## TimeClock Plus by TCP Reviews
  ### 1. TCP: A Redemption Story in Progress

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kara J. | TCP Manager, Campus Secretary, Administrative Assistant to Principal, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like that Timekeeping and Substitute Management are housed within one system. One platform streamlines payroll process and reduces the need to navigate between different software.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TCP still requires significant improvements, many of which were previously promised but have not yet been implemented.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am updating my initial review after meeting with Chad D. from the product development team, as it was a very positive experience. Chad took the time to truly listen to TCP Manager concerns and provide thoughtful, detailed insight into upcoming software improvements. His strong knowledge of the platform, along with the changes he described, was exciting & clearly reflects a commitment to continuous improvement and user feedback.
I really appreciated the collaborative nature of the conversation and left the meeting feeling encouraged and optimistic about what's ahead. I look forward to learning more about these enhancements and am happy to support or provide feedback as they move forward.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Glad to hear you were able to connect with Chad and things are going so much better!

  ### 2. Excellent Time Tracking Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andres C. | Sr. Analyst HR Apps, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2022

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The integration via API with Oracle HCM is fantastic, and is fantastic the integration with Oracle Time and Labor via APIs as well.
very easy to use. so intuitive.
I want to add as well that the support team investigate every single request or incident to solve it as soon as they can.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

the application doesn't have the integration via API to get the schedules, it must be via txt file, it would be awesome if they develop this part.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

managing the punches of the employees is almost in real time, it means that TCP send this punches frequently to Oracle Time and Labor and it helps to the supervisor check the timecard the employees quickly.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the great feedback—really glad to hear the Oracle integrations and ease of use are working well for you, and that our support team has been responsive. We also appreciate the note about schedule integration via API and will share that with our team.

  ### 3. Customized and Exportable Reports for Our Payroll Needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

We like that everything can be digital, calculated time cards, reports can be exported into spreadsheets, and customizable to meet our payroll needs.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TCP is not compatible with our financial software to automate our payroll procedure and performance. We still do a lot of manual data entry, even though we are not using paper time sheets. We are not able to get some customizations added into a specific report that we need in the "period" report. It only gives us 2 options in the break out job codes when I need 6. I have to run multiple reports to collect all of the information I need, therefore it is not saving me any time or paper. I have messaged support a couple of times and have had no response.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled with paper time sheets and manual data entry, but now we can check online requests and punches, which has resulted in time management and easier time calculations and accrual tracking.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for your honest feedback! Please don't give up on our customer support team as we actually have a great response and resolution team. I will be sharing this feedback with them as well.

  ### 4. Effortless Time Management with Stellar Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben S. | Senior Systems Engineer / Infrastructure Architect, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I really appreciate the biggest benefit of TimeClock Plus by TCP, which is the web-based management that allows us to manage centrally all of our hardware clocks and integrate directly into our existing badging system. I love that we can automatically deploy firmware to every clock across the school district, reboot all of the clocks, and make configuration changes centrally all at the same time. The initial integration was very easy and flowed very smoothly, and the vendor did a perfect job with training and integrating the system into our existing environment. The ease of use, management, integration into our existing badging system, the clock interface, and the hardware maintenance are all excellent, which is why I give a 10 out of 10 recommendation.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The only thing I would say that could be improved would be the integration into Skyward Q.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeClock Plus by TCP automates employee clock in/out and integrates with our business system, improving payroll calculation. Its web-based management lets us centrally manage hardware clocks and deploy updates across the school district efficiently.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for the great review! So glad everything came together perfectly for your school district! We hear you on the Skyward integration and we'll make sure that feedback gets to the right team. Thanks Ben!

  ### 5. TimeClock Plus Offers all the options we need.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TimeClock Plus has been easy to use and includes many of the calculation tools I was looking for. We annualize employment contracts for our 180-day employees, and the contract reporting is essential for keeping everything easy to track. We’ve also implemented the geofencing options for certain employment groups so they can clock in and out as needed at offsite locations, which has made job tracking and hours much easier. Additionally, we launched the sub-calling automation, and it has streamlined both our leave request process and our sub-calling needs.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

At times, there are so many options in the settings that I forget just how powerful the software can be. I wish TCP offered more tips and reminders to me so I could be reminded of the options they have. Monthly webinars (with an option to view the recording afterwards) are so beneficial.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Annualizing payments for our 180 day employees was a huge chore previosly taking up many hours of calculating and many errors to correct over time. TCP has simplified this tracking for our district.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for this great review! And we have great news — monthly webinars with recordings are already a thing! We'd love to make sure you're connected. Reach out and we'll get you set up!

  ### 6. Amazing Implementation Team and Quick, On-Point Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathy B. | Coordinator, Business Services/Human Resources Technology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TCP has been amazing to work with. The implementation team has gone above and beyond to help with our implementation. They have been very patient with our lack of knowledge and always willing to give advice. The incredibly large amount of features this program can be overwhelming. Support has been quick to respond and always on point. We have about 600 employees on TCP at this time and are getting ready to bring on another 200 but we are comfortable when we roll it out due to the tremendous support from the implementation team.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The only negative I would say about TCP is the support ticket system. I find it difficult when I have multiple cases open to keep them straight through email. The ticket numbers are not on the email and there is not a support portal where I can review them. They like to have reviews after they close the case but there is no information included with the email requesting the review.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are working really hard at trying to get our API to work between TCP and eFinance Plus. There have been several trials along the way but they area always willing to face the challenges.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> That's so great to hear! Thanks for the wonderful feedback.

  ### 7. Reliable Uptime, But Scheduling and Usability Still Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Veterinary | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The website is rarely down and when it is for maintenance, it is always outside of normal business hours.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I don't feel like it is very user-friendly. I have been using TCP for 3.5 years now and still am not familiar with some functions. I wish it would do more to help with scheduling as that would save me hours each month. I have chatted with representatives several times and still don't find TCP as a useful tool for scheduling. I also have found my tardy reports to be inaccurate at times so I end up going through individual timecards myself.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not know of any problems that TCP is currently solving for me. They have tried but it doesn't seem to fit my needs. Honestly, it feels overwhelming to shop around so I just make it work.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for sticking with us and for the honest review! We hear you on the scheduling and usability challenges — and we actually have dedicated scheduling solutions through TCP that may be exactly what you're looking for. We'd love to connect and make sure you're set up with the right tools. Please reach out!

  ### 8. Streamlined Time Management with Minor Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidi L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like the ease of use of TimeClock Plus by TCP once it has been learned, and I also appreciate the ability to make adjustments relatively quickly. It provides a unified platform for all employees to clock in and out and allows for time off requests to be approved in a timely manner by the correct managers.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

It's a very robust platform and could be scaled down for clients that don't need all the bells and whistles of it. I'd say the initial setup was intermediate; it helps when the implementation agent is well-versed in the product. Follow-up was a little more difficult.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TimeClock Plus by TCP for managing time cards and tracking PTO. It solves having a unified platform for employees to clock in and out and enables managers to approve time off requests timely.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Glad to hear it's working well for you! If it helps, we do have a Knowledge Base to help the learning curve, in addition to our CSMs. https://community.tcpsoftware.com/s

  ### 9. Effortless Tracking and Payroll Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peggy V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I use TimeClock Plus by TCP for tracking hours for payroll and project hours. It's quick, which is a real time saver, and allows edits while tracking those edits. I like that it is quick, accurate, and easy to use. The interface is very simple and clean, so I can see at a glance what's happening with hours, which is a big plus for me. The reports function is also a huge asset. It's satisfying that it does what I need it to do and quickly.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The one thing is that salaried employees show up in the Individual Hours even if Exclude salaried is checked, but that might be a set up issue.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TimeClock Plus by TCP for tracking hours for payroll and projects. It's a time saver, allowing quick edits and tracking them. It has a clean interface, making it easy to see hours at a glance, and the reports function is a huge asset.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the review! So glad it's saving you time. Please reach out to our Support Team - they can definitely assist you in the setup of salaried employees.

  ### 10. Flexible Timesheet Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan A. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I appreciate TimeClock Plus by TCP for its ability to manage a large roster of employees, especially since many hold multiple positions and need their labor hours organized by job code and specific events. I like how it automatically applies shift minimum hours and allows a wide range of settings to be adjusted for each employee's profile, accommodating different business needs and applicable labor laws across multiple states. The flexibility to apply nuanced settings, like geofencing rules tailored to individual employees based on their roles or work locations, is a standout feature for me. This has led to fewer errors with employees clocking into incorrect positions or events, reducing the need for manual adjustments during payroll processing.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I think the most useful thing would be if I could re-send employee activation emails on my end. As it is, I have had to reach out to TCP support each time this was needed. Support has been helpful but this feels like an unnecessary step in the process. It's also unclear to me if I update an employee's email address if TCP would send them a new activation email automatically. So maybe if there was a way to log any communications from TCP to the employee.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TCP helps manage a large roster of employees, letting us organize labor hours by job code and event. The nuanced employee settings, including geofencing, reduce clocking errors, minimizing payroll adjustments. Its vast range of settings adapts to various business needs and labor laws.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks so much for taking the time to share this - glad it's been working well for you. Please check with support, though, on the email activations to get that cleared up for you.

  ### 11. Accurate Time Tracking and Custom Reports, with a Few Annoying Quirks

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

It is accurate in logging time in and out for our purposes, and adding time for individual employees as well as to a group. I also like that I can create different reports of my own and save them to run again.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

There have been some changes made that resulted in quirks or annoying aspects. Nothing that stops the app from being usable, but adds time to the general process. Requests or suggestions made regarding programming usually get the same response from TCP - they'll look at it. However, I've yet to see one integrated that I can recall.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used the pc based app previously, and now use the web based app. Both were good, but I feel the web based has more features and flexibility.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback—we’re glad to hear you’re finding TimeClock Plus accurate and flexible for reporting. We also appreciate your comments on recent changes and feature requests, and we’ll be sure to share them with our team.

  ### 12. Easy Employee Time Tracking Across Multiple Managers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emmaleigh M. | Payroll Technician, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The upsides is an easy way to track employees clock in/out punches and availability to use it with many different managers.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I wish there was free training to provide an inside on certain features that could help towards a specific type of organization such as a school district

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are helping me fix our maintenance overtime and how it calculates it making it easier to export properly and causing less work on the back end for me for payroll.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for the great review! We do have our Community Portal that provides information/how-to's/webinars on TimeClock Plus - no charge. We also have our free customer support that is happy to walk you through any parts of the system.

  ### 13. Effortless Time Tracking with Real-Time Updates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Becca G. | Staff Support, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

What I like most about TimeClock Plus is how easy it makes tracking time and attendance. Everything is in one place, so clocking in, clocking out, and keeping up with hours is really straightforward. I also like that it updates in real time, so there’s no guessing or waiting to see if something actually saved

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

What I dislike most is that the system can feel a little clunky at times. Some of the menus aren’t super intuitive, and it takes a bit of clicking around to find what you need.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeClock Plus helps solve the problem of messy or inaccurate time tracking. Instead of relying on paper sheets or guessing hours, everything is recorded automatically and updated in real time. It also helps managers keep schedules organized and makes it easy to fix mistakes, like missed punches. For me, it makes things more reliable—I don’t have to worry about my hours being wrong or getting lost, and the whole process of clocking in, clocking out, and checking my time is way more convenient.

  ### 14. Not User-Friendly, Frequent Issues Even After 14 Months

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kara J. | TCP Manager/Campus Secretary, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

To be honest, there isn't much. It is not user friendly, most reports are redundant and provide unnecessary information. We are 14 months in using TCP and each day there are issues. The only positive thing I can say is that it is nice that you can...well, no actually nothing. I miss dearly Kronos and Frontline (AESOP). We actually had people quit their jobs because of TCP

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Where do I start. My district as been using TCP for OVER 14 mos and the issues continue daily. Subs show up when they shouldn't. Teachers absences are entered as 1/2 day but subs are seeing full day absences. BIG PROBLEM. The reports are terrible. It is not an easy friendly user face. I could write a book on the issues my district has had with TCP. I would pay money to go back to Kronos and Frontline.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only thing it solves is allowing subs to see and pick up jobs...Wait, that's a lie. We STILL (14 mos later) have subs show up who say they picked up a full day assignment when it was entered in TCP as a half day assignment. We have asked for a SIMPLE Substitute Sign-in Sheet since our district started using TCP. This was 14 mos ago. GUESS WHAT? STILL NO SUB SIGN-IN. We had to design our own and trying to find long term subs?? NOT EASY. They never show up on reports. This is insance. I would beg everyone and every single business to stay away from TCP. I think our district rolled it out too soon and TCP was never able to deliver.

  ### 15. Simple and Reliable, but TCP Setup Can Be Confusing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like that it's pretty simple and consistent. It's very reliable with little to no technical glitches.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

For the processes that I don't know about TCP, it tends to be a little confusing on how to set it up. I'm still a little confused on why there are both job codes and employee roles.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it for all our childcare workers at all four campuses to clock in and clock out using an Ipad. It helps us keep track of childcare hours and transfer it into out payroll system.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you so much for the feedback! We're glad it's keeping your childcare workers organized across all four campuses. On the job codes vs. employee roles question, we actually have webinar recordings that walk through exactly that! Please reach out to our support team and we'll point you in the right direction. Or, even better, have our support team walk you through it! 😊

everyone can clock in and out, take lunch out, you can program it to your company's needs,

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Happy to hear it's working well for your company! Please reach out to our customer support if you'd like to receive less emails.

  ### 17. Easy Reporting, but Initial Employee Setup Can Be Confusing

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like that it is easy to pull up reports

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

In the beginning of using it and setting up employee profiles it can be very confusing and not user friendly.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

they make it easier to track employees times

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for your feedback Kelly! So glad pulling reports is easy for you! It may take a little time in the beginning to learn everything that's available, but please don't hesitate to lean on our support team to walk you through it all!

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the review! Happy to hear it’s been a positive experience.

  ### 20. TCP is a great resource and user friendly product.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alisha W. | Human Resources Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The system makes it simple for employees to clock in and out, request leave, and track their schedules, while giving administrators clear and accurate oversight of time, attendance, and labor costs. The ability to customize settings for our organization and generate detailed reports is especially valuable, as it helps streamline payroll and ensures compliance with policies.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

What I dislike most about TimeClock Plus by TCP is that some features can be overly complex and not always intuitive for new users. Employees sometimes find the navigation confusing, and certain administrative tasks—such as adjusting time entries or generating specific reports—can feel more time-consuming than expected. Occasional system glitches or connectivity issues can also disrupt clock-ins, which impacts accuracy and efficiency.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeClock Plus by TCP helps solve the challenges of accurately tracking employee time, managing schedules, and reducing payroll errors. By streamlining clock-ins, leave requests, and attendance records into one system, it eliminates manual processes and ensures greater accuracy. This not only saves time for HR and supervisors but also provides employees with transparency and accountability in their schedules. The overall benefit is improved efficiency, reduced administrative burden, and more reliable data for workforce management.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2025

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Timeclock plus has very good service managers and techs that are willing to help 24/7 at any given time. Not only do they help fix issues when needed, they provide clear instructions which allows you to learn how to fix things on your own in the future. They are very good people to work with especially for a chain of stores. The company I work forhas 16 locations and TCP makes it easy to work with and track things for all locations.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I currecntly don't dislike anything about TCP.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are helping us solve many payroll issues with the easier ways they have it set up to track times and run certain reports.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ILONE H. | accounting / bookkeeper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

it gets easier to navigate it after using it with someone that knows it well then it all makes sense how to find and change things in it for our employees.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

it was hard to navigate at first until i was able to go through it a few times with others that are familiar with the program.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employees clocking in on their own is working very well.

  ### 32. Satisfied TimeClock Plus User

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verenda S. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TimeClock Plus is easy to navigate. So very user friendly. The customer service is also very helpful when your in need of assistance. I needed help with our accural process and they were very knowledagble and helped me through it no problem. The Employees like it cause it's easy to clock in and out on just a few clicks and your done. Also like i said very user friendly they can easily request time off see there Accrued PTO and hours they had for the week without jumping through hoops. they can also have it on their phone for easy access.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

We sometimes have a issue with when they go to clock out it dosent always do it and then i have to adjust it for them but i dont know if that is nessecarialy TimeClock Plus issues it could be them clocking out on there phones and the Wifi connection might be bad. Also when a week passes and someone is out sick when they come in the following week and want to use thier PTO on the last week they missed days on for some reason it's blocked out so they cant do it. Then i have to manually do it which is silly cause they could easily be able to add it in and then i just approve it since i have to approve the PTO anyway.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its not really solving any problems for me but it defiantly benifits me and my employees with ease of use.

  ### 33. Great Time and Attendance Solution

TCP is very responsive with help desk issues. The TCP system is rather intuitive after becoming familiar with the system.

I wish TCP could easily down load information from our accounting software so that the personnel files between the 2 systems would match all the time.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can manage time clocks across several campuses. and assist site manager with corrections that need to be made across those campuses. When I compile my reports the standard reports are very helpful showing time card issues before, I get into calculating the payroll.

  ### 35. TCP makes time keeping easy to keep up with.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2025

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

What I like best about TCP TimeClock Plus is how easy it is to use. The layout is simple, so I don’t have to waste time figuring out where everything is. Clocking in and out is super quick, and I can even do it from my phone if I need to. Plus, it keeps track of my hours really well, so I always know how much time I’ve worked. It also helps my job run smoother because it connects with other systems, making everything more organized.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The system has a lot of features, which is great, but it can feel a little overwhelming at first. It would be nice if some parts were a bit simpler to use right away.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TCP TimeClock Plus helps solve a lot of problems with tracking work hours. It makes sure my hours are recorded correctly, so I don’t have to worry about mistakes in my payroll. It also helps my job stay organized by keeping track of breaks, overtime, and schedules, so everything runs smoothly. Since I can clock in from different devices, it’s really convenient and saves time. Overall, it makes it easier for me and my coworkers to focus on our jobs instead of worrying about timekeeping.

  ### 36. The Product Works as Intended

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonette M. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2025

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Quick and easy access and simple to use. 24/7 Support.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I don't like receiving surveys after EVERY request, especially since the survey does not clearly state which request the survey is referencing.

BILLING/ACCOUNTS PAYABLE: The implementation team caused overages by adding Test employees which TCP should have removed upon completion. I was unaware of charges until billed. Also, when logging in to pay invoices, there's no overview or history of the account to review.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking Attendance and Time-off.

  ### 37. TCP helped automate payroll

I like that TCP can be configured to accommodate both business units that are so different from one another

I wish the ability to track time on a percentage basis or hours:minutes could be manipulated on employee profile. Instead it is either everyone is hours:minutes or everyone is percentage

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is substantially reducing errors due to manual entry

  ### 38. Great Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carolyn P. | Office Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2025

It's easy to use and has a lot that you can do with it. We are able to add employees easily and track vacation/sick time as well.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I wish there were ways to edit the existing reports on what shows. Also, when we upgraded to the cloud, it was a long process from our existing system. However, overall, it ended up working itself out and everything turned out well.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to track time and vacation/sick in the system so we don't have to utilize an out-of-date spreadsheet that could have errors.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

There are a lot of features, which is good and bad. Would be nice to have a little better of a search sometimes.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Would be nice if it was not so easy for employees to punch in and out for each other by just knowing their number

  ### 42. Very Easy to Use

The most beneficial thing for me is the reports. There are a lot of different report options and lets me filter by employee if needed. The system is easy to use and is very straightforward.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Sometimes making sure new employees are configured correctly can be a little touch and go.

It helps us monitor tardies and identify potential pattern absences with our employees so that we can address the issue quickly before it becomes a major issue.

  ### 43. It has been an easy transtion

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

It simplifies our payroll and reduces the amount of time it takes us.

Because it is so flexible and designed for all size companies. All the features and options can be a little confusing. Now that we have it setup like we need everything is fine.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is making it much easier to track everyone's time and leave so that we aren't having to use timecards.

  ### 44. PRODUCT IS SUFFICIENT- COMPANY STAY AWAY.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LYNNE B. | Executive Vice President, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2024

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The system itself, was easy to use and if you have an issue with something within the product, there are great CSR reps to help you along. And if you happen to not get one on the call, call back, try someone else. Assume they have turnover , like we have all had.

I also like that this system was not through our previous payroll company, I was not happy with them and knew it was a matter of time before we moved on.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Each month, if there is any difference in active employees you will pay a full prorated subscription for the additional employee. The cut off is the 25th, but sometimes the 20th. This was inconvenient, but on me as I knew I had to be sure to inactivate people quick. However- the annual is the gut kicker. I was told by CSR after they got me first year, they charge you annually for all active EE to have a license for each. I was very good about updating this on time as they got me one time for 10 more licenses than I needed. They started charging the annual even earlier than they were supposed to. Reach out to AR, they refuse to make any changes to the rate. I cancelled this June and our service was up in August, they charged me an annual AGAIN- and even earlier than the last few years. I reached out to them immediatly and cc'd the most recent CSR rep that I had talked to, and it is now November, and I have not been credited, have not been given the instructions to return the clock that I had asked several times. I was just told that I did not give a 30 day notice from when they pulled my payment (I was 2 days short), however they charged the payment early. But I was 45 days before the end of my term.
SO MY ADVICE- THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. STAY AWAY. THERE ARE SEVERAL SYSTEMS JUST AS GOOD AND IF YOU OPT TO LEAVE, THEY WILL LET YOU.

Able to track employees punches and flag punches or lack of punches outside schedule
