# Mixpanel vs Amplitude vs Pendo for a growth-stage SaaS team deciding which product analytics platform to standardize on before they scale?

These three aren't really the same shape, which is what makes the head-to-head awkward. Mixpanel and Amplitude are deep behavioral analytics, Pendo bundles lighter analytics with in-app guides and onboarding. So the fork is whether you want the strongest read on behavior, or you also want to act inside the product with walkthroughs without shipping code. Pure analytics, it comes down to how deep you need to go. If in-app guidance matters, Pendo pulls ahead. What's the actual job you're standardizing around?
