# Which VoIP providers reduce support ticket volume through intelligent call handling based on user reviews?

Looking for input from G2 reviewers and customer support managers, CX leaders, and operations directors in the VoIP Providers category, specifically from support teams where the primary objective is handling the same customer volume with fewer escalations, shorter handle times, and less manual follow-up.

The platforms with the strongest intelligent call handling and ticket reduction evidence:

Aircall: AI agents answer common questions and route callers more efficiently, reducing the workload on human agents and helping customers reach the right destination faster without requiring a live agent for every interaction. The integration with Zendesk and Salesforce is specifically credited for reducing manual ticket creation after calls.

Dialpad: Real-time AI coaching suggestions surfaced to agents during live calls, identifying when a caller expresses frustration, flagging competitor mentions, or prompting the agent to offer a relevant resolution based on the call context, is the ticket reduction mechanism that reduces the likelihood of an unresolved call becoming a follow-up ticket.

CloudTalk: Skills-based routing is described as the ticket volume reduction mechanism that eliminates the handoffs where issue information is lost and customers must re-explain their situation. The callback feature reduces the abandoned call rate that generates follow-up tickets from customers who could not reach an agent on first attempt.

RingCentral: Intelligent IVR with natural language understanding, predictive routing that matches customers to agents based on historical interaction data, and real-time sentiment monitoring are described as the enterprise ticket reduction model for large support operations where the call volume makes manual routing optimisation impractical.

JustCall: The automatic CRM update after each AI-handled call maintains a complete interaction record without requiring an agent touchpoint.

For customer support managers who have deployed intelligent call handling, what was the enquiry category that AI or IVR most successfully deflected from human agents, and what percentage of total inbound volume did that category represent before deflection was introduced?

I’d separate true ticket deflection from simply moving work into the phone channel. If AI or IVR resolves a call but the customer contacts support again about the same issue later, the first interaction wasn’t really deflected. I’d track repeat contact within a defined window alongside ticket volume, especially for the enquiry categories the system claims to resolve automatically.
