**What do you like best about Time Off by HR Cloud?**

The wide assortment of features and flexibility is what made us switch from our previous leave management tool. Over the last few years, we’ve tried several HR solutions, but Time Off by HR Cloud stood out because it centralizes everything related to employee leave—tracking, approvals, accruals, and balance management—all in one place. It integrates seamlessly with our existing HR system and has improved visibility for both employees and managers.

**What do you dislike about Time Off by HR Cloud?**

If your company has specific leave categories or complex approval workflows, setting them up manually can be a bit tedious at first. While the platform is flexible, adding or updating custom policies one by one can take some time. It would be great to have bulk-edit or automation features integrated directly into the settings panel.

**What problems is Time Off by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before adopting Time Off by HR Cloud, we relied on spreadsheets and email approvals for leave management. Now, everything is automated — requests, approvals, notifications, and reports. It has saved HR countless hours and reduced errors in leave tracking, improving transparency across departments.

**What do you like best about Time Off by HR Cloud?**

What I love most about Time Off by HR Cloud is how interactive, organized, and user-friendly the platform is. It has completely streamlined our leave management process, from request submission to approval, making it easier for both HR and employees. The support team is also exceptional, always responsive and ready to help us customize settings to match our company’s policies.

**What do you dislike about Time Off by HR Cloud?**

I haven’t found any major issues so far, but there’s always room for small improvements, such as adding more customizable notification options.

**What problems is Time Off by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time Off by HR Cloud has resolved our long-standing leave tracking challenges. We used to struggle with inconsistencies and overlapping time-off requests, but now everything is centralized, transparent, and automatically updated, saving us time and improving accuracy across departments.

It’s a well-rounded platform that simplifies the entire process of managing employee leave requests, approvals, and scheduling. The dashboard is intuitive and makes it easy to track balances, set policies, and automate notifications. The integration with other HR Cloud tools and Slack streamlines communication between managers and employees.

Expanding integrations with tools like Gusto or Rippling would make it even more powerful for companies using multiple HR solutions.

Time Off by HR Cloud makes managing employee absences simple and transparent. It eliminates manual tracking, prevents overlapping schedules, and ensures accurate leave balances—saving time for both HR and employees.

The implementation phase was not easy, but Bruno made a great difference. His professional and friendly attitude, always ready to help, was truly amazing. It is great to work with him, as he did his best to adapt the system to our needs

**What do you dislike about Time Off by HR Cloud?**

The system has several shortcomings. Although one of its features is the ability to personalize documents for signature, it was not possible to configure it properly. Additionally, it is not compatible with our time and attendance tool, leading to duplicated efforts internally. The portal also offers limited customization options and remains fairly basic

**What do you like best about Time Off by HR Cloud?**

The program is very user friendly.  We have employees that don't use the internet that easily can use this program.  They can quickly see how much time they have available and request time off with the click of a button.

**What do you dislike about Time Off by HR Cloud?**

The company calendar has an area where you can see everyone that has requested time off in the weekly view.  If more than a few people have requested time off the program lumps the requests together and you will need to click the "Time Offs" link in order to see them.  It would be much easier if I could just see them all at one time for the whole week.

**What problems is Time Off by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had employees calling every day to see how much time they had available.  Now all they need to do is log on. This is saving on our clerical time and allowing more time for other tasks.

**What do you like best about Time Off by HR Cloud?**

Easy to use with app or web-service, flexibility of system, able to use 0.5 day accruals, reports for time off use.

**What do you dislike about Time Off by HR Cloud?**

The balance page can be a bit confusing to interpret. It would be nice to be able to view who else is off at the same time while approving a request instead of switching out of the approval view.

**What problems is Time Off by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As our business grew, it became difficult to track time off and approve larger teams. We were previously using a spreadsheet so this has elevated our practices around approving our time off. The calendar integration makes it quite easy to see who's off and it's convenient.

After implementing HR Cloud, we were able to track global PTO in one platform.

The customer support was not ideal, we regularly chased down the point person to get any support.

Prior to HR Cloud, we were tracking all PTO manually.

**What do you like best about Time Off by HR Cloud?**

The reason that we purchased HR Cloud was that we have been desperately looking for a system to provide a company-wide PTO Calendar view for so long now.  HR Cloud is literally one of the only systems out there that could accommodate our needs. What I liked best about the actual implementation was the level of customer service and overall customer experience that we were provided by our account representative (Lea).  She was extremely prompt, professional, and thorough with every step along the way including misunderstandings / hiccups that can occur with a new system roll-out.  She made the experience wonderful and positive, it was truly a pleasure to work with her and we would not have had the same experience without her.  She is very good at what she does and works seemingly around the clock to provide us with the amazing customer experience that we had.  I felt like she really cared about the overall success of the implementation and was part of our team.  She answered all of our questions, was quick to jump on meetings, provided us access to documents and user guides, took product requests, and even created documentation to help us along the way.  Thanks Lea for all that you do!

**What do you dislike about Time Off by HR Cloud?**

A lot of what we disliked was modified by the development team.  I really don't have much to say here.  The product is customizable and the development team actually takes customer requests and delivers - which can be rare to come across these days.  If I had to pick one thing - it would be the verbiage / visibility of the "Balances" page that can be a little confusing for the end-user.  We had a lot of internal questions about this view from employees, it's not the most intuitive.

They are taking development requests from us to make the product and end-user experience stronger.

Ease of use for employees and management alike.  And as the final approver for time off, Ieasy for me to manage as well.

Since it is not a timekeeping piece, I have to audit it to make it match the earned PTO in our timekeeping/payroll system
