# Which enterprise mobility management tools have strong threat detection and rapid response capabilities for security teams?

I've been looking into enterprise mobility management tools with threat detection and rapid response capabilities for security teams. Enrollment and policy management get most of the attention in EMM evaluations, but what a platform does when something actually goes wrong matters just as much. A few from the enterprise mobility management category worth considering:

Iru: AI-powered threat detection with predictive modeling that kills malicious processes before execution. Reviewers describe the lightweight agent as invisible to end users while delivering real-time remediation.

IBM MaaS360: Proactive Threat Defense that detects phishing and malware in real time, with AI-driven risk ranking to help teams prioritize response.

Jamf: Continuous compliance monitoring with Apple endpoint telemetry that surfaces security posture in real time. How deep does the threat detection go beyond policy compliance checks?

Cisco Meraki: Network-level visibility combined with device management gives security teams a broader view across both devices and infrastructure simultaneously.

Has threat detection actually been a deciding factor in your EMM choice, or did it come second to enrollment and policy management?

For security teams, the deciding factor is whether the platform can move from detection to action quickly without waiting on manual investigation. Enrollment and policy management still matter, but strong EMM tools should also help contain compromised devices before they become broader endpoint or data exposure risks.
