What I like best about Vonage Business Communications is how reliable and flexible it feels for day-to-day business communication. Switching between calls, messages, and video meetings is smooth, and the mobile app makes it easy to stay connected even while working remotely or traveling. It’s simple enough for teams to adopt quickly without much training.

**What do you dislike about Vonage Business Communications?**

One thing I dislike about Vonage Business Communications is that the desktop app can occasionally feel a little slow when handling multiple conversations or calls at once. Also, some advanced settings take time to explore if you’re new to the platform, but overall the experience is still solid once everything is set up properly.

It has also helped reduce missed communications while supporting a more flexible remote work setup.

Sales staff was polite,  attentive and willing to say almost anything to get my business. .

**What do you dislike about Vonage Business Communications?**

The experience was among the worst I've ever had.  They left us without business phones for 10 days after the number port began. I immediately switched to another vendor.

**What problems is Vonage Business Communications solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I own 3 small businesses and have been using T-Mobile Digits, which is generally pretty awful as it is not a true business system.  I finally got fed up and went to Vonage, who I used years ago for a residential line.  It was an absolute disaster.   They issued 3 temporary numbers and I initiated the porting of the three numbers for my businesses.  About a week later, 2 of the numbers went completely dead.  No message, no warning, just dead.  I inquired and, now that I was a customer, rather than getting the US sales team, I got some kind of overseas call center.  They barely spoke english and they had no clue.  Later, I got an email stating that it would be 3-5 days before the ported lines would be active.  This is absolutely not what the sales team told me.  During the time that these phones were off, I was getting no business and that was costing me money.   I called every day to try to get status and every day got the same answer that the lines would be turned up within a day or so.  it took 10 days for Vonage to turn on the ported numbers AFTER they received them.  And they only ported 2 of the 3, the third number was still on at T-Mobile all this time.  Then I got into the management tools.  I specifically asked if I would be able to use certain features, like hunt groups, and the sales rep said yes.  Turns out, several of the features I specifically asked about were only available for an extra charge.  That was it.  I called Ooma, who I had also used in the past, signed up with them and requested the numbers at Vonage be ported over.  Took Ooma 2 days to port the numbers and they were on.  I called Vonage, told them how dissatisfied I was with them, and cancelled the account.  The person on the phone was very apologetic and told me there would be no charge for the Vonage service.  Ok, that was nice.  I got one invoice from Vonage and it clearly showed the charges and the credit memo bringing the amount due to 0.     2 months later, I started getting calls from a collection agency.  They said I owed Vonage $80 for the one month of service that I had with them. (Keep in mind that it took several weeks to get the numbers ported and I had no use for and never used the temporary numbers that Vonage provided.)  I sent the invoice showing the balance was zero to the collection agency and they claimed that it said zero because it went to collections.  Who sends a 2 month old invoice to collections?    When I called Vonage, nobody knew what to do.  This was almost a year ago.  Every month I got a call from a  collection agency and every time I called Vonage, nobody could help me.  I finally got the email address for the department responsible for past due accounts.  I sent them the invoice showing a balance of zero and carefully explained the problem. The response I got back most recently was unbelievable.  They said that, even though the rep may have said I would not be charged, I cancelled on the 15th of the month and customers are billed on the 13th of the month so I owed for an extra month.  I never even used the service and I clearly only ever had one invoice showing a balance of zero.  I am still going back and forth with them on this.  AVOID VONAGE!  THEY ARE AN AWFUL VOIP COMPANY!

**What do you like best about Vonage Business Communications?**

What I like best about Vonage Business Communications is its reliability and flexibility for daily business use. In my role as a Business Development Manager in a US staffing environment, I rely heavily on consistent outbound and inbound calling, and Vonage has provided stable call quality with minimal disruptions.

The platform is very user-friendly, especially the desktop and mobile apps, which allow me to stay connected even when I’m not at my desk. Features like call forwarding, voicemail-to-email, and easy call management have helped improve my productivity and ensure I never miss important client or candidate calls.

Another major advantage is the ability to manage communication across different time zones, which is critical for working with US clients from India. Overall, it has streamlined our communication process and made remote work much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Vonage Business Communications?**

One of the main drawbacks of Vonage Business Communications is that call quality can occasionally fluctuate, especially during peak hours or with weaker internet connections. While it works well most of the time, even small disruptions can impact productivity in a role that depends heavily on consistent client communication.

Another area for improvement is the user interface, which can feel slightly outdated and less intuitive compared to some newer communication platforms. Certain settings and features take extra time to locate, especially for new users.

Additionally, the mobile app, while useful, can sometimes lag or have minor performance issues, particularly when handling multiple calls or switching between features.

Overall, while the platform is reliable for daily operations, there is definitely room for improvement in terms of performance consistency and user experience.

Vonage Business Communications solves the challenge of managing reliable and scalable business communication, especially for teams working across different locations and time zones. In my role in a US staffing environment, consistent communication with clients and candidates is critical, and Vonage provides a centralized platform to handle both inbound and outbound calls efficiently.

It eliminates the need for traditional phone systems by offering a cloud-based solution, which allows our team to work remotely without any disruption. Text messages does not provide read notifications. There is no way to know if the message has been read by the receiver or not.

Transferring calls between the desktop and mobile versions often doesn't work as smoothly as it should. It would be much more convenient if the app or software displayed the number of calls made directly within the app, instead of requiring users to visit the website for reports. You can call to USA and Canada at anytime, even if you´re working remotley or having vacations with no issues at all.

What I don´t like is that sometimes the signal got loss even if you´re having a good connection but works most of the times pertfetly.

There´s no need to get a cellphone with a sim card or buy a expensive mobile datas from your local country, only create a corporative user and call.

I have been using Vonage at Pinnacle Technology to connect with candidates in United States as well as for internal group chats or call. As per my experience with other similar tools, i found Vonage is awesome to use as it is very easy to set up and use. second, the mobile app is genuinely awesome and you can use it anytime & anywhere. It has multiple features added which gives you all things in a single platform.

Vonage offers one best features among others that we can keep a check on our daily number of calls and segregates them in proper categories and also tells about your talk time.

Least helpful feature in Vonage is that when a incoming call appears it does not allows us to copy the number. Sometimes there are no name on numbers and it will make things easy if we can copy those numbers and search them in our database to find who is calling.

EASY to use, admin interface includes all items logs naturally, easy to swap phones and configure user accounts. The texting just worked, and was simple.

the customer support was lackluster and it was a separate product- causing it to ultimately be too expensive for us to use and go for a more integrated solution. The texting doesnt include campaign messaging, so this was a feature we wanted to have as well.

Ease to use and best voip service communicate globally, As I am in IT recruitment It helps me a lot to communicate to candidates and Clients. I use daily due my current work profile as I need to contact to my connections through texting, video meetings also with good customer service support.

Sometimes faces latency issue, could not edit the text in case of any error .

The least I found from Vonage was that sometimes their integration would fail and not record the phone calls in EzLynx, which made it hard to audit my team's performance

My phone calls, inbound and outbound calls were my main activity at work and so vonage would let me dial out at any time to any of my clients.

One of the challenges of being an administrator for a small company is that any change you make can have a significant impact, either positive or negative, with long-lasting repercussions. My company had been using the same call-center model and technology for the past ten years and was in desperate need of modernization.

When we reached out to Vonage, we were extremely impressed with the communication and dedication of their sales staff, which ultimately led us to choose Vonage.

The support didn't stop there. We were assigned a Project Manager, Roosevelt, who stayed with us from the moment the agreement was signed all the way through to our launch.

One of the most impressive moments was when Roosevelt had us configure our future production environment in a training class style, making it incredibly easy to understand the platform.

Roosevelt was present throughout the entire "Go-Live" day, and his dedication ensured that we had a near-flawless launch experience.

All in all, after a year of sales, technical design, discussions, and project management, the launch of a call center supporting over 90,000 customers was completed in just a couple of hours with no downtime or impact on our partners or their subscribers.

You couldn't ask for a smoother transition from an on-premise call center to Vonage's cloud call center. I wish all my projects were this smooth and had vendors that were this easy to communicate and work with.

I have nothing negative to say about sales or support staff.   There are some some bugs in the software that require some workarounds but i'm confidient that support will get them fixed.

The chat system seems like it is in its infancy, missing some features that are found in other solutions but i'm cofident that has the product develops that these features will be added.

We are a small company, with very few employees.   This product allows us to deliver a enterprise-grade solution without the cost of managing hardware, software or needing extra personnel to administer the solution.

I love that vonage does all of the things that you need it to do - in the sense of calling, hold, mute/hold and answer, transferring blind or even to voicemail, text messages and more. It seems to be able to do everything I can think would be needed from the phone system.

I dislike that sometimes the phone has a weird connection and will either delay in alerting me of a call coming through OR the call will not come through at all, I look down and have a missed call. I've had to reach out to support about this several times, thankfully they've been super helpful/

Implemention or deployement of devices are also amazing.
I am using it very frequently may be 30-40 times a day.

Recently we are having issues with their texting system becuase of some compliance parts but their team is actively working on this come over it.
