between devices, like desktop, mobile, or web, makes it easy for me to work wherever I am for the day. I mostly use Zoom Phone for meetings, both one-on-one and group, and it really helps when I'm out and need to join a meeting because I can just open Zoom on my mobile and join from anywhere without needing a laptop. I like the texting feature and the emoji hand-raising feature, and it's really easy to join with a link or code, which is the best part for me. My favorite features are definitely the AI Companion, which is like having a note-taker so I can actually listen, and the Blurred Background setting, which is a lifesaver for hiding a messy kitchen or busy café. Plus, the quick little Reactions are perfect for nodding along without unmuting and causing an echo. I integrate Zoom Phone with CRM platforms like Salesforce and HubSpot for automatic call logging and click-to-dial functionality, which saves a lot of manual data entry for sales and support teams. While I love Zoom Phone, sometimes I wish the mobile app battery drain wasn't so noticeable, especially on long calls. I like that with Zoom Phone, I don't always have to switch on my laptop or desktop. I can just sit on my bed and be comfortable while talking to people I cannot meet physically. A specific feature I love is the ability to edit my background; it doesn't matter if I'm in a formal setting because I can just edit the background, which helps me talk to people without worrying about what I'm doing. The share screen feature is another aspect I enjoy. For instance, when I was showing my student how to access the syllabus and create proper notes using AI, she was confused, and I just shared my screen and showed her what to do, which was really helpful for her. I also find Zoom Phone accessible and easy to use. The initial setup was pretty clear and easy to follow, with no confusing steps, and it didn't take much time. It's been very helpful for me. Additionally, it's really great that I can use Zoom Phone to communicate with people I cannot meet physically, share resources, share my screen, and conduct tuition classes and tests without having to physically visit my students. I think that when people enter a meeting, a notification should pop up with a sound to alert people that someone is trying to enter.
