**What do you like best about Whali?**

Whali is the first AI cold email software I’ve tried that genuinely understands what students need. I uploaded my CV, and within minutes it had parsed my experience and started generating personalised cold emails tailored to each recipient. The cold email automation takes care of everything, from the initial outreach to automated follow-up emails on a schedule I set.

What really stands out is the email personalisation AI. It doesn’t just swap in a name and company; it references the recipient’s role, their team’s focus, and recent company activity. I tried three other cold email tools before this, and none of them came close to this level of personalisation.

**What do you dislike about Whali?**

I’d like an option to A/B test different subject lines directly within the platform. At the moment, I have to create and manage the variants manually. Also, the onboarding could do a better job of explaining the credit system upfront, so it’s clear from day one exactly how many credits you have and what you’re working with.

**What problems is Whali solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I spent an entire term applying to investment banking internships through online portals and got nowhere. After that, I switched to cold emailing for internships using Whali, and the results were immediate. I sent 35 personalised outreach emails to VPs and Directors at mid-market banks, which led to 9 replies, 4 conversations, and a summer analyst internship secured within two weeks.

The automated follow-ups were critical, because 6 of those 9 replies came only after the second or third email. Without Whali’s cold email automation managing that process, I would have lost track and probably wouldn’t have followed up consistently. This is, hands down, the most effective internship outreach tool I’ve used.

**What do you like best about Whali?**

The depth of the lead enrichment is what sets it apart from other cold email tools. Before Whali, I was manually researching people on LinkedIn and writing each email from scratch. Now I can search 275 million profiles, pick the ones I want to reach, and the AI writes emails that actually reference their career path and recent activity. The automated follow-ups are a game-changer, most of my replies came on the second or third email. Integration with my Outlook account was seamless and setting up my account was easy and intuitive. There is also a lot of free material to use, including the cold email guides, which outline how to successfully write cold emails and navigate follow-ups. The support team promptly got back to me within an hour of my enquiry about optimising my profile preferences. I use this tool daily, thanks to its inbuilt inbox which shows stats on deliverability and open rates.

**What do you dislike about Whali?**

The lead search filters are powerful but I'd love to see a saved search feature so I don't have to re-enter criteria each time. It would be great to speed up the enrichment speed. Both of these improvements would streamline the outreach process even further.

**What problems is Whali solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building a professional network used to take months of LinkedIn messaging and attending networking events with low response rates. Whali solved this by letting me send personalised cold outreach at scale. Each email references something specific about the recipient's background, so people actually reply thinking I spent time researching them. It's completely changed how I approach networking and job searching.
