# What are the top machine translation software options for ecommerce companies trying to localize their product catalog and marketing content into multiple languages at scale?

I'm looking into the top machine translation software options for ecommerce companies trying to localize their product catalog and marketing content into multiple languages at scale. Product catalog translation is high-volume and structured, while marketing copy needs to feel natural in each market, and different tools tend to serve each need differently. I found several options that reviewers from retail and consumer-facing teams mention: Localize installs via a single JavaScript snippet, automatically detects new content on a page, and serves translations from a CDN. It includes a non-technical dashboard for editors to review and override translations without touching code. Unbabel combines AI translation with human editors, which reviewers from consumer brands say produces more natural results for marketing content. It integrates into Zendesk and Salesforce for teams that also need multilingual customer support coverage. Phrase provides centralized translation management with translation memory and term bases for brand vocabulary consistency across a large catalog. It connects to Figma, which reviewers in ecommerce design workflows mention as useful for translating assets within the design process. DeepL Translate is consistently cited for natural-sounding output, particularly for European languages, and supports glossaries for consistent product naming across a catalog. Rask AI focuses on video translation and dubbing, supporting 130+ languages with voice cloning that preserves speaker tone across markets. Reviewers using it for product explainer videos say accuracy and export speed are strong. What's your experience localizing ecommerce content at scale? Have you found a combination of tools that handles both the high-volume catalog work and the tone-sensitive marketing copy, or did you end up with different tools for each?

<p>I keep running into this same tension. Catalog stuff wants to auto-retranslate the second a SKU or price changes, but marketing copy needs someone to actually read it before it ships. Same MT engine underneath, but you end up needing two completely different triggers for it. Has anyone actually wired the catalog side to update itself (CMS sync, webhooks, whatever) while still keeping a human gate on the marketing side, or is that split just two separate tools duct-taped together for most people?</p>
