"A great tool with lots of potential"
What do you like best about SYNQ?

Synq is integrated with all our data stack (github, dbt, Snowflake and Looker) and in an almost seamless way. It help us to maximise our efficienty and minimise the development/maintenance cost by adding an overlay on top of dbt systems (assets, runs, alerts, tags, ...).

For me, the most important features are:

- incident management, centralised our dbt alerts, group them in a smart way and add on top of it a notion of "incident" with downstrams impacts

- data catalogue, with column lineage and nice filters

As a "new competitors" in the market, I also think they want to stay close to their customers, and listen to their feedbacks, which is very nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SYNQ?

There are some minor "UX" bugs and inconsistency. Probably because they're more focused on developing their core functionalities rather than the surface layer, but I have no doubt that it will only get better with time (and the overall UX experience is already satisfying).
