"Niche asset management software"

What do you like best about TrackAbout?

I liked the ability to track assets through a labeling system. It was easy to use and keep tabs on the equipment. The interface was intuitive and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TrackAbout?

It's a niche asset tracking system, geared towards returnable containers, so it does not have the functionality to help with scheduling maintenance and creating work orders, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple to use with the right scanners and followthrough"

What do you like best about TrackAbout?

The front end is simple to use, with phone apps, scanners and the ability to key in numbers manually, its a breeze to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TrackAbout?

Barcoding each item is time-consuming and requires substantial staff time as well as employee monitoring for followthrough (not the companies fault, per se, just an observation) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering TrackAbout:

Consider the time involved to sticker/barcode every asset and the ability of your staff to follow through with actually scanning items. Also, consider if you need remote tech support for the scanners. Keeping staff USING the system has proven to be the biggest challenge; one lazy employee can make the system very difficult to use. What problems is TrackAbout solving and how is that benefiting you?

Asset tracking our equipment and tanks, being able to move equipment from warehouse to warehouse and know immediately where it is Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TrackAbout?

It is a practical tool and practice to handle tool and establish the maintenance of them. Ed very useful because it gives you an organized structure at the moment of tracking assets and gives you excellent customer support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TrackAbout?

I do not like that it does not give you the option to download the data present in the application and that at times the pps scan is blocked intermittently Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is an excellent option because it is very flexible and dynamic to handle because all the functions that it offers allow you to manage your tools in a very practical way and thus keep personalized reports in a simple way Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TrackAbout?

While using this tool you can see that some reports were not so profitable due to their high cost and intermittently blocked when doing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
