**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

I appreciate TalentLMS for its easy-to-use user interface that makes navigating and managing tasks such as creating new courses, assigning them to groups, and managing user access straightforward. The interface is well-structured and intuitive, allowing me as a super admin to efficiently accomplish my goals without confusion. The customer support team is extremely prompt and knowledgeable, always providing clear and reliable assistance whenever needed. Additionally, the frequent addition of new features continuously enhances the platform's capabilities and keeps the experience fresh and valuable. The well-documented and up-to-date knowledge base serves as a useful resource for finding quick solutions, contributing to a smooth and efficient user experience. Furthermore, TalentLMS offers a broad feature set and pricing plans that are affordable, particularly important for self-funded projects like mine.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

I find the updated User Interface to have a learning curve and some actions require extra clicks, which makes it less intuitive than before. The new login process for super admins, although it aims to enhance security with multi-factor authentication, is cumbersome. Every time I log in, an email is sent to my registered email address, and I must click a link to access my account, which is not as smooth as I expected. It would be more user-friendly if they implemented an OTP sent to email or phone. This complexity slightly detracts from the otherwise smooth user experience I expected from TalentLMS.

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TalentLMS to assign activities, manage access, and handle user accounts easily, enhancing the organization of language learning. Its user-friendly interface and excellent customer support streamline my administrative tasks.

I’m not able to feed data from ADP, which is a major limitation for me. Also, there isn’t an option to tier employees by job titles and levels. It would be really helpful to have a dropdown where I can customize and manage those titles.

Being able to train employees at scale has been really helpful. It supports our company’s compliance efforts and makes it easier to keep everyone aligned.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

We used TalentLMS for many years. It was a great platform for basic e-learning management, until they began to introduce many tools that caused modules to be proprietary. In other words: anything put into their platform would be coded to be unique to their platform, making it nearly impossible to export or download your own content. This was clearly done to make it more difficult to switch platforms, and was additionally tied to a dramatic price increase. Avoid them at all costs.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

This company is a subscription scam. Do not enter any payment method onto their website - for a trial or otherwise. We were actually a customer for many years... when we finally canceled our subscription, they became extremely difficult to work with. Then, they still charged our payment method (thousands of dollars), and then refused to refund any amount. Do NOT trust TalentLMS.

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They do not solve any problems for us.

We take claims like this seriously. TalentLMS is a subscription-based service with clear renewal and cancellation terms, and charges are not made arbitrarily. That said, if a cancellation request was not handled correctly, that could point into a gap in how the request was processed, not an intent to mislead or overcharge. Billing issues are always reviewed case by case, and refunds depend on timing and contract terms.
At this point we want to clarify that you can cancel the subscription at any time through the interface so it won’t renew into a new billing cycle as long as the cancellation is completed before the renewal date/time. The steps are described in the public support article found in the URL below.
If you’re open to it,  please reach out to our Support team using one of the available methods described in the article, so this can be reviewed transparently and resolved properly.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

I appreciate that TalentLMS serves as a comprehensive internal learning platform for both employees and contractors, eliminating the need to explore different platforms for each country as a global employer. The short course duration of approximately 15 minutes is a perfect fit for our busy schedules, making it feasible for participants to engage in training without extensive time commitments. I value how the platform frames questions to challenge critical thinking, effectively assessing more than just surface knowledge. This aspect is especially beneficial for knowledgeable managers, as it provides them with an opportunity to test and refine their skills. Furthermore, the customer experience and onboarding team were incredibly helpful during the initial setup, ensuring a smooth transition to TalentLMS without any issues on their part.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

70% of our users did not like the animation style. We understand it is a cost-effective option, but an attractive animation style would create a better user experience. As an admin, it wasn't easy for me to understand the system unless I attended a few training sessions offered by TalentLMS. I also don't find the partial integration with BambooHR very helpful. The only struggle was with the turnaround time on getting responses from the Customer Support team after sending an email.

TalentLMS serves as a single platform for global employee training, fitting into busy schedules with concise courses and challenging quizzes. **What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

I am using TalentLMS for the long time and me and my company admin can easily create courses and upload videos, SCORM, assignment and more. TalentLMS works with small teams or thousands of learners. TalentLMS can auto assign courses, send reminders and create learning path and ease to implement.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

TalentLMS can easily integrate with slack, shopify and zoom and provide the role management like admin, instructor and other. It also support multiple languages and nothing to dislike about it.

TalentLMS are easy to use, cloud based, fast course creation and provide custom branding. it is also scalable and provide role management.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

Talent LMS is that it’s simple to manage, uploading courses, assigning them, and tracking completions is easy. The switch from the legacy interface to the new one has been a refreshing change. It looks cleaner, feels more modern, and just makes navigation smoother. The user interface is clean, and it's easy for both admins and learners to find what they need.  I also like that it supports different content formats, so we can upload videos, PDFs, SCORM files, or even embed links without much hassle.   It keeps everything organized and makes the training flow smoother.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

One issue I’ve noticed is with images—when a course is duplicated multiple times, the image links sometimes break, especially when assigning tests. It’s not a huge blocker since we can fix it quickly by reuploading the images, but it does add a bit of extra work. Would be great if the image paths stayed intact during duplication.

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From uploading content and assigning courses to tracking learner progress—it keeps everything in one place, which makes managing learning a lot easier. It saves us time, reduces manual follow-ups, and gives clear visibility into who has completed what. For us on the LMS team, it also makes coordination smoother since everything is structured and trackable.

We’re also able to categorize the e-learning tools department-wise, which really helps. This way, we can control what content or data is shared with which type of learner. It keeps things organized and ensures that each team sees only what’s relevant to them.

Another feature that’s been really helpful is the new AI-powered course builder in TalentLMS. It lets you create course content in just a few minutes—you just give it a topic, and it builds out the structure and basic content for you. It’s a huge time-saver, especially when you need to build something quickly or don’t want to start from scratch. We’ve used it a few times to speed up module creation, and it’s surprisingly accurate and customizable.

TalentLMS is an affordable platform with an impressive suite of features available for the price. It is easy-to-use for learners, instructors, and administrators. When I have questions, their support team is quick to respond. They are working hard to implement new features, especially those to do with Artificial Intelligence (AI).

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

There are times when we experience glitches/issues with the platform that they are unable to resolve for us, yet they keep launching new features. Sometimes we think they should work at fixing the basics before adding new things.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

The basics of the platform are fairly easy to navigate - uploading content, adding/activating users. Given the time zone difference between Canada and Greece, I've often had to utilize the support center. Generally, they are very quick to respond and have provided guidance in a variety of ways: screen share recordings, reference to manuals, or just text responses. Our new account manager Maria has also been very attentive to our needs.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

Reporting capabilities are very basic. Unable to create reporting on courses grouped together to form a curriculum. Creating courses also uses the most basic of software so not as dynamic learning as would like.

Recently had an incident where a 3rd party user inadvertently changed our URL over a weekend, and the lack of customer service/resolution provided by our previous account manager was not to our satisfaction, despite escalation to your legal department. We lost confidence that this type of breach wouldn't occur in the future.

Provides 'learning for all' - houses 3rd party + internal content for all of our employees.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

I love the ability to use AI and also have free range for customization. There are so many areas that we can leverage to enhance the training we provide. The reporting has been extremely beneficial and provides helpful data. We were able to implement the content easily and quickly with an extremely high adoption rate. We had no issues transitioning from our prior platform to TalentLMS and it has already saved us hours of training time. Our onboarding with Eirini has been phenomenal and couldn't have asked for a better experience. She laid out all of the sections to review and support us with a roadmap to success. I personally would not have been able to discover all of these features on my own and to have an onboarding that was custom to our needs was more than I could have asked for.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

Some of the AI functionality can be improved upon. There were instances where the translation of our content did not hit the mark and it would be helpful to provide the tool some prompts regarding our industry and audience to generate better text. The branches feature also feels a little clunky. I may be misunderstanding it's use, but it does not feel very seamless.

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TalentLMS has made training scalable for our organization and saved us hours already. Our training department only consists of 3 staff members including leadership for an organization close to 500 employees. Onboarding, job training, and continuing education has been such a hurdle for this size of a team but TalentLMS has helped us start paving the road to increased competency within our org.

We use TalentLMS to host our SCORM courses. It is easy to setup and monitor. I have to say the support is outstanding. Very responsive.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

I think TalentLMS is overall a great product and well constructed. However, our learning is for external customers and it would be nice if there was a way to setup learning paths. This would include suggestions for learners to access outside resources. 
Also  more options for company branding. Right now learners know they are accessing our learning through a third party tool ( more options for the home page to look like a company website).

A platform to host learning for our customers who are learning about our software products and how to use those products. Also our product certifications are hosted through TalentLMS>

I wish I had better knowledge on how to run reports quickly for those who completed multiple trainings. I may simply need more time to better understand options.

There were certain courses authored by our Learning Solutions [LS] Team which affected our completion of all site's completion. We had to postpone the release of the said course and as soon as our LS Team received a confirmation that the issue has been resolved, we were able to complete it. LS Team shared how responsive and helpful TalentLMS support is. Also, we had issues of agents missing to complete the mandatory courses and with the help of the calendar,  the completion rate greatly increased!

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

TalentLMS provides a solid foundation in managing employee and external registrations. I use TalentLMS everyday. The ease of navigation is self explanatory and the ease of implementation is a simple click process. The homepage is like an executive report, providing a high level overview of training, logins, completions over specified periods. When following up on learners, the option of mass emails directly from the platform is an excellent tool for quick and easy communication. The reporting can be customized according to my needs. There are so many features from course store, branches, groups and many integrations to 3rd party applications. Automatic reregistrations are useful when setting certification expiry dates, learners are auto assigned to do the course again to achieve a valid certificate. I have had no real need to contact the TalentLMS Customer Support as the system is stable.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

There are so many useful course store modules. I struggle to use the course store modules to add it to a bigger course made up of several modules. It would be great if we can add specific catelogue modules to make up a customized course.
I would like to create a custom training register and with one click of a button, to generate individual training registers with all training assigned to that individual. At present, I need to generate a training reister for bulk learners and then need to break each one down into seprate registers and or create a custom training register per employee, which is not ideal as I would need close to 300 custom report registers.

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking of certified courses as some of our training is mandatory. Having TalentLMS track learners progress, issuing automated customized certificates and keeping an expiry date of the certificate, it is no longer required to check certificates monthly as TalentLMS reregisters learners when certificates are about to expire. This saves time, resources and energy. TalentLMS is also excellent for tracking all our external training and the custom report fields are excellent in that I can add whatever information I require and align information required to our Work Skills Plan WSP. Simpler, better, definitely faster.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

The easy way to start with a cheap, maybe free version of the LMS. Also, the support team is great! Never experienced such a great and quick support. Whatever you ask, answers are usually there in less than an hour, latest it's about two hours. And that was the same in the free version at the total beginning, 11 pm in the evening - or let's call it night :)
We now have more than 2000 users in the system in over 100 branches, that are mainly partner companies who manage their own teams in the system.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

Hard to say. Currently, our biggest issue is the daily reminder about Instructor Led Training (ILT). 10 days of training currently means daily reminders about every single day for the single users. This was not the case in our beginning up to 2021, but then it changed.
But: I've been in contact with the support, and it's at least on the feature wish list now :)

So if this is the biggest issue, issues aren't really there.

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly it reduced the hours of theoretical training (eTraining instead of PowerPoint in classrooms) and gives the chance to provide much more training in total. As we mainly offer customer support on site (International), it's great to have a system that provides 24/7 training for technicians and mnanegers.

The interesting thing about it is that it's still in development, and coming out with new features. The fact that you can have your online lessons + a variety of ways to test students and their homework is quite nice, and I look forward to seeing how that will improve in the future.

Update from 11NOV'24:
As of recent, they have added the AI features that help you write text, generate images and even entire courses.
If the topic is a general one, easily accessible to the public - it does quite a nice job. For cases where you have something that's company-specific, it can get it wrong here and there, but you can still use the overall structure of the unit, which provides a pretty good inspiration (and a good starting point) on how you want your future courses to look.
That's not something I thought I needed, but it's a good addition that helps save time, especially if you're not just importing courses from a different platform.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

I guess one thing that I miss is the fact that I still don't see integration with google meet, since it's one of those platforms where you're not really limited to the number of participants and some users are more used to it than zoom.

The possibility to teach people remotely, sometimes without even the need of an instructor, if the lessons are done properly. Also the fact that they have their own library courses comes in handy in some situations, which you can adapt to your own style.

We have been able to solve both forward-facing learning needs with the various landing pages we can customize for our customers.  We also have a great internal learning platform from onboarding, technical training, compliance training, and leadership training that we can administer to our employees.

We provide training in multiple languages in four countries. The ease in which TalentLMS can be configured to meet multi-lingual needs is fantastic. It helps us help our customers break through language barriers to promote learning and grow our business.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

Whenever I can communicate with someone via email the customer service is great!  They do their best to answer my questions and often even send short video clip tutorials when needed.  That is extremely helpful!  Everyone I have spoken with have been friendly.  TalentLMS is easy to use.  I have been in my role for about 7 months and it did not take me long to catch on.  Also, our TalentLMS Account Manager helped me, by sending me resources and tips to learn the new TalentLMS system.  I use TalentLMS on a daily basis for my job.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

I tried several times to use the Chat customer service option, but it seemed as if it did not connect.  Then, about a day or two later, I received an email that appeared as if someone was trying to answer my chat.  However, it never came through on my side and I had difficulty reaching a person to help me.  Also, I am sad to hear that the service is going up so high after this upcoming year.  Once that happens, I'm afraid that it will be out of our price range.

TalentLMS allow us to offer online courses to Administrators and Teachers that helps them renew their educator licenses.  It also allow us to process the license credit for in-person educational seminars and workshops.  A big part of that process is the survey evaluation that users complete at the end of their course.  Also, TalentLMS integrates well with our Stripe account that is used for payment.

The TalentLMS support team are friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and fast. I have never had to wait for more than a few hours for a response to my question, even with a significant time different. The team ensure you are fully satisfied with your answer.

Some functions, such as recording attendance to ILT sessions, can be a bit clunky. For example, it would be helpful to be able to delete an ILT session that has passed without removing the attendance of the session from a user's learning profile. It would also be helpful to add a "middle" manager level to users. For example, it would be helpful to allow our branch administrators to be able to create and edit their own courses, without giving them access to editing courses that we have provided to them.

TalentLMS's flexible and intuitive interface allows web-based trainings to be more interactive and fun. I love that there are several activity types our team can add to make the experience be more than just scrolling through Training Slides. I appreciate the more recent update where we have an option to sign up on specific courses on our own. This makes Continuous Learning more proactive and less of a chore.

I am not the biggest fan of the Instructor and Administrator view -- mostly because it looks a lot more clinical than the Learner page. A splash of color/charts might do it well. A word bank showing learner feedback would be great as well

It is solving our dire need for a good e-learning platform. Not everything needs to be Instructor-led so it's nice to have an interactive tool we can use and customize.

The support my company has received from both the Talent LMS helpdesk and from our dedicated Rep has been flawless. They are quick to respond, knowledgeable, and courteous. 

Building courses is intuitive and efficient; learning the system took very little time.

The transition from their legacy interface to the new interface was clunky, but our rep and the helpdesk were supportive through the process. 

Not being able to download our lessons in SCORM format has created a few challenges, but nothing we can't handle.

Talent LMS is perfect for delivering, managing, and tracking our company training programmes. In our company, we use the product every day, it is very easy to use and training others to use the product takes little time. Setup was very easy and their customer support are friendly and easily helped me when I had some difficulties with change of ownership.

Only that the basic course builder is a little limited, however its so easily paired with other authoring tools that can offer a much wider variety of options.

TalentLMS allows me to assess companywide understanding by looking at quiz scores and speed of course completion. It enables me to assess problem areas within the course, without relying on specific user feedback, especially as new joiners may not realise things are wrong. Talent LMS is a very good product.  But what makes it outstanding is the team that stands behind it.  I've worked with two other LMS products and various other SaaS products.  Talent is the best I've ever seen.  Ever.  Full stop.

Any SaaS product has things that are not perfect, and that is true of Talent LMS.  But that does not concern me because they always listen to my questions and concerns, follow up and either help me achieve my goals or confirm my concerns, and explain the situation. Reasonable customers and work with minor issues as long as the communication is good.

The LMS provides a lot of features but is laid out in such a way that you can use the most common features without having to dig through menus and sub menus. 

The editing interfaces are great and support a wide range of media and content.

There's always room for improvement, the ability to create exams and use uploaded content to generate AI polished lessons will certainly improve over time. But it is a good start.

- very intuitive to use - if you have worked with an LMS before, you´ll have no problem to work with this
- it has all the basic functions you need, from building courses, uploading SCORM, to notification and reporting
- you can create "branches" to onboard different companies, which was crucial for us
- the sales process was very smooth and the support team is great

We´re in the process of setting TalentLMS up for us, so I cannot give any information beyond that; but we´re pretty happy with it. It´s ideal if you´re looking for something easy and clean that covers the basics :)

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

- I´d love to have more customization options, e.g. using our company font
- Some more detailed functions, such as using the same centrally implemented platform-wide feedback survey after each course, doesn´t exist
- The German version uses the formal "Sie"; however, we always use the informal "Du"

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A platform that is easy to use and can be "operated" by one person, or a small team (which we are). TalentLMS is thought-through; it offers all the necessary functions we need, AND - this was super important for us - the "branches" feature is what we need to serve our business model: educating customers. This is something not every LMS in this price category offers. The sales and support team was super friendly and supportive from the start, which definitely factored into our decision to choose TalentLMS.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

TalentCraft, which is the AI helper in content creation is really really nice. Not only for the content but to make your own content look nicer as it gives the hability to create a training Webpage style instead of a blank page with only a video, do next, read, do next, etc. It's more interactive. It made our move over a tad longer, although still pretty easy, during implementation, but the result after was so worth it and improved our internal training with our team by 1000%. 
The team I spoke with is already really nice and they are actively working on new features. 
It's easy to use, at all levels. We use it for internal training and even external candidate testing. 
A really nice tool.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

That some features are still not moved from the legacy version to the new version, like the progress tracking and access to tests and survey, which lead to our team having to move from 1 version to another all day based on what tasks we have to accomplish on it. 
I would also like the ability to be emailed the answers of a tests on the spot, not juste the score.

The ability to offer uniform training for our team in our 24/7 operation reality.

It is very difficult to maintain paperwork to track the learning and difficult to deliver the content every time manually. We are using it in our company to deliver the content easily and track the status.

I enjoy that we have the option to create courses and give users the option to self enroll based on their needs. Another great option are the pre made courses found in the Talent Library, they are short and concise. They also have a 5 question quiz at the end to test user knowledge.

Our company did not having a learning management system. Now that we have one, I can't stop raving about it. It has been such a game changer during the training period. The website is user friendly and I love all the features. I love that we are able to track employees' progress and create a learning path for each employee. The training is truly customized for each person.

I really don't have anything negative to say about the software. It has been amazing.

The Interface is very easy to understand. We can onboard trainers in a matter of hours instead of days. Our Account rep. has been very responsive to any and all issues or questions we have. There is a feature rich Reporting focus which our Trainers have very much appreciated. Learners are also reporting that the interface is very easy to understand and there is very little learning curve needed to get around

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

Some of the Filtering and Auto assignments could be better. but I know they have improvements for this on the way

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We continually struggle with On-Boarding Training and prior to TalentLMS we were doing most of our training in a classroom environment several times and day/week. This has allowed us to offload our repetitive training into a scalabel structure and allowed us to On-Board faster. We have Several Business structures that need custom on-boarding TalentLMS allows us to put the creation into their hands and lessen to need for technical resources when creating content. TalentLMS has allowed us to switch gears in our training and allow the trainers to focus on individuals that need additional help and has helped us have better success for all our employees.

TalentLMS has been wonderful for our company and clients. The whole team has been so helpful with anything we need. It is easy to use and if you have a question, you can chat with someone in minutes to get an answer!

Our company has a very unusual use case for needing the LMS, so everything does not work as we need but the team is very helpful with workarounds. They even put a lot of our ideas into their development funnel for future implementation.

I like the new Beta version and also since there has been a lot more upgrades coming than the previous version. It provodes my learners with a more modern and interactove experince. Its easy to use and implement.

The support via email can takes to long at times ot be answered and resolved. Also it needs ot be mre localised for Africa as an exapmple include some local currencies such as the South African ZAR. it helps that we can display cost in a local currency to attract more participants. Also some areas like catagories can be better designed.

|It allows be to training people in the fintech and financial servoces industry not just in south africa but on the continenet as a whole and the middle east.

I like the customer service and I like how quickly you can get help. The platform has a lovely new interface also. It is easy to implement and relatively easy to work with once familiar.

The new interface is quite difficult to use sometimes since it is so different to the old one but it is an essential part of the use exoerience so we are keen to use it. Reports can also be clunky sometimes and don't generate the data you need.

It is helping us monitor completion rates and regulate them, meaning our stakeholders are kept up to date with all our offerings.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

The interface is not only easy to use from and admin and trainer perspective, but the new user interface for the end user is fantastic. The wide variety of content types is also a plus, and the new talentcraft unit type is a game changer! It really allows us to put out modern looking training that our users enjoy! Lastly TalentLMS onboarding and support after go live has really made the switch to their product a no brainer.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

Talent LMS has been a great product overall and we highly reccomend it. One small thing that we have had to find a workaround for is when courses expire and the learners has not completed the course, it locks them out. From our perspective we would love the option to let the learner keep access, but we would be able to report that they just did not complete the course by the expiration "due date".  That would help us encourage teams to complete training by the deadline we set.

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Talent LMS solved the problems we had in our old LMS system and gave us much more flexibility to build out a robust LMS that the end users really enjoy. From Unit types, to gamification, to automations and notifications TalentLMS has let us step up our Learning and Development game for our company and it has been a game changer in jus the 6 months we have been live. We have gone from a 63% completion rate before the course expires in our old LMS to an 82% completion rate in TalentLMS!

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

TalentLMS is a versatile, easy to setup and use LMS. The new user interface makes it easy to navigate and manage users/courses. With features like gamification and simple, but comprehensive assessments/learning activities, it helps us to keep track of our employee's learning progress, but also that of our external learners.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

At times the first-line support/account managers can seem as if they don't know the product as well as you would expect, especially in terms of being able to explain its functionality. Not to say that the support isn't good, which for the most part it is. 

It would be good if more development/thought were put into true learning paths, being able to define learning paths based on roles/abilities, etc would be helpful.

The new user interface is amazing, but there are some pages you cannot use on a mobile device now which you could before, forcing you to a desktop computer which seems a bit counterproductive in 2024.

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Initially it solved the issue when we had to retrain our 80+ field staff during lockdown. Previously we used SharePoint to host our learning documentations and catchup recordings. Being able to manage our learning in one place with teams linked instruction lead training sessions was a game changer. We are now beginning to explore using different branches to develop e-learning course for our supporters.

Sometimes it can take a little while for video files to upload and process. I've noticed that they're sometimes visible in classic view before they become clickable in the newer UI.
