Easier than an excel. Dropdowns are helpful. **What do you dislike about TimeSolv?** I am not sure HOW to improve the software, other than to have suggested or "smart" fields that use previous entries to assist in filling in new entries. I would also like the ability to 'link' time, which means if I had a meeting with 3 team members, only one person has to enter that meeting. I would also like to enter my "uncategorized" time - then count down. Meaning, I could enter that I worked 8 hours on Tuesday. Then, I can say that I had a 1 hour meeting... the software should tell me that I have 7 more hours to enter. **Recommendations to others considering TimeSolv:** I think it is a useful tool. **What problems is TimeSolv solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is far more efficient than excel. ### 2. I started my job June 15th, and was able to get all the bills out for June 30th, by July 17th, including the LEDES invoices! The entire staff have been so helpful and friendly. I can't say enough! TimeSolv and their staff deserve all the Praises! **What do you dislike about TimeSolv?** I would like to see a report with Invoice Detail showing specific payment allocations, not just a summary. **Recommendations to others considering TimeSolv:** I've used many different Time and Billing programs over the many years I've been in Accounting and this has been the easiest and most comprehensive programs to use and utilize. I love it! You won't find a friendlier, more knowledgeable team, to help you with your needs! I'm sure you could call them, and brain-storm with them, as to what specific needs you have. You'll see how great they are to work with, and how much you can streamline your time and billing! **What problems is TimeSolv solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a Law Firm, and our Clients require specific and different Billing Guidelines. TimeSolv makes it very easy to summarize the information needed, to make sure we are in compliance with their Guidelines, making it easier to get paid the entire amount of the invoice. ### 3. We needed to upgrade for a very long time bt couldn't find a cost-effective solution that would also save time. THEN we found TimeSolv and it has everything we need. It is up to date, cost-effective, saves time, user-friendly and all the assistance we may need is available to us. Over time this is going to save us so much time and money and provide our clients with the additional detail they were looking for. ### 6. The integration with our eletronic payment processing vendor has been good as well. **What do you dislike about TimeSolv?** My biggest peeve was getting timed out when using the online/web version and occasionally within Outlook, but I've found if you're using the desktop or phone apps (TimeSync), that's not a problem. **Recommendations to others considering TimeSolv:** In terms of a pricepoint that provides both timekeeping and billing functions, I found TimeSolv to be the right fit for my practice. It seems the majority of the other options out there have a bunch of add-ons that duplicate functions we already had through Outlook and other programs. But it's a major advance from using spreadsheets and build-your-own invoices through Excel. **What problems is TimeSolv solving and how is that benefiting you?** TimeSolv has helped us cut the amount of time it takes to put invoices together and send them out to clients by more than half and has sped up the amount of time within which we receive payment from clients. ### 8. For many many years I used TimeSlips and it would take an entire day to produce invoices. I have to do them individully after the drafts. In addition, clients that have a balance due or have paid on their account, but no slips for the billing period, must hav e to figure out which ones and then do a Statement of Account, which the format is not always correct. I also do not like their "suggestion" page you have to keep up with it to "vote" for changes you'd like, etc. I hardly have time to ask for a change in the first place. **Recommendations to others considering TimeSolv:** Not until some changes are made would I be able to recommend the program. I have to literally do each bill 1 at a time after the initial drafts have been printed. **What problems is TimeSolv solving and how is that benefiting you?** See above. Also trust accounting does not let you do 1 entry in the trust account that you have transferred to operating; then you have to go to operating (payments) to do the matching entry. ### 14. I can simply type in just a few letters and am able to quickly navigate through our client list to identify the correct client and the correct client matter. I also enjoy the flexibility of the sync feature. The fact that I can install an app on my phone and have access and the ability to conveniently enter my time from anywhere at any time. This has proved especially useful when I have late board meetings or when I have to jump on a conference call or take a client call while I am in the car or away from my desk; I can simply pull up the app on my phone, enter my time and sync it in TimeSolv in a matter of minutes. Finally, I like that you are able to run reports and are able to see your "to date" hours in one document broken down by client and are able to easily distinguish between billable and non-billable hours. This is especially useful to me because my firm has an annual billing requirement, but also provides a bonus for associates who exceed the annual requirement. Through the use of reports and hour tracking I am able to easily determine when I need to increase my billable hours in order to meet the requirement and/or get the bonus. **What do you dislike about TimeSolv?** I have not experienced any downfalls in using TimeSolv. It is easy to use and provides convenience in the form of the sync feature. I have not had any negative experiences since our firm switch to TimeSolv and I would definitely recommend TimeSolv for any billing needs **Recommendations to others considering TimeSolv:** I highly, highly recommend TimeSolv to any law firm or business where associate billing is required. It is so easy to use and has so many wonderful features as I've mentioned above in my review. Also the fact that there is a component app that allows you to enter time on the go and sync it to the desktop version is clutch, especially for an attorney who may be back and forth between court and the office or client meetings and the office. **What problems is TimeSolv solving and how is that benefiting you?** TimeSolv helps me recognize and resolve errors in billing by breaking down reports by clients. I can view the descriptions quickly and verify tha tthe correct client is being billed for work completed; it also helps me keep track of my time and to see the progress that I've made toward my firm's annual billing requirement. I can easily see when I need to increase my hours for the month or whether I am on track to meet and/or exceed the requirement. I am also able to record my time more accurately because I have the ability through the TimeSolv app to enter time wherever I am at anytime so there's no longer an issue with forgetting to enter time after a meeting or a phone call taken while traveling for example. ### 18.
