**What do you like best about UMAI?**

The restaurant managers and floor staff are familiar using it. There are no problems so far, everything is ok. We hardly think about it, it is seamlessly integrated with Google My Business and customers are actively using it.

**What do you dislike about UMAI?**

There are many other features in the UMAI interface that we haven't explored. So far we are just using the reservation system. I need to log in and log out if I'm checking different restaurants.

**What problems is UMAI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customers are very digital savvy these days (especially those that seek more sophisticated dining experiences) and are highly dependent on IT services like Google Maps, Google My Business etc before they decide to visit a restaurant. So its essential to have a reservation button integrated directly on your Google My Business profile.That is what customers are used to and what they expect.

**What do you like best about UMAI?**

I appreciate UMAI's reservation system and loyalty program because they help build relationships with customers by offering exclusive deals and streamline our operations by auto-assigning tables and preventing overbooking. The seamless UI is a big plus, as it's easy for our floor operation staff to navigate and understand. It doesn't complicate the operation flow and manages table assignments simply, allowing staff to focus on service. Switching to UMAI from Wannascan was a good move since UMAI offers both a reservation system and loyalty programs, which was essential as our restaurant started to grow.

**What do you dislike about UMAI?**

There's a feature I would really like UMAI to look into developing, which is the queueing system. It would be beneficial to offer more features to tackle complicated situations that arise from the unique concept of our restaurant. The queueing system would allow us to manage the crowd better, as our diners are usually cramped in front of our deli counters, affecting the operation flow. It would be great if every table is assigned a unique QR code where arrived guests can scan to pop into the queue to be served at the chiller display while seated and waiting.

It's quite a long time to set up, so I'm not very clear with the memory from a few years ago. Also, it's easier for us to know about the new features.

What I like about UMAI is its all-in-one system that combines reservations, table management, and guest CRM into one platform. The automated reminders reduce no-shows, capturing guest preferences helps personalize service and improve customer loyalty, which ultimately saves time, reduces manual errors, and makes daily restaurant operations much more efficient.

While UMAI works very well as an all-in-one system, there's always room for improvement. Deeper analytics and more customizable reports could help with more detailed decision-making. Smoother integration with certain POS systems and faster performance during peak hours would also make daily operations even more seamless.

UMAI gives me full control of all reservations in one system. It’s easy to use, quick to set up, and flexible enough to match how our restaurant operates. Features like the tag system, table automation, timeline view, and guest database keep everything clear at a glance and make it simple to stay organised. Overall, it saves time, reduces human error, and helps the team handle busy services more smoothly. The 24/7 support is also a major advantage—there’s always someone available to assist whenever we need help.

**What do you dislike about UMAI?**

We occasionally experience glitches and periods of system downtime. We also still have to manually record deposits and deduct them from the final bill, since the deposit information isn’t integrated with our POS system. That said, when issues do come up, they’re usually resolved quickly with help from the support team.

UMAI replaces manual reservation handling with an automated system that keeps bookings, waitlists, table assignments, and guest data in one place. This has reduced our staff’s workload and helped improve table turnover.

The guest database also helps us remember preferences and build stronger relationships with returning guests. The automated review emails make it easier to track feedback, follow up with unhappy guests, and record their preferences for next time.

I find UMAI easy for us to manage reservations since there's no need to manually contact customers because UMAI already has that covered. I appreciate being able to save the customer database for future events, as it allows us to invite them when relevant, leading to higher attendance. This feature helps make our work easier. Also, while the initial setup was a bit challenging, I had great support from Rachel and UMAI support, which was really helpful.

Honestly, there isn't much to complain about, though I have noticed that the system occasionally lags. This might be due to our own devices, or it could happen during peak hours when guests are trying to make reservations. It's also possible that the system is resyncing to provide us with the most up-to-date information.

**What problems is UMAI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At present, this system addresses my needs for tracking guest data and analyzing the daily analytics of my restaurant reservations, including both the number of guests and total bookings. Most importantly, it assists in managing a waitlist, which is a feature not commonly found in other reservation systems, as most are focused on on-demand bookings.

When it comes to guest data, the system helps remind me of individual guest preferences and quirks. For daily analytics, it enables me to make better decisions about when my team needs additional manpower, such as identifying actual peak hours. The waitlist feature also gives us a slight advantage by helping convert unconfirmed reservations into confirmed ones.

The support team is amazing, fast and efficient when attending to any issues or enquiries. UMAI as a whole, is easy to use with the drag-and-drop feature, our Hostess is able to manage reservations. The Marketing feature for now is great to use, and helps with our newsletter.

It would be great to have a more in-depth data driven features for us to analyze. To able to derive, analyze data such as what top selling items are per hour, top performing dishes within a week, etc. But understand that requires UMAI to connect to a POS system.

As a reservation platform, it's convenient and easy to use, which helps our operations team to work efficiently when handling guests. Being able to know our Guest profile helps the team serves and delivery amazing hospitality.

The best thing about UMAI is how it keeps everything in one place and makes it super easy to use. Managing reservations and guest info feels effortless and made our daily work so much smoother. Customer support is fast and efficient as well, especially when we need help. The features are all easy to use for the staffs.

Honestly, there isn't much to complain about. Perhaps more detailed insights into campaign performance.

UMAI has solved so many challenges for us such as smart reminders, and automatic marketing campaigns. It helps us to keep track of all guest profile and reservation data. We can also track their preferences and visit history.
