## Speakable Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI

Is Speakable free, or does it offer a free trial?

Yes. According to G2 data, Speakable offers a free plan with limited features. Users can upgrade to paid plans for additional capabilities. Visit the seller's official pricing page to compare plan options and features.

How much does Speakable cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, Speakable pricing in 2026 starts at $300.00 and can reach $3,000.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Speakable Technologies's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Speakable pricing best suited for?

Speakable's pricing is best suited for world language and K-12 educators across small and mid-market school settings, which represent the dominant reviewer segments on G2. Individual teachers benefit most from the free Teacher Plan, particularly those in small schools or self-funded situations. The Team Plan fits department-level or small-school adoption where portfolio tracking and grade passback matter. G2 reviewers in Primary/Secondary Education and E-Learning industries dominate the review pool, confirming Speakable's pricing aligns tightly with those verticals. The Organization Plan targets district-wide rollouts needing LMS integrations and org-level reporting — best suited for mid-market districts with centralized curriculum oversight and dedicated IT procurement processes.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Speakable?

Speakable's free Teacher Plan covers core classroom needs: activity creation, AI feedback and grading, and Google Classroom and Clever roster syncing. Speakable's paid plans add meaningful institutional features. The Team Plan ($300/year) introduces student portfolios, collaboration via Teamspace, grade passback, purchase order checkout, and a success manager. The Organization Plan ($3,000/year) removes AI usage limits, adds assessments, org-wide progress and curriculum tracking, custom standards, and 7+ full LMS integrations. G2 reviewers note the free version is functional but limited — one reviewer explicitly flagged that paying unlocks the features needed for deeper workflow integration, particularly portfolio tracking across large student rosters.

Is Speakable considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers rate Speakable at 4.9/5 on average, signaling strong satisfaction relative to cost. The free Teacher Plan delivers genuine classroom utility — AI grading, activity creation, Google Classroom sync — making Speakable's pricing accessible for individual educators. Paid tiers draw occasional cost complaints; one G2 reviewer noted wishing it were more inexpensive, and another paid out-of-pocket due to district PO restrictions. Yet high ratings persist alongside those complaints, marking Speakable as a premium tool that delivers on its core promise. Reviewers consistently cite time savings on grading and instant student feedback as the primary value drivers that justify Speakable's pricing for those who can secure institutional funding.

What do you like best about Speakable?

Speakable.io is your friendly neighborhood SPEAKING/PRONUNCIATION COACH, down to the syllable level!! It is an absolute must for most subjects, not just language teachers. It not only saves many, many hours, but the detailed feedback and correction does a more thorough and excellent job than any of us could do if we had literally nothing else to do. The thoughtful, sensitive, encouraging, detailed, accurate, extensive feedback with grammar correction, compliance evaluation, suggestions, and assessment per standards cannot be done by us teachers. Student portfolios keep track of ongoing progress in oral and written work, even listening and reading comprehension. Upload your own rubrics for evaluation, or ACTFL, or whichever. Social Studies, history, and language arts teachers, not just world language teachers, should be using it for oral and written exams. Up your game x 1000! The personal customer support by developers we come to know and recognize, webinars, personal zoom troubleshooting is so unusual these days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Speakable?

I'm not sure if there is an 'I give up" feature for words that are difficult to pronounce, but if not, there needs to be. My students got hung up on the French U, which modeling in the app doesn't teach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Speakable solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am a French teacher and curriculum designer/publisher. The problem Speakable solves for me : no time to tutor students individually and give substantive, effective feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
