The Webconnex/WePay platform requests multiple documents for verification purposes, to which I uploaded more than what was requested including passport, driver's license, original articles of incorporation, business license, and tax form. We have been going back and forth for more than a month now, and now, they are requesting an official letter from the IRS with a nice note at the bottom of their email that reads, "Please complete this step within 30 days, or your WePay Payments account will be disabled and WePay Payments may refund all payments to your payers." I would have to pay for this letter, and also request it by mail, and wait for it by mail. I refuse to pay for a letter that was not originally required and after submitting multiple verification documents via their platform, plus the IRS can take several weeks to months to process requests. Also note that you cannot reach anyone by phone, only through their messaging system, which one associate named Holly said, "I do apologize as we are not equipped to offer phone support, all communication is completed via email."
