I like that ServiceNow IT Asset Management effectively manages all my virtual and physical devices as configuration items. The predefined group assignment feature is very helpful when an issue occurs, allowing for efficient task allocation. I also appreciate the ability to allocate tasks groupwise so that multiple teams can collaborate on a single issue. If an issue requires the involvement of two teams, ServiceNow allows me to create separate tasks for each team. What do you dislike about ServiceNow IT Asset Management? It's working fine in my current organization, but I need a feature like suppressing alerts for historical events to prevent false incidents during activities. If an alert is suppressed during the activity, then there should be no incident reported for the selected configuration item. I use ServiceNow IT Asset Management to track our hardware and software through their lifecycle. It helps our team manage laptop assignments, monitor server health, and ensure we aren't overspending on software licenses we don't use. I really like the automated lifecycle triggers that the system provides. If your current CMDB or legacy spreadsheets are not good, the tool doesn't fix that for you automatically.
