**What do you like best about Uplevel?**

- automatic meeting categorization
- tracking team member health and recommendations
- ability to compare people metrics within one team
- reports aligned by sprints
- integration with bitbucket to track stuck PRs

**What do you dislike about Uplevel?**

Many company meeting in calendar formally mandatory but since they are useless most of the time, people just skip them or connect "in background" to continue their regular activity.  This corrupts statistics for meeting distribution and make it not realy honestly reflect reality

**What problems is Uplevel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can get visibility of team work (health) that I did not have before. It is convinient to have metrics from different sources(calendar, slack, bitcuvket, jira) in obe place and have alligned to team and sprint

The system shows how much time people spend in messengers.  
Good visualization of results.

Sometimes it is hard to interpret the results.
Not all systems that we use every day, could be integrated with Uplevel

The main goal is to see the work shape of the teams and time distribution during a sprint

**What do you like best about Uplevel?**

It is a very useful tool to improve engineering team efficiency, simplify the work of scrum master and help to control different metrics across all linked products

**What do you dislike about Uplevel?**

Very pure API support. It will be better to have a possibility to export metrics for different automations

**What problems is Uplevel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manage the progress of engineering teams in simple and visual representation, get metrics for sprints, and manage the health of work. This helps to build a right working balance inside teams.

**What do you like best about Uplevel?**

I like the visibility and view into the teams active projects that Uplevel provided. The allocation view into engineering adds much needed accountability and visibility into what the engineering teams are doing, the active projects and their velocity/time investment. As org leaders it provides a better handle on the org allocation and where are the areas we should spend more or less time in.

**What do you dislike about Uplevel?**

I think the allocation aspect is in its early stages and I would like to see it get more depth. I would like to see the predictive aspect of allocation developed (not to full AI but early deductive modelling).

**What problems is Uplevel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the allocation problem, a growing issue in software development. Uplevel is ahead of the curve, and I hope it will maintain that edge.

**What do you like best about Uplevel?**

Being a manager of multiple teams managed by teams managers, I use the tool to detect roadblocks in the process. It is also interesting to analyse being always on and context switching factors; I use that data periodically to check those statistics with team members and discuss trends. I also like to regularly check Labs section e.g. Knowledge Silos is handy in determining areas requiring broader knowledge sharing. The support is also great and effective in solving issues or answering questions.

**What do you dislike about Uplevel?**

Initially, the accuracy of the data was not great; it was prone to local anomalies (e.g. person on vac); this improved a lot over time with the feedback given. Similarly, the tool needed time to recognise and correctly mark categories of meetings and do not calculate those unconfirmed by individuals. However, after spending some time with the tool, it improved (also because of shared feedback), and I learned how to use it better.

**What problems is Uplevel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me a complex overview on my teams work progress, helps identifying blockers and gives me datapoint to discuss mental wellness with my personnel (e.g. long activities, staying late, number of interruptions)

**What do you like best about Uplevel?**

I like the general idea and purpose of Uplevel to collect the "active" or/and "inactive" working time based on meetings via google calendar, slack spending time, etc.

**What do you dislike about Uplevel?**

There are definitely limitations to the current design. For instance, relying based on "yes" or "no" answers from the google calendar for the meeting hours doesn't really prove much. Maybe using the zoom apis might have been better?

**What problems is Uplevel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not actively use Uplevel. I have tried to use it - going into its dashboard, looking around some data for me, and so on. However, I am unsure if the data provided to me was useful for me to change my working behavior.

**What do you like best about Uplevel?**

Exec dashboard with aggregations on DORA, and things like always on, deep work trended over time! Super helpful to get a pulse and ability to dig deeper to identify root cause and drive action!

Uplevel is super engaged and is very responsive to help/make changes when requested

**What do you dislike about Uplevel?**

Add more key data sources to ingest - PagerDuty, GreenHouse etc

Focus better and tie the team offering with the exec offering better

Add more explicit support for DORA metrics

Ability to spot trends and dig deep to identify root cause and take action

**What do you like best about Uplevel?**

Uplevel is very flexible and has tremendous customer service. They can extract data from many of your operational tools and unlock areas for improvement. They are constantly evolving and delivering new functions and features.

**What do you dislike about Uplevel?**

Uplevel needs a lot of access to your tools and data, it can seem very invasive at first. It is very secure but can seem intrusive from a security and personal perspective for employees. The key is to message and use the tool constructively.

**What problems is Uplevel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engineering operational efficiency is tough to measure. It can be even harder to identify the potential areas of improvement. UpLevel can link your operational tools (Jira, Git, Slack, etc.) and schedules to diagnose where there may be problems or opportunities for improvement.

The dashboards are easy to read, and the team is always on top of our requests. So far, all data has been available on time to comply with our deadlines, so our processes continue to run smoothly.

So far, our experience with Uplevel has been 100% positive.

The dashboard that Uplevel designed has significantly reduced our analysis time in our quaterly process. Now the data is simplified and organized in a way that allows us to automate several review steps while maintaining the required level of detail in our data to comply with audit requirements.

It should have weekly report in email to notify about how my week is going on. And have the suggestion to recommend me to do to improve my-self what I cando better.

**What do you like best about Uplevel?**

The concept behind it is very nice, the application integrates with other applications and compiles all data to find out if an engineer is getting stuck in too many meetings or unnecessary work than important work and it can also help you find out if someone is working for less time

**What do you dislike about Uplevel?**

The concept and idea are nice but there should be some kind of calibration should be done because people can find tricks to fool the app, but yeah support is nice overall good application.

Application is allowing managers and other key people to get data on employess if everything is working fine or there are any flaws and bad patterns which can be figured out and productivity could be increased.

We only track the amount of time spent working outside of a typical 8 hour workday—anything that is less than 30 minutes over falls into the “Normal” range. **What do you like best about Uplevel?**

Being able to get a gauge for discussion with employees.  Especially remote workers.  Also, increased JIRA integration helps to monitor projects by being able to group individuals together.

**What do you dislike about Uplevel?**

The resent updates that included the flexibility of JIRA is great; downside, depending on teams they may not use it as much if they have limited jira exposure.

**What problems is Uplevel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uplevel is solving my ability to be more flexible to see what the team is doing from the JIRA standpoint.  As a manager the ability to get a gauge on employee work and specific points of contact is great benefit.

**What do you like best about Uplevel?**

Dashboards are handy for seeing the "Always on" and "Dep work" metrics. I love the weekly updates/aleerts in emails too

**What do you dislike about Uplevel?**

Too early in the cycle to develop dislikes. If I have to pick on something, I'd say Uplevel needs to work on integrating with Microsoft DevOps at the earliest.

**What problems is Uplevel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our engineering team is very metrics-driven, and Uplevel provides the teams with the critical insights to increase their productivity and efficiencies. It has also resulted in a positive change, like conversations with team members focused on improving their deep work and understanding reasons around high "Always on"  metrics etc.

- Always on, make me know how my team working.
- PR lifetime
- 1-1 report before going to have 1-1 with the team, make me having the right conversation with the team.

**What do you dislike about Uplevel?**

- May be not what I dislike, but I would like Uplevel to have some explanation about the proposal why we need to track data eg since everyone doing remote working, why your manager needs this data, for xxx, to convince the engineering team to have a right understanding that we are not tracking everything about them, but this data important since their managers would like to take care them as much as possible while remote working.

I have sufficient data to discuss with my engineers while doing remote work.

All the metrics being in one place from Slack, JIRA, Calendar, Gitlab etc

**What do you dislike about Uplevel?**

The metrics are not presented in a way that is conducive to drawing valuable insights or changing behaviors

**What problems is Uplevel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uplevel is surfacing a lot of operational metrics related to productivity which in theory could help guide my workflow to be more effective
