What do you like best about Workstreet?

What I appreciate most about Workstreet is its seamless integration with Vanta, which has been a major advantage for our startup. Their team brings deep experience across a wide range of security frameworks, and they handle policy development, documentation, and third-party attestations—HIPAA, GDPR, and more—all in one place. This eliminates the need to juggle multiple auditors or vendors. I also value their communication style: they stay engaged through asynchronous channels like Slack and schedule live exercises exactly when I need them. Their respect for my time and ability to work at a variable pace as security matters are more or less urgent make them exceptionally easy to partner with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workstreet?

What do you like best about Workstreet?

What do you dislike about Workstreet?

We had a 6-month engagement where we were actively building for around a week.

Once our 6-month engagement expired, we were still contractually owed a penetration test and audit, which they acknowledged. Unfortunately, they refused to answer a basic question about the process, e.g. "what is the scope of the pen test", without agreeing to an extension of the agreement.

Their website lacks sufficient details and no docs that were provided answered the most basic question.

Interestingly, I posed as a new customer and asked the same question to their sales person and was provided answers immediately.

I can understand needing an engagement to respond to detail oriented questions unique to our situation, but withholding an answer to a basic question about scope that should be addressed on the website felt frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workstreet?

What do you like best about Workstreet?

I'm not a compliance expert, and so I have a lot of questions. Having Workstreet there to support us and make sure that our policies and procedures were not only in-line to pass the tests in Vanta/the audit but also to help us make sure we were doing the right things for our business and customers was super-valuable. They are also experts in Vanta, which was helpful. All of that meant that when starting a company, I didn't have to become an expert in compliance, but can instead focus on my company, product, customers while keeping user data safe. What do you dislike about Workstreet?

Not a lot of downsides. I did end up getting automated alerts from Vanta as well as alerts from Workstreet for the same things (which can be a bit annoying), but I found myself relying more on Workstreet, as they had more context about what we were doing, and I can have a conversation about the alerts with Workstreet - I can't do that with an automated slack message Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workstreet?

Workstreet made the entire SOC 2 process clear and manageable. They broke down complex compliance requirements into practical steps, gave us templates and frameworks we could actually use, and were always quick to answer questions. One of the most impactful aspects of our experience was Workstreet’s virtual CISO program. As a small company, hiring a full-time CISO wasn’t feasible—but through their fractional CISO service, we were able to implement enterprise-grade security practices from the start. What do you like best about Workstreet?

The responsiveness and willingness to engage with internal and external contacts were extremely beneficial with the small size of our ISMS team. Not only did Workstreet help us with audit preparation, but they also assisted in evidence collection during the audit and even engaged with our auditor to support this evidence. What do you like best about Workstreet?

Ease of communicaiton - they set up a slack channel which makes getting in touch with them incredibly easy, it's like chatting with a direct team member. I can easily get them on the phone and they answer all questions quckly and thoroughly. Every team member I have interacted with from our direct account manager to their finance team works like this.
