I don't think it was really clear to me how to use the smart links which didn't help me track the analytics I wanted to. For example, last year, I could use the link for our online donation form as a smart link, but this year I couldn't. And I wasn't always automatically prompted to turn a link into a smart link. So, there was really no way to separate data from last year to this year or by each campaign. I enjoyed onboarding by phone last year more than onboarding by chat.

**What do you like best about SlickText?**

Ease of sending and scheduling texts. That you can reach masses without having to create and recreate lists when individuals are added.  Being able to copy former texts instead of recreating the wheel every time.

**What do you dislike about SlickText?**

That when texts cannot go out due to limitations on available characters you do not receive an immediate notice. 
Individuals must subscribe in order to receive texts.  While it limits use of spamming which is great, for organizations such as ours, it is important for all members to receive information, but with these restrictions, some do not due to being technologically challenged. We do not have the resources to assist every member with subscribing and some would prefer if we could do it on their behalf. 
That members responding also takes up available text characters.

Sharing important information and reminders for our membership.

We do offer Extended-Length Messaging. This enables you to have more characters to use in your messaging. Any text beyond 160 characters will cost additional messages per subscriber. **What do you like best about SlickText?**

I love that slick text provides plenty of marketing materials such as QR code creators, printable flyers, contests, polls and more! It makes it easy to engage customers and quickly get sign ups during events and festivals. I have several store fronts so I post the QR codes in cute signs to increase sign ups.

**What do you dislike about SlickText?**

The only thing that I dislike is that I would need to do an upgrade to use it with my shopify store. So I'm still using another app to send texts for store orders.

Slick text allows me to quickly inform customers about new arrivals, discounts and events via text even while on the go. We also operate a mobile boutique so being able to send messages from a cell phone or ipad is important for our business. Our previous SMS services was desktop only.

You can upload contacts manually, or you can create a Keyword associated with the list. I love that we can automate our last minute staffing requests.

I wish it was easily integratable with monday.com, it would be nice to have it sync the agent info from monday.com into the slicktext contacts. However, its not the end of the world, we do it manually and it works!

**What problems is SlickText solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can now staff in any of our operational areas in 5 minutes or less which allows me to take last minute jobs that come in from clients that either had security that bailed or need security because of an immediate issue. Also, to answer the next question below, we do not use this product for sms marketing, it did not have an option that aligned with how we use slicktext.

Shortcode + Keyword tools – The ability to create custom keywords (like "RVDEAL250") is great for brand recall and easy opt-ins.

Automated workflows – You can schedule follow-ups, segment audiences, and even drip campaigns without needing complex tech setups.

Compliance support – They help keep your messaging compliant with SMS laws (which is a huge deal) so you don’t accidentally get in trouble.
