But the more like about the GigaOM working area. Also, like how they can be used to keep up on research that would otherwise add hours and days to your schedule. **What do you dislike about GigaOM?** There was some dropoff during their time when they were either being acquired or sold, but it looks like that has settled down. As expected with any company going through this type of realignment, so not really a dislike but minimal impacted disruption. **What problems is GigaOM solving and how is that benefiting you?** For the most part they are part of our yearly reviews for technology stack, and find that they are very helpful in bringing you up to speed very quickly with what is going on in the technology landscape. I'm sure if you work with the support team they can help you. The site is easy to read and well designed. **What do you dislike about GigaOM?** Since the new owners took over, the new articles are not as good as the old ones. Before being sold, the content was much better and provided more current information and original news and content. The do not provide any deep insight into a company and don't profile emerging to new companies. I would like to learn more about what's on the horizon versus a rehash of Apple's latest OS. Their reports require a lot more detail and need to include a larger number of smaller and emerging companies in emerging areas. **Recommendations to others considering GigaOM:** There are other companies that provide much better reporting of than GigaOM, I was very impressed with the work they did in the beginning but it seems to have declined greatly over the past year or so. ### 11. They are easily the most unresponsive group of reporters I think I've ever worked with. Not the case with TechCrunch, Pando, ReadWrite, etc. **Recommendations to others considering GigaOM:** Don't bother reaching out.
