## About ShipFlow
ShipFlow is an open‑source product operations platform designed to help teams move from rough ideas to shipped releases without resorting to sprint backlogs or velocity charts. Built around Basecamp’s Shape Up methodology, it combines appetite‑driven cycles, hill charts and betting tables with modern management tools. Users can visualise work on Kanban‑style boards, track time and meetings, manage QA (test cases and bug reports), and monitor risk and health with configurable analytics. Recent updates add roadmap and release planning, allowing initiatives, epics and releases to be planned on a unified timeline and tied directly to cycles, along with a “Wise Architecture” preview that will provide AI‑assisted advice based on team skills, design files and code. Multi‑project support, role‑based permissions, Slack/GitHub integrations and a commitment to extensibility make ShipFlow a flexible choice for product teams who want to align strategy and execution without adopting Scrum.

**What do you like best about ShipFlow?**

ShipFlow makes it easy to run Shape Up–style cycles end-to-end: pitching → shaping → building → cool-down, with a clean kanban flow and clear ownership. It’s fast, lightweight, and keeps the team focused on outcomes instead of busywork.

**What do you dislike about ShipFlow?**

Some areas still feel early-stage: reporting/analytics could be deeper, and a few UX details (filters, bulk actions, keyboard shortcuts) could be smoother. I’d also like more integrations (GitHub/Jira/Slack) and more customizable workflows.

**What problems is ShipFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ShipFlow replaces the chaos of managing delivery across docs, chat threads, and generic sprint boards. It helps me run Shape Up-style cycles with a clear pitch → build → cool-down workflow, so decisions and progress live in one place. The benefit is stronger execution discipline, better communication, and a smoother path from roadmap to release.
