What do you dislike about Techugo?
Poor engineers who do not know how to design complex solutions. As a startup entrepreneur, the most important thing we look for in a 3rd party development team is to release good code really fast. However, their team took more than 1 year to release a beta app and website, that too with a convoluted schema design, bad APIs written, and really awful development practices followed for both frontend as well as backend.
Finally, when we released our app and website, we ended up working on it from the scratch with our in-house team and incurred a lot of technical debt that we are working on even now.
In short, the management should look into the developers they are hiring and consider hiring good developers, which can add strong value to startup entrepreneurs like me. Do not recommend them currently because of this! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is Techugo solving and how is that benefiting you?
To build the tech platform to onboard our customers and to provide an online experience to both our buyers and sellers, hence helping them to get a digitized supply chain in the process.
We released our beta version products with Techugo, but did not benefit anything from them, because we released super late into the market, almost 9-10 months later than planned, which in terms of startup timeline is like centuries! We also got really naive code with bad development practices followed, which we could not do anything to understand, because of the lack of technical knowledge in our team back then (we did not have any engineers then).
The way they write code, they should be able to release in record times, because in many instances in our codebase, we saw code copied as it is from Stack Overflow!
A very bad experience for us overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
