And not just any type, but professionally and modern-looking presentations. SlideLab not just comes with many features to help you create the best possible presentation, but it also provides a great workflow that allows you to create one in a few moments. And keep in mind that making a solid presentation is not that easy, as you have to put all the pieces together in a comprehensive way. The user-friendly ribbon at the top also enables me to insert text, images, and videos to suit my needs based on the templates. **What do you dislike about SlideLab?** At the present time, SlideLab does not include advanced collaboration tools. This makes it challenging to work with the colleagues on presentations because in case of revisions and feedback, it becomes hard. **What problems is SlideLab solving and how is that benefiting you?** SlideLab is great for making professional-looking presentation in a matter of minutes, all by yourself. This means that the pre-designed templates which are used save the need for designing while the interfaces are efficient. ### 2. On SlideLab you also get an idea about how you can create your presentation. **What do you dislike about SlideLab?** Its a little different from standard microsoft slideshows due to which newcomers can take time to get familiar with it. its not free application after the trial version if you want to keep using it you have to pay the fees for it. **What problems is SlideLab solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use it to create presentations which turns out to be unique and eye catching thanks to SlideLab. I can share my presentation very easily with others or my stakeholders by just making it public and sendling the link to them instead of uploading the who presentation ### 5. I also liked the simplicity of the program. It wasn't overwhelming to use a first-time user, and it was free to sign up for! I also liked using this with my students to teach them the basic skills to creating a slide presentation. I liked that it was easy to log in as a Google user which also helped my students because they have to use their Google login for everything! I also liked that I could use this program to help differentiate in my classroom. Not all students do well with a lot of choices and templates to choose from, they get distracted. So I liked having this as an alternative option becuase some of my students prefer this program over something like Slidedecks or Google Slides. I also like that I'm not getting spam emails from this program, although I didn't even get a welcome email when joining. Honestly, I tried the site because I just like trying new things and giving my students time to compare and contrast programs as it teaches them evaluation skills. **What do you dislike about SlideLab?** I found that there wasn't a lot of room for creativity within this program. Meaning changing a lot of the fonts, colors, graphics, and tempolates. It was basic, which helped with the ease of creating content, but the slides were not quite as engaging as the slides of slidedeck. There is not as many graphic and charts available to add compared to other slide presentation programs. Also, it is another site my students had to go to, it was not easily accessible as compared to powerpoint or google slides. I also disliked that I had to jsut spend time exploring the site to figure out how to best use it. There were not helpful videos avilable or step by step instructions to give our best pointers! There is also a help button on the site but it is basically an email format. I'm not sure how detailed it allows you to be and how they would contact you back. It seems to be a chat message. I also haven't found a chrome extension for this site which is really helpful for my students in the classroom when we use it consistently. Overall, I felt like I had to really figure out this site for myself and didn't have nayone to go to for help. I had to naviagate the site and copy elements of slides into my presentation from other sites or platforms. **Recommendations to others considering SlideLab:** I would recommend having an idea of what you want your presentation to look like before beginning your project. Having an outline might help complete the project more quickly. I would also use this program several times to really get the hang of how to implement it best. I have mixed some slides into my Google Slides presentations which have helped me utilize it more frequently. I also recommend using the site for students as it allows you to slowly walk them through making a presentation without overwhelming them with tons of editing features and toolkits. I would also recommend using this program when you have time to play around with it yourself first to see how to best use it. I would not give it to students ot use without having done it myself first! I will continue to keep my login for this and see how much more often I use it as the year goes on. I recommend keeping features of slides that you like and work well for you and copying them into the program for certain features. It may help save you time and allow you to still keep elements that you like in your slide. There were a couple youtube videos on using the site that could be helpful as well. **What problems is SlideLab solving and how is that benefiting you?** The first time I used this program, it took a while to load the program. I had to log out and log back in a few times. But, after a few times, I was able to see the program and use it effectively. I also find that it can be monotonous to use and doesn't quite synch as well to my Google Classroom and platforms as google slides do or Slidedeck. This is a more challenging program to use if you lack skills to create a slide or presentation that has all the parts you need. I have tried to go to profile settings to change settings but the site was not allowing it to load for me. I also did not receive a welcome email with any instructions or directions, however, the site did let me log right in. Other problems that might occur would be integrating other programs for your slides especially in a school wehre there are differnet settings preventing students from sharing on various platforms. I am also not sure the ease of duplicating a presentation for future use which would save you a lot of time. I also did not find a community within the site that allowed for frequently asked questions or tips for using their site and its features. ### 6. They seem pretty on top of these problems but it happens more in this program than it does to the most popular slideshow platforms. Once these are fixed, it works smoothly. There are so many benefits to this program - one specifically is generating the size of the project and the individual slides. ### 7. They take the time to understand the customer's problem/goal in order to deliver the most adequate end product. Although I understand this is labor-intensive and requires qualified and experienced talent, as well as many hours, the pricing make it accessible only to a few or to major projects, like public presentations for large audiences. **Recommendations to others considering SlideLab:** If you want a presentation that will make you look professional and impress your audience, SlideLAb can make it happen.
