've been using Velixo for our financial reporting and it's honestly changed the way our finance team works. The integration with Sage is seamless — data flows directly into Excel without the manual exports and copy-pasting we used to deal with, which saves us hours every month. What I love most is the flexibility to construct my own reports exactly the way I want them. Instead of being boxed into rigid, pre-built templates, I can design reports that actually match how our business thinks about its numbers — pulling in the right accounts, dimensions, and periods without fighting the software to get there. My main wish is that it were a bit more user-friendly out of the box. The formulas can take some time to get comfortable with, and I'd love to see a wider library of ready-made templates to start from rather than building everything from scratch. A gentler learning curve would make it much easier to onboard new team members. Still, once you get past the initial learning curve, the payoff in flexibility and time saved is well worth it. If you're on Sage and want reporting that can actually be shaped to your needs, Velixo is worth a serious look — just budget some time to learn the formula syntax. That tradeoff is worth it for you today, but it does mean day one for a new team member is steeper than it should be, and that's the part we're actively working on. A few things that might help in the meantime. The template library at velixo.com/templates exists for exactly the "don't start from a blank sheet" problem, and it keeps growing. Velixo Academy is free for every user at learning.velixo.com, which is a considerably better way to onboard someone than handing them a working file and hoping. The most helpful feature of Velixo, so far, has been the ability for me to pull data from Sage Intacct specifically using the dimensions feature. In our industry, it is critical to be able to split our financial data by very specific departments. A task that is doable but cumbersome in Sage Intacct is now simple and easy for our team. Once you get past the learning curve, Velixo makes it easy to pull data from Acumatica using Generic Inquiries. I find it incredibly handy that the data is in Excel for easy adjustments and formatting. I can't stress enough how well Velixo integrates with Excel. I've created macros that run on top of Velixo to generate batch reports with a click of a button. There is a bit of a learning curve. Velixo has good documentation and templates to help but it can take some getting used to. Like any other Excel function, the syntax is very specific. You also need to know where to find the data you are looking for. The best way to figure it out is to just play around with it and try to do individual and specific things. Once you have that down, then you can start adding complexity and generating full reports. As you improve, you can optimize GI's in Acumatica and boost performance in Velixo. Velixo helps us replicate reports from Spitfire within Acumatica and also utilizes Excel for data management. It's easy to pull data with Generic Inquiries once past the learning curve. I read every review myself and this one deserves a real answer. What you ran into was a change Microsoft made to the Office add-in store that broke installation for a small number of tenants, yours included. Nothing to do with your setup, and diagnosing it alongside Microsoft took longer than it should have. While we were chasing the root cause, upgrading tenant licenses looked like the fix. We now know that simply re-enabling a service in your Microsoft 365 admin center is necessary, which happened automatically when upgrading to the Microsoft Pro License. A Pro license is \*not\* required to use Velixo, so please feel free to revert those users and stop paying for something you don't need. Velixo connects directly to Acumatica so that we can get real time information. It uses Excel and the Velixo functions are similar to Excel functions. It has a drill down feature which is nice. However, I find the drill down information could be organized better. I love that Velixo has transformed our Acumatica from a static program into something dynamic, making every aspect of our jobs easier. It's great that I can refresh files to get accurate data without having to export multiple reports to Excel individually. I particularly appreciate that our templates auto-refresh so nothing needs to be exported from Acumatica. The writebacks are extremely valuable too, as they save us a lot of manual entry time. I wish there was a GL template that could be set up in Acumatica that would automatically make updates to the Excel files. For example, when we added the project number and quantity columns to Acumatica, they were not automatically added to every instance of a GL in Excel.
