Besides this the team are constantly developing on the tooling and features, to make the product as helpfull and useful as possible. And if we have questions or bugs, the support is really easy to get a hold of and things are being addressed fast. **What do you dislike about SYNQ?** The only downside I can come up with, it that because they often develop new features, old features might be deprecated, so ways of working might need to be adjusted according to those. **What problems is SYNQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** Synq helps us notify the correct owners of data products as soon as the alert happens. So errors in the data models can be fixed as soon as possible. This is an essential aid when it comes to maintaining models. The team has also been very responsive and of great support in helping us make the most of the tool **What do you dislike about SYNQ?** The website's user interface can be somewhat difficult to navigate. Additionally, the process for triaging issues and marking them as investigating or resolved feels a bit clunky. **What problems is SYNQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** SYNQ is solving 2 core problems: it provides a centralized visual hub for failing tests and monitors, helping us identify and solve data quality issues as they arise, and it provides comprehensive lineage of data across tools. It help us to maximise our efficienty and minimise the development/maintenance cost by adding an overlay on top of dbt systems (assets, runs, alerts, tags, ...). For me, the most important features are: - incident management, centralised our dbt alerts, group them in a smart way and add on top of it a notion of "incident" with downstrams impacts - data catalogue, with column lineage and nice filters As a "new competitors" in the market, I also think they want to stay close to their customers, and listen to their feedbacks, which is very nice. **What do you dislike about SYNQ?** There are some minor "UX" bugs and inconsistency.
