# Which FSM platforms hold up under heavy enterprise workloads without becoming slow or unreliable at scale?

For the bigger end of the field service management market, the thing I care about is durability: which platforms stay fast and reliable once the workload gets genuinely heavy? Going off what enterprise and mid-market reviewers report, here are a few built for that kind of volume:

ServiceNow Field Service Management: Enterprise reviewers describe running the full job lifecycle at volume on one data model, with a scheduling engine that reoptimizes around no-shows and emergencies and a blended workforce of employees and contractors.

Agentforce Field Service (formerly Salesforce Field Service): Reviewers coordinating thousands of visits across many locations credit its scheduling and Salesforce foundation, while noting the mobile app can feel slow at times.

IFS Cloud: Reviewers in asset-heavy industries like manufacturing and energy point to a composable platform that unifies finance, operations, and field service with real-time dashboards.

ServiceMax: Asset-centric reviewers use it for complex machines and equipment on the Salesforce platform, though some flag that sync can lag and needs a manual push.

For anyone running field service at real scale, which of these actually stayed fast and reliable as your job and user counts grew, and where did you hit performance limits?

ServiceNow, Agentforce, IFS, ServiceMax, all hold up at volume but they all have a thing. ServiceNow's solid end to end. Agentforce mobile can drag. IFS is great if you're asset-heavy. ServiceMax sync occasionally needs a nudge. Pick your tradeoff.
