What is Yardi eMAR? Yardi eMAR is an electronic medication administration record system for senior living communities. It replaces paper medication records with digital workflows that improve medication safety, support regulatory compliance and connect communities directly to pharmacy partners. It is part of the Yardi Senior Living Suite. What does Yardi eMAR do? It gives caregivers the tools to manage medication administration accurately and safely — with alerts, barcode scanning, drug interaction checks and direct pharmacy communication. It reduces the documentation burden associated with paper records. What are the key features of Yardi eMAR? Safety tools include positive resident identification, drug-drug interaction screening, drug-allergy alerts and electronic narcotic count management tracking each shift. Barcode scanning adds a critical medication safety check. Chart alerts notify caregivers of overdue medications automatically. The Yardi Pharmacy Network connects to pharmacy software systems for seamless order and refill management. HL7 connectivity with TELUS Health Kroll supports Canadian pharmacy integration. The Care Stream mobile app supports medication prep, progress notes and charting from iOS and Android devices. Who uses Yardi eMAR? Clinical directors, caregivers and pharmacy partners use Yardi eMAR. It serves assisted living, memory care, CCRC and independent living communities.
