I've been using this platform for a while now. Not only does it work seamlessly, but the customer service is top-notch. Any time I've had a question or an issue, they've been incredibly responsive and helpful.

It's nitpicking at a high level, but the platform could be made a bit more intuitive.

We didn't have any CSM for our company, which was quite chaotic at the beginning of our work together. We felt little support given in the first instance.

I also had some questions/requests that were resolved within hours through their helpdesk ticketing system.

It's a platform, that is okish to navigate.

We've been working with them for 6 months now. Every invoice we received was incorrect, their teams point at each other, my employees have to pay too much tax and we're still non the wiser.

At first, everything was smoothly handled.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Unfortunately, the nightmare started after requesting support. For countries that have high volatility on FX rates, Workmotion does not provide any support and it causes lost money. They work with third-party entities in Turkey and that entity does not care about anything related to money. The second thing is expenses. They managed it really badly and I had to pay double taxes and Workmotion didn't take any responsibility for this.

They assume they are an EOR company, but should work on it longer. No benefits.

**What do you like best about WorkMotion?**

I used WorkMotion to relocate from Germany to Malta and keep working remotely for my German employer. The process of switching from a German contract to a Maltese contract was easy and straightforward.

WorkMotion works with a local EOR partner in Malta to ensure that everything is done according to local employment laws, whilst also ensuring that company policies from the host (where the local laws permit) are maintained. WorkMotion also offers country-based employment guides for an overview of local employment laws and legislation.

Overall, I can recommend WorkMotion as a great remote working solution, and to hire the best talent from almost any country worldwide without the need for a local entity.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Unfortunately, the communication regarding the new employment contract as well as local labor rules and regulations was inefficient and slow. This delayed the onboarding process. The issue was that there are many entities involved in the communication process including the hired employee, WorkMotion's onboarding specialist, the hosting company, and the local partner in the country of employment. Answers regarding specific questions were also ambiguous and required further clarification, which further delayed the onboarding process. This is an area that needs improvement.

A solution to hire the best talent from almost any country worldwide without the need for a local entity.

We liked WorkMotion's software platform, it's intuative design and helpful features.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Our team has had a very difficult time dealing with this EOR provider. WorkMotion relies on various local vendors like GoGlobal to faciliate their local employment, which over-complicates the process. Their customer service is either slow to respond or unresponsive. Furthermore, there have been delays in salary disbursements, even though we consistently pay our invoices to WorkMotion promptly.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our aim was to utilize an EOR (Employer of Record) that would allow us to recruit and onboard employees irrespective of their location. Although the concept was appealing and their sales representative made numerous assurances, the reality has been challenging. In hindsight, we would have preferred an EOR that manages its own entities and places less emphasis on its software.

Excellent and smooth experience on an HR platform where the expectations are more than fulfilled, and features are easy to find and use, allowing employees to handle any HR-related topic (holidays, payslips, profile information, etc.) remotely from anywhere.

Maybe a native mobile app that allows employees to reduce the time to request vacations or to access documents from their pocket could slightly improve the user experience

Being the HR platform that enables remote work is not just a benefit for me; it is a life changer. 
Moreover, supporting the employees with all the needed features and help, like the excellent and customized onboarding process, which was a great initial contact.

Great interface which facilitates the work and takes it to the simplest level. I have worked with other software, which made everything harder; here, you will find a platform that helps.

I have not found any cons for this product yet. Everything works as it should, and the user experience is excellent. Willing to use it more and more and grateful.

It is serving as Human Resources for my new company, from there I can see all the conditions of my contract and the vacation status, among others. It serves as a whole HR platform.

WorkDirect pitch sounds good. It's differentiated.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

1. The CS team does not answer at all if you do not escalate. Even they do not answer within a week.
2. The CS team does not actually resolve your problems to get staff payroll process working. In fact it seems they just do not care if you actually get your staff paid or not.
3. Consequently, I have missed payroll now TWICE. We were not able to get staff paid in June. We were also not able to get staff paid in July. And now 29 August looks like we are missing August payroll too. And from my point of view they do not care or help.

**What problems is WorkMotion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They do not solve any problem at the present. They cause problems by setting expectation that you can get staff paid, but it does not do it. This review only concerns the WorkDirect model offered; other option I have not tried.

Wormotion software made signing my remote contract extremely smooth. All functions to upload data and information worked perfectly, both on computer and my smartphone. When I needed help, I received very fast replies to my questions. Would highly recommend the software.

I didn't encounter any, because everything worked extremely smoothly. I also really appreciated the intuitive design.

We recently started working with Workmotion (using Workflex) and so far we are very pleased with how much easier our Mobile Office abroad requests can be reviewed now. System is super simple and easy to use. Helps us out a lot as we definitely want to offer our employees the flexibility to work from abroad but at the same time obviously need to be compliant as well.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Getting the correct documents in order to be data security compliant was a bit of a challenge here in Germany. Once we had everything we needed in place though, the launch etc. went very smoothly.

It helps us to be able to have our employees work from abroad while being compliant and safe from a tax, social security, labor law and data security standpoint.

The idea that businesses can be supported to expand to EU and be supported with all staffing matters.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Their communication has been poor, their response is to queries is delayed and they do not respond in full, nor have they provided full information upfront. The goalposts keep changing as they adjust their requirements, which has been an extremely lengthy and frustrating experience. 
Their customer service is poor.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkMotion:**

Make sure you have got a comprehensive, full project plan of all requirements from WorkMotion prior to engaging them

The software was easy to use, the onboarding process went quite smoothly and WorkMotion staff were very helpful and responsive.

**What do you dislike about WorkMotion?**

Nothing significant. It would be nicer if they did the local law compliance check faster. However, it did not take too long either so I hope they can improve further.

Being able to work remotely and super easy onboarding process. It saved costs and time for both my company and myself, considering that we did not have to deal directly with local recruitment law.

The account executive supported us super fast with all our questions regarding local laws and policies. The transition was smooth. The platform was easy to use. They are professional and have shown great customer service.

Great experience so far. We have some qualified candidates that we wanted to hire in UK/Spain where we don't have a legal entity and WorkMotion helped us onboard them quickly and manage all painful - related HR administration tasks.

No issue so far. Still have room for the platform to develop but they're working to launch new features and we're looking forward to it!
