## Wring Reviews
 ### 1. Best in class service and great product for saving costs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julius U. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Wring?**

I appreciate is how wring keeps improving. Over a few months they've rolled out new features, and they actually listen to feedback. For example, we suggested some better tagging support and next thing we know, it was there. It feels like they're actively evolving the product with real-world input. That's great for us, because the tool is getting even more useful over time.

**What do you dislike about Wring?**

I can't complain much. If I'm nitpicking it still has more depth on AWS than GCP/Azure. We mainly use AWS so it's okay for now. Also, maybe the UI could handle large enterprisescale data a bit smoother (sometimes the page took a few seconds to load with all our accounts). These are minor though, and likely not an issue for most startups.

**What problems is Wring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

wring is solving our problem of cloud overspending and lack of clarity in cloud invoices. Before, our AWS bill was just a big number and some line items we didn't fully grasp. Now, wring breaks it down and also actively reduces it. This benefits us financially (lower costs = better margins) and operationally because we can forecast cloud spend better. It turned cloud cost from a scary unpredictable expense into a manageable, optimizable line item.

 ### 2. Great service to cut hosting costs!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rubin L. | Initiator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Wring?**

I love that wring saved us from having to build our own cost tools. It's like magic - one day I noticed our bill was lower. wring did that! It's great because it means I can put more time into feature development rather than chasing cost issues.

**What do you dislike about Wring?**

I'm not a huge fan of the UI design, it's a bit utilitarian. It works fine but feels a bit oldschool in look. Also I noticed a couple minor typos in the interface which made me chuckle. Nothing that stops it from working though. Maybe I also wish it had a dark mode for those late-night sessions. Really I'm stretching to find dislikes here.

**What problems is Wring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to ensure we weren't wasting money on cloud resources, and wring does exactly that. The problem it solved was the lack of internal expertise or time to constantly do cost optimization manually. Now we don't worry because wring catches things. The benefit is financial savings, obviously, but also peace of mind for me. I can reallocate budget elsewhere because we aren't overspending on cloud as before

 ### 3. Game Changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marko O. K. | Chief Executive Officer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Wring?**

wring's dashboard is super easy to understand for me. I'm not a tech guru, but I can log in and immediately see where our money is going and how much we're saving. The recommendations make sense and are actionable, which helps when I discuss budget with our CTO. Plus the UI is straightforward, so it's one less thing to stress about.

**What do you dislike about Wring?**

I suppose the only dislike was how it sounded almost unbelievable at first - I was waiting for a catch. It took a bit of convincing internally because "free" sounded like it might come with strings. Also I'd like more finegrained reporting for finance, but that's a minor thing. Overall there's little to dislike.

**What problems is Wring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're a small startup burning through cloud credits, and wring is solving our huge problem of rising AWS costs. The Savings we generate, we can reallocate budget to product development instead of paying massive AWS bills. Basically, wring is prolonging our runway by cutting out the wasted spend, which is a lifesaver for us.

 ### 4. Awesome cost optimization tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrés P. | Fullstack Founding Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Wring?**

wring takes a huge load off my shoulders as an engineer. The best thing is how it automatically handles tasks I used to do manually. It's essentially autopilot for cost optimization, which is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Wring?**

If I had to critique something, the cost data updates once every 24 hours or so (which is normal for cloud billing), but occasionally I'd love an on-demand refresh button just to see the immediate effect after we make changes. It's a tiny detail,l though. Beyond that, any issues I've had were solved quickly by their support, so I don't have lingering dislikes.

**What problems is Wring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

wring addressed the problem of unpredictability in our cloud spending. We used to have surprise overages; now we rarely do because wring's optimizations keep costs stable or even decreasing. This benefits our budgeting process immensely - I can plan with more certainty. It's also solving the transparency issue: I can now clearly see which products or teams are driving costs, and we can have data-driven discussions on those. So wring made our cost management more proactive and data-driven, which is a huge improvement. They also made AWS Fundings for us much more accessible :))

 ### 5. Wring Automatically Decommissions Idle Servers, Tracks Spend, and Delivers Pooled Discounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David A. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Wring?**

The way Wring helps us tag and track spend across teams makes it feel like we’ve finally got real cost control.

**What do you dislike about Wring?**

I honestly struggle to find a downside. If pressed, I'd say maybe wring could provide a bit more education for folks like me. For example, a brief report that explains what a "Savings Plan" or "Reserved Instance" is when showing those savings. I had to Google a couple of terms when I first looked at the dashboard. But I quickly picked it up. This is a very minor point - overall I'm very satisfied.

**What problems is Wring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

wring helps solve the problem of me accidentally wasting resources. As a dev, sometimes I'd spin up a server and forget about it. wring catches that and reminds us or even autodecommissions it if it's idle. It basically prevents stupid mistakes from turning into big bills. This benefits me and the team because we don't get yelled at for surprise AWS charges - wring keeps us in check cost-wise while we develop.

 ### 6. best thing for cost cutting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Domagoj L. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Wring?**

I also like that wring kind of taught us to be more cloudefficient. By seeing what it flags, our team became more mindful. Now when I launch something, I think about cost a bit more (like tagging it or scheduling it off) because I know wring will notice if I don't. It's made us better engineers in that sense, and that's something I really appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Wring?**

ne small dislike is that wring doesn't directly show code-level suggestions (which I realize is not its job, but a dev can dream). Other than that, maybe the learning curve to understand some cloud cost terms was a thing, but I got over it quick by asking around.

**What problems is Wring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company had the problem of using up all those initial cloud credits and then facing huge bills with no strategy to reduce them. wring came at the right time to curb that. It's solving cost management in the cloud for us. The benefit is straightforward: we save money, and I can confidently tell our investors that we're controlling our cloud spend. Also, it saves me from pushing the engineers too much to find savings - wring takes care of a lot of it automatically, which is much more efficient.

 ### 7. Fantastic tool for cost cutting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zak B. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Wring?**

One thing I really liked - they had someone in Europe we could talk to directly, made everything way easier than dealing with US-based support all the time.

**What do you dislike about Wring?**

If pressed to find something to dislike, I'd say the focus is mainly on AWS (understandably). We have a bit of Azure usage that wring hasn't impacted much yet. But that's a minor thing since AWS is our main expense. Also, a more detailed glossary or FAQs in the app for some of the cloud jargon would help folks like me, but I managed fine with a little help. Honestly, I'm reaching - wring has been very positive for us.

**What problems is Wring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wring is solving our AWS cost problem. We were just burning money on unused stuff without even noticing. Now we save monthly and didn’t need to hire a FinOps person to figure it all out.

 ### 8. Gives you Wrings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiberius T. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Wring?**

We never had any billing surprises since switching to Wring - the transparency and breakdowns are so much better. Also the credits they organised for us were a great help.

**What do you dislike about Wring?**

I honestly haven't found much to dislike with wring. Maybe if I'm being very picky, I'd say I want more educational content in-app for some of the technical savings it does, just so I can understand and explain them better. But whenever I had a question, their team answered it. So it's not even a dislike, more of a nice-to-have. wring has been extremely positive overall.

**What problems is Wring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring a full-time FinOps engineer was out of budget. Wring basically gave us that – for free. It continuously optimizes our spend and even handled AWS Credits paperwork, which saved us a ton of time and money

 ### 9. How Wring has saved my startup in cloud costs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Wring?**

We are a pretty data intensive startup and I got referred to Wring by a good friend of mine
I love that wring's monetization aligns with our interests (keeping things lean). 100% of their revenue comes from cloud providers , not from us, which means they're incentivized to save us money without charging us a dime. As a revenue (and sometime finance) lead, that alignment and the zero-cost model are incredible. It's basically free money for us. I highly recommend it for any AWS cost cutting needs.

**What do you dislike about Wring?**

The UI is not as great as the rest of the product but I guess it is just a matter of time till that one is solved too

**What problems is Wring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We saved cloud fees we would’ve never saved without it, we used to be connected to these providers but never got the support we needed and sort of just racked more services and more service on. Wring caught underused resources and optimized them. It also connected us to AWS funding we would’ve missed – that’s huge for a startup like us.

 ### 10. Multi Cloud + Easy Setup!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David N. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Wring?**

I like that Wring just works out of the box, no steep learning curve or messy onboarding like we had with our last tool.
What do you dislike about Wring?
Multi Cloud. Absolutly Multi Cloud. Connecting our other Providers like IBM or Oracle would be great to have one point of truth.

**What do you dislike about Wring?**

Can't think of one - functionality is given in every aspect.

**What problems is Wring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wring replaced what would’ve been a part-time job in our team. It automatically finds savings and helped us get AWS credits we didn’t think we’d qualify for. Also: the team is super responsive on Slack and really knows what they’re doing.
