## Arovy Reviews
 ### 1. A Game Changer for any ISV Partner or company managing multiple instances

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James M. | Head of RevOps, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

The ease of implementation and discovery. It has the in depth insights to find everything I need. Integration took seconds and their support is literally at my fingertips anytime I need help. We use this for every single on of our more complex prospects and have so far driven significant value for our business.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

As with anything Metadata api based in Salesforce the system has to work around the complexities of the SalesForce object architecture. The data dictionary does take us a long way to getting past this however.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us exact visibility into our customers Salesforce Orgs and helps us find the inflection points for our implementations. One example is an implementation that was hung up for 3 days on a problem, within 15 minutes of connecting sonar we worked past it. Its a lifesaver as is Brad and Kevin from their team.

 ### 2. An ever improving interface for SFDC metadata

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Having a central place to easily search the backend of Salesforce and see all dependencies. Sometimes the search in SFDC does not work well and does not show what you are looking for, but Sonar you are able to easily search all relevant objects/fields/ etc.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

There is not a lot of User profile management with Sonar, like resetting passwords or fully deactivating and removing users from our instance, which would be very helpful for the Sonar Admin.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sonar has solved many issues for us, the main being the timeline of changes allows us to go back and see what exactly was changed, when, and who made the change.

 ### 3. A very good and improving product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rich F. | Salesforce Principal System Administrator , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar is fast and provides needed information fast. It enables one to trace out logic and see connections between parts of one's Salesforce customizations. It enables us to organize work and functionality by tagging design elements in a flexible way. I have confidence in the stability and ability of the team that is still developing this fairly new product. A year later - many new functionalities came out this year and certain flaws were fixed. Useful for admins and developers in the Salesforce world.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Not everything works perfectly yet. On objects with hundreds of fields, the Search may or not work to find a field name. Fields related to a Workflow Rule's criterion are called out along with the rule, but, actions and the fields they involve are not called out. Practical-level functionality, such as, "tell me everything I must do, to uninstall this package" are possible to develop in this package, but it is far from that level now. But it still is helpful for a project like that. Reporting and exporting are poor.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are revamping and updating all our Lead automation with Sonar. We are tagging fields which are involved with integrations, so that we can know where values originate. We are using Sonar to make handling problems that users encounter easier and faster.

 ### 4. Top Notch Product and Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karin A. | Salesforce Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

We have A LOT of custom objects. A huge upside for me has been getting an understanding of where fields sit, what they are related to, and what automation they are a part of. As a newer admin this has been invaluable and has saved me loads of time. I am also super excited to get into field spy to understand what duplicate fields we might be able to get rid of. Also, our customer success help has been amazing. We are a smaller company but I feel like a huge enterprise client.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

I haven't found much of a downside to sonar.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I would say the biggest problem sonar solves is understanding where fields sit and what automation they are attached to. We have a lot of custom objects that are related to other objects so it makes me more efficient in diagnosing issues but also planning for new automations.

 ### 5. A must have for any SFDC Admin

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinny P. | Co-Founder & Head of RevOps, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

With Sonar it is pretty quick and easy for any SFDC admin to get into an existing org or a new org and quickly understand how the system is currently configured.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

When looking at where a field is used you currently cannot see if the usage within a Before the Save flow when using an assignment. The only way to do that currently is using SFDC's native "Where is this used?" button on custom fields.

**Recommendations to others considering Arovy:**

Stop looking and just Sonar

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you're making an overall system change and Sonar can quickly tell you what could break, where this is used, and not experience the embarrassment of breaking unrelated items by changing an API name. Sonar is also great to see your nightly syncs on what changed and who changed them. Have you ever changed a formula field and realized you completely broke the formula but didn't store your original formula? Don't worry Sonar's sync will catch that change and show you the previous formula, and what you change it to.

 ### 6. Must Have Tool for Salesforce Admins

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beniah W. | Managing Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

The at-a-glance interface of this tool. It is very intuitive and easy to use. The tool allows a Salesforce Aministrator to quickly see what is happening in their Salesforce instance, accurately estimate/anticipate the level of effort associated with a project, and provide a key stakeholder/client with documentation.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

There is nothing about this tool that I "dislike". There have been minor improvements that I would like to see. In fact, Brad (CEO) has personally jumped on calls to discuss ideas, new features and to collect feedback. This team maintains a great sensitivity to the client's needs by providing excellent customer service/support.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sonar allows me to see where and how every field in my Salesforce instance is used. This tool ensures accurate project timelines and clear scope/requirements. This tool helps you clean up a Salesforce instance that you inherited or has accumulated tech debt over the years, optimize the performance of your Salesforce instance, manage Salesforce rollouts, monitor changes, etc.

 ### 7. Very useful for finding what you need when making change requests in Salesforce

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie O. | Senior CRM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

We were super excited to get on board with Sonar for making admin tasks more efficient and easier to achieve in Salesforce. It makes it easier to search for things... For instance, find where a particular field from an object is used in a flow and then linking directly into that flow. It's more comprehensive than " Where is this used" because it gives more info.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

There are some things we wish it could do that it doesn't (yet?) - like an architectural diagram of the org. But they do at least show object relationships and how they relate.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping our Salesforce Org clean and organized. Its very useful when you have a new admin come in who doesn't know the org as well so they can find things MUCH more quickly.

 ### 8. Sonar Gives Us Amazing Insight Into Our SF Instance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane C. | Salesforce Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Three impressive features: immediately check if a field is referenced anywhere in SF by reports/flows/process builders/formulas/apex etc (and unlike the 'Where is this used' button, filter by active automations). The timeline summary shows you all metadata changes in your org for a specified timeframe and can be scheduled as a daily email. Field tagging: tag fields that are referenced by external applications (like Marketo, Outreach, Zendesk, etc) to understand any potential impacts across your tech stack when making changes in SF.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

They're constantly improving the product but it has missed some flow references in the past (for example, if the field is referenced by an assignment element). I've also had some issues logging in or with the connection failing, but support has always been quick to help.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have multiple admins and a developer, so the timeline summary helps us keep track of all metadata changes happening in SF. Field references and tagging helps us develop solutions more quickly, minimize impacts to the business when making changes, and troubleshoot issues far more quickly.

 ### 9. Sonar is great!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

I like how easy it is to use and how user-friendly it is. I've added licenses for users in our company who are less familiar with Salesforce and they're still easily finding their way around and learning about our instance.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

We have ongoing conversations about ROI and whether the price is worth what we're getting from it. I always fight that the answer is yes, but I think the ROI needs to be clearer to those that aren't utilizing Sonar from an admin standpoint, or daily.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sonar helps our admins find information quickly and easily. Its ability to search across the system saves our team a ton of time when working together or with our stakeholders. Sonar has also helped newcomers to the organization get up to speed on our Salesforce instance much faster than they otherwise would. My position works more closely with developers, and since I don't have access to our codebase, Sonar allows me to search through our code and help to troubleshoot or find the exact area that our developers need to look at. This is another huge timesaver for our team.

 ### 10. "Good" to have but not a "need" to have

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saurabh K. | Manager, SFDC Solutions, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Great place to look at all changes and references in one place.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

The tool is very minimal in what it offers and use cases are fairly limited. Also, it only looks through metadata so searching for CPQ items like price rules and product rules don't really work.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the issue of finding a where a particular field is referenced. Helpful tool for admins but developers already have the metadata in repository so not beneficial for them.

 ### 11. Sonar is great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar gives us a full view of what is going on within our Salesforce instance. If I make a change within Salesforce, I can pop into Sonar and know exactly what is being impacted and what I need to do.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Would be awesome if I had a similar view of other tools in our tech stack like we do of Salesforce, such as into Hubspot, Outreach, etc. But I wouldn't say this is a dislike, just something I hope for in the future.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Sonar, we had multiple working within Salesforce and making changes but we did not always know what those changes were and how they impacted other aspects of Salesforce, resulting in things breaking. Now we are on the same page and can see everything going on.

 ### 12. Sonar is a game changing time saver!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

I don't have to scour Salesforce for information that often took me down many rabbit holes and left the opportunity for information to be missed. The product is easy to use, easy to integrate and provides so much value. I can see quick snapshots of how my Salesforce org is doing... Updates that other Admins have done.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Not sure there are any real downsides or dislikes to this product. It is all an added benefit to our company.

**Recommendations to others considering Arovy:**

Great company with great customer support.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time saved in searching salesforce for information. Ability to tag fields with ALL the integrations so we can understand what integrations are updating Salesforce fields. Quickly find flows and link to them. Easily see the information in Salesforce with the Chrome extension.

 ### 13. Makes organizing Salesforce work simpler

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

It is a great place to start when administering Salesforce. It is easy to navigate to find the components you are working on. It also makes it easy to document and record updates related to projects and tasks. It can truly be a center for everything Salesforce (documentation, notes, technical components, business case, etc.)

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

It is a separate application, so I must log in to Sonar and salesforce. If it was embedded in Salesforce, it might make it even more accessible.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces the need for a separate document in word or google docs. It is a single place where we can record details around what is driving the functionality and the tasks for getting it done.

 ### 14. Really helpful tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie H. | Sales Ops Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

I like that we can easily see all of our salesforce fields and the way they interact. It helps a ton across our org and gives a great resource for many teams to see information quickly.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Really nothing, we have been slow to implement but that's on us!

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of data cleanup and system organization to do and Sonar lets us organize those projects across many functions and departments in a way that's transparent.

 ### 15. So key for any operations or SFDC team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riley H. | Revenue Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar helps to organize, document and prepare for minor or major changes. It also helps to understand where to troubleshoot first.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

No downsides at this time. The only downside for me is that I don't always remember to login and check Sonar before making changes.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sonar is helping map out and document our Salesforce orgs and sandboxes. It provides a blueprint for change, a training tool for new team members, and a backup plan.

 ### 16. Perfect Salesforce Sidekick

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Scoping is astronomically easier with Sonar. Sonar helps keep track of pertinent organizational info that enables us to ramp new team members and scope work faster. Improving transparency around the interrelation of objects, automation, and processes with a single source of truth has helped us do more in less time and make the work that we are doing to optimize more scalable. Love the integration with Salesforce Setup. The Sonar Team has been wonderful to work with

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

I wish page layouts and other Salesforce components were available in Sonar. Some of the exporting capabilities could be better. For the most part generating a CSV is fine but being able to export in other formats and from other places in Sonar aside from timeline would be great. I know the Sonar squad is working on a number of great changes and Ive appreciated learning more about their roadmap although recent developments (pardot) have not helped my org in particular.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sonar helps easily maintain a source of truth that withstands turnover and helps new team members acclimate to our Salesforce more quickly. Sonar has helped us avoid recreating the wheel from scratch. Sonar is excellent for delivering quick answers to complex questions from the business around system interrelatedness.

 ### 17. Sonar has been a game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar makes keeping metadata clean much easier! The other main benefit is quickly seeing how meta data is being used in automations and page layouts in order to create and edit processes faster.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

It will be really great when we are hopefully able to use Sonar for roles and profiles. It would be great to easily see who have access to what right from Sonar.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sonar is constantly adding new functionality. They really listen to their customer's needs on what would make their lives easier. The work Sonar has done with bulk tagging and working out of inititiaves has made my role as an admin much easier.

 ### 18. Seeing is Believing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blake E. | Sr. Director, Business Systems Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar has enabled our users across many salesforce orgs, teams, and departments from Sales Operations to Salesforce Administrators through to our business analysts to see fields, relationships, dependencies, and more at the tap of a button instead of needing elevated privileges into many Salesforce orgs. This enabled us to align processes quickly, extract and track down information about the fields and overall environment easily and scale our team in ways previously ONLY accomplishable by a salesforce Admin.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

One day I hope to do org:org comparison as well as pull in fields and flows by the process through to other tools (ERPs + PSA tools) outside of salesforce into a single data dictionary.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sonar is helping us data dictionary our environment as well as expose this information to other users outside of the administrative team, simultaneously, it is giving our admin the ability to cross org reference and problem solve faster, easier, and with a better experience. On top of all of this, with change tracking, we are more easily able to track down changes, by user and time frames when needed.

 ### 19. Practical and efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara L. | Salesforce Data Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Suitable for documentation organization and easy to consult. I like to receive email alerts advising about updates and changes, which helps me with page layout activities.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

The summary with updates could have links to consult the updates like the dashboards since email summary to click and consult directly makes an easier and faster process

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not involved in any Sonar problem

 ### 20. Nice visibility of what's going on

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar allows us to easily see all the changes in our SFDC environment from a day to day basis. The daily emails are very helpful and allow me to dig in when necessary.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

There are not many things I don't like about Sonar. My utilization is mainly high level so I don't see the nitty-gritty of the product which doesn't allow me to not like it.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our main initiative is to ensure that our Salesforce environment is clean and any changes are tracked. Using Sonar, we're able to ensure we're aware of everything that is going on.

 ### 21. Makes automation updates a breeze!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar allows us to navigate directly to areas of potential conflict when we are evaluating a change to field (new picklist values, deleting fields, etc). We no longer have to spend hours sifting through every piece of automation in our Salesforce instance, and can feel confident that we have a full scope of impact.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Sonar does exactly what it's meant to do, no complaints really!

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time savings when evaluating changes, easier to ramp new SFDC admins because they are able to quickly see how fields are related to automation, formula fields, etc

 ### 22. Useful and practical tool for a admin

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

SeeSonar makes it easy for a Salesforce admin to do the simple task of checking their work. It takes something convoluted withing Salesforce Setup and makes it organized.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Its a great tool but it still sit outside salesforce.com. If a chrome extension existed that sat on top of salesforce.com it would make the product even more integral

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are tediuous steps within Salesforce.com in finding how changes you make are related to other components. Salesforce the company does not provide tools to make this easy. Sonar is almost all admin focused.

 ### 23. Life Changing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse C. | Marketing Technology Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar has made communicating and gathering requirements for nearly any ask much easier than it used to be.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

I wish I could add comments on particular fields

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scoping out an entire org and seeing how one change impacts many areas, and allowing me to showcase/communciate that to my stakeholders

 ### 24. Great tool with a good value

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar has helped my team better identify fields by business units in our large salesforce org. We have also found great value in the validation rule errors.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

We would love for sonar to build a ERD generator based on tags. Currently the team handles this manually. It would save a lot of time and add a lot of value to be able to generate from Sonar.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization of tables and columns of data. Sonar gives the admins an easy way to identify how fields are being used today as well as gives analytics visibility in how to report on certain data points.

 ### 25. Much needed solution for all RevOps teams!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

We love the visbility we get from Sonar and ease of integrating to our SFDC instance, as well as identifying integration impacts.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Nothing so far! Sonar is growing quickly and communicates new product features well - excited to see what is to come!

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Biggest benefit is that as a team, we can be aware of the changes each other are making without 1,000 Slack messages a day - one consolidated platform with these changes recorded is key to successful growth/scaling of our company.

 ### 26. Incredibly helpful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily G. | Salesforce Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

I sign in to Sonar on a daily basis to check on all the automations that a given field touches to be sure I wont be breaking something by creating another automation/updating/changing a field. It has been incredibly helpful for me being a new Salesforce Administrator for a new company that has many different automations in place. I am not as familiar with flows (and we have many), so I love that there is a link in Sonar that will take you directly to the workflow, process builder page, or flow. Whenever I am trying to figure out how to create a new field/automation/business process, I always check the related fields in Sonar first to see what I could potentially be breaking. Any time someone has an error with a particular field, I check Sonar to see what potential automations could be causing the error.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

I would love it if the error logs could be clearer and actually take us to the point of an error when something breaks/maybe describe what type of error it is. It would be interesting to include a Reference Summary for custom objects as well.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving every day business problems. As I said before, we have many, many automations, so Sonar is incredibly helpful.

 ### 27. Sonar tool feedback for development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ravi Kiran D. | Senior Salesforce developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar tracking feature in PROD org regarding metadata changes.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

As of now I don't have anything about this.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sonar is much helpful in auditing the metadata changes in PROD org which is very time saving

 ### 28. One of the best POC's I've experienced

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario T. | Salesforce Technical Team Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

The way the Sonar team answered all our questions was very helpful. Especially when they gave us follow-ups on questions they weren't 100% sure on, giving examples if possible as well.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Honestly? I don't have anything that stands out

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sonar will be helping us with disaster recovery, which we do not have in place now. As well as ability to archive records due to our storage in SF being over our limit

 ### 29. Sonar makes life easier for admins

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

It's a simple interface to see how your system is set up and track changes that have been made. You can search by fields, automations, or whatever.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

It doesn't give visibility into integrations with other systems. It'd be extremely helpful to see when fields are connected to other tools in our tech stack.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our tech stack is very complex and it'd be virtually impossible to untangle our fields and automations without Sonar.

 ### 30. Helpful tool for admins

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Helps with the complexity of Salesforce by showing all the relevant moving parts when trying to make changes

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

UX can be tricky to learn at first but very helpful once you learn the ins and outs of the tool

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes it much easier to pinpoint all the areas that will be affected by making backend changes. Helps minimize the downtime and stops things from breaking as often

 ### 31. I have already recommended this application to other admins

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

The security of knowing who and when people have made changes within Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

This only allows tracking on certain changes. Ideally, it would allow even more tracking especially changes on the users.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking changes. The UI and time ranges allow for faster auditing of changes. We can run an audit log and have most of the same information but this is quicker and provides better visibility.

 ### 32. Pretty good tool for Ops

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

I like that Sonar can easily tell me any automation a field is tied to. Having come into a new Ops role in an org with automation setup before I joined, it has been helpful in understanding the relationship fields have to certain processes.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Nothing I can think of. The only thing is since I inherited the tool, I probably am underutilizing it and I'm sure there's much more I can be doing with the tool that I'm not aware of.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sonar is helping me understand field relationships and saving me time from having to dig into Salesforce and figure it out myself.

 ### 33. A crystal ball for your Salesforce org

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan G. | Director of Sales and Revenue Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Being able to see how all the fields and object are interconnected allow me to make administrative changes quicker with more confidence. In my 15 years as a Salesforce administrator, I've never had org documentation that provides the insight and clarity that Sonar provides. Not to mention the lack of constantly updating of said documentation, which hardly ever happens. I don't need to worry as much with Sonar in my back pocket.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

There is a bit of a learning curve in navigating Sonar to get where you need to go. Also, the list of org changes, while helpful, can be a lot more clear and useful.

**Recommendations to others considering Arovy:**

Have an end goal in mind. Even better if you have regular release cycles, one or more admins.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's not often I've been able to build a Salesforce org from scratch. Sonar has helped me ramp on which automations and formulas are in the org, how they were built and how they interact with one another. It's made troubleshooting user issues much easier and quicker.

 ### 34. Sonar is great for my work as I am able to see all the fields tied into different tools.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

I use Sonar when I am having trouble finding what fields is tied to what tools and the system is blocking my view as I have delegated admin and not full admin access.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

I don't really use a lot of Sonar, so when I first use it and go to the website, it's a bit confusing to navigate.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I am trying to find out if a tools field is connected to a field in Salesforce and what field that is.

 ### 35. It is foolish not to have

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trent A. | Rev Ops, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar's capabilities to have insights on fields within SFDC are unparalleled. When working in SDFC knowing how and where fields are used (flows, process builders, formulas, validation rules, reports, etc) is invaluable. I'm tasked with writing automation for 2 SFDC instances. Before I start any new project, I use Sonar to understand what is already being done.

The timeline feature gives insights into changes on APEX, Fields, Flows, Process Builders, Validation Rules, and Workflow rules. Allowing anyone to track changes made by any user within SFDC. Did something break? Check to see if it was changed.

The Initiatives function is great for reviewing functions in SFDC and allowing you to create projects around cleanups, efficiency, and more.

I am really excited about the Pardot integration coming soon, and new integrations to follow.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

My only dislike is that there are integrations/apps I'd love Sonar to have access to. Such as Roll-up helper, Zapier, and parabola.

There isn't much to dislike. The software is super powerful.

**Recommendations to others considering Arovy:**

Frankly, it is foolish not to have this in your operations tech stack. It saves lots of time when needing to track down field usage - which without, would be extremely time consuming and poking around.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sonar to track field usage and understand how fields are being utilized across native automation in SFDC. The insights into understanding what is and what can happen when building new, changing, or deleting processes is incredible.

 ### 36. A key tool to have in your quiver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edelmary N. | Revenue Operations Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

The ease of use and simplicity in UI. There's a lot of tools out there that have a lot going on when looking at your screen, and for me, it messes up with my thinking process. And when you're a new user, it could also be overwhelming as well. When I log into Sonar, the dashboard is very concise, and I can then start drilling down to looking at issues, or finding fields I need to make a change on, etc. You can tell Sonar set out to solve a specific problem out there for Salesforce admins, and is focused on that mission. Excited to see where they go, but appreciate that the product roadmap is clearly in line with making change intelligence easier.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

As others have noted, there are some things that feel incomplete, but I feel confident that as Sonar grows, these gaps will be closed, they're still young after all. Some things off the top of my head, definitely agree with SFDC shortcut sometimes taking you to Lightning, other times to Classic. It would be nice to set a preference and stop that from happening. Being able to see field usage and last modified date and by who would be great as well, since I could then determine priority when initializing a new change.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sonar as my gut check when initiating a change to fields used in multiple automation rules. For example, we made an update to the fields referenced in our lead routing process, so tagged what needed to reference the new field, and went through changes without feeling like I was missing something. It's also nice to be able to look up where a field is used in case something is failing, I can look into all possible failure points.

 ### 37. Sonar is a great help

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Animation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Seeing field dependencies is extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Can't see if a field is used on a page layout.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving a huge problem of field cleanup in our SF org and sonar is key to it.

 ### 38. Sonar Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas Z. | Senior Revenue Operations Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

The ability to track changes within your tech stack, especially workflows and processes.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

The tool is not fully baked out but updates are coming constantly

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to track changes to metadata

 ### 39. Debugging Efficiency.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

I like how Sonar Provides my team with a seamless way to understand and observe our salesforce instance.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Sonars pricing model is confusing. I feel that it should be priced on how complex the salesforce instance.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sonar solves the problem of searching through salesforces UI saving us tons of time and prevents us from having to hire outside consultants.

 ### 40. Salesforce Admin Must Have

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine M. | Director of Revenue Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar gives me the ability to confidently: plan, troubleshoot, and summarize changes made within our Salesforce instance.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Not much to dislike. Sometimes it's tricky to login via Salesforce when trying to use the hover help, but it's possible that's user error :)

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sonar in a few key areas. First, as a preventive measure to gain confidence when making changes - this is especially important as the database ages with multiple admins and code/customization debt. If I can identify any downstream impacts before making updates, the changes will be more seamlessly implemented and more readily adopted. I also use it to troubleshoot. Any time there is an issue, I first go to sonar to investigate the root cause. And lastly, I use it as a historical look back - what are the people and applications doing in the system to see if I missed anything or need to address anything. The daily email summary is one of the first emails I read every morning.

 ### 41. A great way to round out your data strategy (and give admins a boost)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott N. | Sr. Director, Business Systems, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

There are a couple of things that are core to a solid data strategy: the ability to identify and clean redundant, inaccurate data; the ability to backup and recover field-level data for corruption/changes and deployment security; and a clear understanding of metadata relationships and foundational administrative changes.

It is not possible to throw enough people at administering the growing technology stacks and continue managing technical debt. Stakeholders throughout the business need to be empowered to be effective - the challenge can be visibility, communication, and proactive solutions.

Sonar provides tactical value with the cleanest UX to dive through webs of Salesforce data. They are constantly innovating and listening to customer feedback. It proactively calls out inactive or deleted picklist values referenced in validation rules, shows you what process nodes fields are referenced in, and has slick new functionality to show what reports use fields as filters or columns. Typically, the report filter search was only found through an IDE solution - Huge value in removing or updating fields and field values. As a leader, I am able to empower key stakeholders in the organization to make specific Salesforce updates and see a daily digest of metadata changes made. It will show the before and after states and sort through this change log as needed.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

I do not dislike anything. There are some opportunities to make it even better and they listen to that feedback.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mitigation of risk during deployments. Better alignment between departments. Proactive fixes that could have impacted data or user workflow. Constant cleansing and re-architecture of tech debt. Better security through metadata change tracking and backups. All of these impact the decisions made by the company, the end-user workflows (lack of tech distractions), and give a great resource to our admin/dev team to help execute with confidence.

 ### 42. Why didn't this product exist years ago?!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter D. | O, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar has saved my Team and me countless hours when problem-solving errors in our Salesforce environments. Historically, we only had the 'Where is this used' button but being able to see all field references across the entire Org and now even within Reports is a life saver.

Any Admins reading this review that don't already have Sonar, what on Earth are you waiting for?

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

I would like to have a more native integration directly within Salesforce rather than switching to the Sonar site, but I know this is already on the roadmap

**Recommendations to others considering Arovy:**

Sign up now!

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An example of where this has saved us countless hours is in reference to the build and rollout of CPQ within our Org. An external consultant managed this, and 18 months managed this down the line we had quite dramatic updates within our Org, that caused part of the custom CPQ functionality to fail. By simply using Sonar to see where old APIs were referenced within APEX, Flows & Process Builders enabled us to resolve the issue within hours, rather than days.

 ### 43. Sonar makes salesforce so much more usable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

The searchability of specific flows or objects throughout my org

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Sonar is not cheap, that said it is worth every cent.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a perpetual problem hunting down old and forgotten flows and ensuring they are (or aren't) affecting anything else. Sonar makes that much easier

 ### 44. Its an amazing product. Its the best investment we made for the company.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hitesh T. | Revenue Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

The ease in search for a specific field and its relationship to other fields. It helped us a lot to go through major clean ups for various objects in our org. not aware of any competitors

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

It does not work well on the Safari browser. The scroll down does not work in Safari when you are looking at an object. The Sonar team is aware. They havent come up with a solution for it yet but hopefully soon.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The excessive fields that get created and do not get used over time. The multiple process builders which are not working its easy to identify what exactly is wrong with those process builders. It assists us with field dependencies as well.

 ### 45. I use Sonar for Initiatives. However, I find it challenging to track ALL components. No Record Types

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

I like the "Drillable" aspect of Sonar. Where I can select a Metadata component and very quickly navigate to where it referenced within other Metadata components.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Sonar still feels incomplete, but I know it is a new tool! Example: I feel like when I click the SFDC shortcut button, sometimes it takes me to Lightning, while other times I'm taken to Classic. I love using initiatives, but I know there is more potential for further building out this piece. Example: Adding the Components to a Task is excellent, but I find wanting more space to leave context for those Components within the Task. It would be great to add a Component to a Task and leave a Note on one specific Component within that Task.

**Recommendations to others considering Arovy:**

Great tool to provide "non admin" users an admin perspective of Salesforce with an easy to navigate user interface

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have also found myself checking Sonar for where Components are being used, and then finding different answers directly within Salesforce by using the "Where is this used?" button. I still find Sonar helpful in quickly navigating various Components for quick insights, as well as tracking a set of Components through Initiatives. However, with the feeling of the system being "incomplete," I find myself feeling skeptical of the info presented to me at times.

 ### 46. Where have you been all my life

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cliff S. | Vice President of Sales & Revenue, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar literally saves me and my team hours of having to pour through SFDC Instances to find validation and syntax errors. It also gives me a snapshot over time on how well were doing in the instance and allows us to easily show the effect were having within an org.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

I cant wait for them to do this for hubspot too.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This saves literal hours in the way that we deal with accounts and look for landmines. It helps my team know where the bodies are buried.

 ### 47. Excellent tool for a full 360 view of your Salesforce instance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody N. | Director, Business Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Setting up Sonar is a breeze. Connect your Salesforce organization, and Sonar will do the rest. Within a few hours, you have your initial view of your Salesforce instance.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

I would love to see additional information on field-level utilization. I also feel like there is value in greater security inside of the application. We are limited to what we can control our users from seeing.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce isn't the best about automated testing and field management. Sonar provided us with an easy view of our fields, automation, and object configuration. We've used Sonar on most projects.

 ### 48. Change Management and Digital Data Dictionary

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike G. | Manager, Business Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Sonar makes it easy to view changes in Salesforce across your team, no matter how big or small your business is.
Sonar has a data dictionary component called tagging, which allows you to tag fields that pertain to certain topics/systems/integrations.
Sonar's level of service is responsive and caring when intaking feedback from their customers.

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

There are some features in Sonar that can be misleading or missing, but the development team is actively working on improvements.
For instance, LOOKUP fields that reference fields on the LOOKUP object are not yet recognized in formula fields within Sonar.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to find where fields/reports/automation is being used.
Simple dashboard to check which changes were made in Salesforce, and who made them.

 ### 49. Uniquely Helpful Software Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Holly M. | Salesforce Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

Integration with Salesforce metadata. Simple UI. Fantastic customer support

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

Have to re-sync after a sandbox refresh. Not a big deal but sometimes I forget

**Recommendations to others considering Arovy:**

If you want to spend an entire day figuring out the dependencies of fields before implementing a new process in Salesforce and then uploading your changeset 14 times because you keep forgetting to add new fields, don't bother with Sonar.
If you would prefer to get the above done in a few minutes, then Sonar is for you.

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Initiatives to organize projects and help with changesets and documenting after the project is complete.
Sharing real-time project statuses with other team members.
Easily find where fields are referenced throughout Salesforce.

 ### 50. DevOps for RevOps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kumail M. | Director, Revenue Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Arovy?**

For an extremely long time, there hasn't been a good detailed technical view into the Business systems ecosystem. The ability to view where a field is leveraged (Reports/Workflows/Flows/Triggers). I also love the fact that i get not only a detailed view into Salesforce but also Pardot!!!

**What do you dislike about Arovy?**

I love everything but would love the ability to get a systems integration map into the system and manage the entire tech stack

**What problems is Arovy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From an SFDC Maintenance and development perspective, the time to execute changes has reduced dramatically given the increased visibility.
