- automatic meeting categorization

- tracking team member health and recommendations

- ability to compare people metrics within one team

What do you dislike about Uplevel?

Many company meeting in calendar formally mandatory but since they are useless most of the time, people just skip them or connect "in background" to continue their regular activity. What do you like best about Uplevel?

I like the visibility and view into the teams active projects that Uplevel provided. The allocation view into engineering adds much needed accountability and visibility into what the engineering teams are doing, the active projects and their velocity/time investment. As org leaders it provides a better handle on the org allocation and where are the areas we should spend more or less time in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Uplevel?

I think the allocation aspect is in its early stages and I would like to see it get more depth. I would like to see the predictive aspect of allocation developed (not to full AI but early deductive modelling). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Uplevel?

Being a manager of multiple teams managed by teams managers, I use the tool to detect roadblocks in the process. It is also interesting to analyse being always on and context switching factors; I use that data periodically to check those statistics with team members and discuss trends. I also like to regularly check Labs section e.g. Knowledge Silos is handy in determining areas requiring broader knowledge sharing. The support is also great and effective in solving issues or answering questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Uplevel?

Initially, the accuracy of the data was not great; it was prone to local anomalies (e.g. person on vac); this improved a lot over time with the feedback given. Similarly, the tool needed time to recognise and correctly mark categories of meetings and do not calculate those unconfirmed by individuals. However, after spending some time with the tool, it improved (also because of shared feedback), and I learned how to use it better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Uplevel?

I like the general idea and purpose of Uplevel to collect the "active" or/and "inactive" working time based on meetings via google calendar, slack spending time, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Uplevel?

There are definitely limitations to the current design. For instance, relying based on "yes" or "no" answers from the google calendar for the meeting hours doesn't really prove much. Maybe using the zoom apis might have been better? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Exec dashboard with aggregations on DORA, and things like always on, deep work trended over time! Super helpful to get a pulse and ability to dig deeper to identify root cause and drive action!

Uplevel is very flexible and has tremendous customer service. They can extract data from many of your operational tools and unlock areas for improvement. They are constantly evolving and delivering new functions and features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Uplevel needs a lot of access to your tools and data, it can seem very invasive at first. It is very secure but can seem intrusive from a security and personal perspective for employees. The key is to message and use the tool constructively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
