## WP Statistics Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless Integration, Privacy-Focused Analytics

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Goldrick A. | Education Web Platform Manager, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about WP Statistics?**

I use WP Statistics to oversee and analyze traffic across our education management WordPress websites and online platforms. I appreciate that it solves everyday problems by eliminating the need for complicated external analytics tools since it runs directly inside WordPress. It provides clear visibility into how our course and enrollment pages perform, letting me plan enrollment campaigns and schedule promotions effectively. Its core features—like integration into WordPress, immediate data access without external tools, and simple report layouts—fit seamlessly into my workflow. I love how lightweight and straightforward it is, as it doesn't slow down our site and keeps data locally for privacy compliance. The ease of setup without complex configurations and being able to gather practical traffic insights all contribute to improving our platform’s reach and user engagement.

**What do you dislike about WP Statistics?**

For one thing, its analytics only cover the most basic traffic data. It’s fine for checking simple visitor numbers and which pages get viewed most, but it doesn’t track a full user browsing path at all. I can’t follow how someone lands on our enrollment page, browses course content, and then leaves halfway through. There’s no clear drop-off analysis, so I can’t really tell which part of our platform is making potential students lose interest. It also doesn’t give refined visitor demographic details or let me group traffic by different user types, which makes it hard for me to adjust our course content and promotion plans more accurately. Then there’s the reporting side of things. The plugin doesn’t let me customize reports freely, and there’s no option to set up automatic scheduled reports sent straight to our team. Every time we need to review monthly or quarterly website performance, I have to manually go into the dashboard, note down data, and sort everything out myself. It’s repetitive and eats up extra time. What’s more, there’s no built-in way to compare traffic from month to month or year to year. If I want to see growth or decline trends, I have to export all the data and organize it outside the plugin.

**What problems is WP Statistics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WP Statistics simplifies monitoring site traffic by working directly in WordPress, saving me from using complex external tools. It gives clear visibility into page performance, helping refine content. The lightweight plugin keeps data local for privacy and speeds up decision-making.

  ### 2. WP Statistics: Easy to Use but Can Slow Down Your Site

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arunkumar s. | Head of Marketing, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about WP Statistics?**

WP Statistics stands out for its excellent ease of use and straightforward implementation, thanks to its smooth integration within the WordPress dashboard. This convenience encourages me to use it regularly. The plugin provides a solid set of core analytics features, which I find sufficient for basic tracking needs. However, a significant drawback is that it can slow down your website because it writes data directly to your database. Additionally, it does not offer the advanced tracking capabilities found in specialized analytics platforms, and its customer support, which is primarily forum-based, can sometimes be slow to respond.

**What do you dislike about WP Statistics?**

This tool can cause your website to run more slowly by adding unnecessary data to the database, and it also does not offer advanced tracking features.

**What problems is WP Statistics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WP Statistics solves the problem of data privacy by keeping analytics on my server, giving me full data ownership and simplifying GDPR compliance. This benefits me by providing essential insights directly within my WordPress dashboard, saving time and eliminating the need to rely on external third-party services.
