Not Forthcoming Regarding Court Fees **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Andrea N. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025 **What do you like best about Shield Screening?** - Portal was very easy to use and implement - Fast turnaround - Able to remind individuals about the background checks **What do you dislike about Shield Screening?** While they mention the prices do not include court access fees, the sales representative was not honest about the amount (e.g. ranging up to $100), or the frequency of the court fees. When there was universal court access fee on the package, he did not disclose it knowing it would be out of our budget. User beware. **What problems is Shield Screening solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have sent a customer service feedback letter and have not received a response. I have limited hopes though. If they actually seek to do something, I will come back and updat ethis. ### 2. The site is fairly user friendly. We utilize this service for both background checks and drug testing and have been happy with the service overall. **What do you dislike about Shield Screening?** Some of the interface can be a little clunky, and some of the way it's designed isn't super user friendly. Also, when asking for a full export of our data for one of our locations that was closing and we wanted it for records, it's taken a very long time to receive. It seems they don't have a batch download system or server to easily pull a large amount of data at once. It seems it's manual for their team. **Recommendations to others considering Shield Screening:** I would ensure that you get the proper package set up upon launch, customized to your needs. You don't want to end up having too many options or not enough when your managers/team goes to order the background check and/or drug testing that they offer. **What problems is Shield Screening solving and how is that benefiting you?** We support a large amount of hourly employees working in the transportation and logistics industry. Having one provider that can run BOTH background checks AND allow us to order drug tests has been great. It keeps us from having to manage two different sites/data sets. ### 4.
