Velixo has reduced the time it takes to carry out several tasks. We purchased it because of the ability to create financial statements and stats with the click of a button but we found that it does much more with the ability to writeback journal entries, bills, invoices, and more directly to Acumatica ERP. We also use it to create budget files for managers to complete including YTD actual data, forecast data, budget data and then we write back the budgets and modified forecasts to ERP. This process has saved a minimum of 80 hours in the budgeting process.

We found it challenging initially when a password was memorized and then the Acumatica password expired which caused the Acumatica account to be locked if a user went into a Velixo-enabled file. We have overcome that challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ability to quickly pull information into an excel format for additional analysis and better reporting. We have built customized templates for financial reporting and other summary reports that previously took ours to develop each month. It's completely integrated with Acumatica and I get to use my Excel skills. Reports are professional looking, easy to keep updated saves me HOURS every month so I don't have to export data, reformat it and then analyze. If I need some quick information Velixo is the first place I look to get it, I go to Velixo daily, maybe even more often than Acumatica. And the distribution feature is the best - saves so much time and automatically changes the parameters on my reports to distribute to the correct department.

The templates are easy to use, the formulas are easy to pick up and learn, and the support is second to none. Simply download the software, create your connection and you're in. For example, when working with intricate consolidations, multi-entity structures, or custom data fields in Acumatica, it can take extra effort or creative workarounds to achieve the desired output.

Additionally, performance can occasionally lag when pulling large volumes of data or working with very detailed reports, especially if multiple Velixo formulas are used in a single workbook. While this isn’t a dealbreaker, it's something to be mindful of during high-volume reporting cycles.

Velixo is a helpful tool to get data out of Intacct without having to write custom reports in Intacct. The most helpful tool is the writeback feature. My accounting team uses is to book journal entries which we just input in excel and then post through the writeback function. This allows us to set up an entire spreadsheet with multiple tabs for each entry, make monthly updates quick, and post them. My project managers use it for their WIP cost-to-complete calculations and they use the writeback feature to upload their latest forecast. This saves me a significant amount of time as I can pull their latest forecast without having to open a separate workbook for each project. I find it easy to use as I'm good at following formulas, however sometimes other users have a hard time troubleshooting issues. It's typically something I can find easily by unhiding cells with certain formulas. It's also tricky to navigate when there are Intacct permission issues that are preventing a user from running a Velixo report, however I think that is more of an Intacct issue.
