What I like most about StackScan is its ability to help me research the technologies used by different websites. As someone working in sales and market research, I use it to understand what technologies businesses are using and identify potential opportunities for outreach.
I switched from BuiltWith to StackScan primarily because of the cost. StackScan offers a more affordable option for my technology research needs, making it easier to incorporate website technology analysis into my regular workflow.
I also appreciate being able to use it as a standalone research tool without needing to set up integrations with other platforms. Overall, it has become a useful part of my sales prospecting and market research process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While StackScan has been helpful for my technology research, I think there’s still room to improve how users filter, organize, and analyze the information they gather.
More advanced filtering and more intuitive ways to structure research results would make it easier to surface the most relevant businesses and narrow down prospects. It would also be useful to have clearer visibility into when a website’s technology data was last updated, so I can better judge how reliable the information is.
I use StackScan as a standalone tool, so I can’t speak to its integrations or how well it works with other platforms.
Overall, stronger research organization features and greater data transparency would make the platform even more valuable for sales prospecting and market research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
