Risk Team is using SEON when reviewing accounts to stop bonus abuse, affiliate fraud, reducing chargeback risk, etc. Easy to use system with a lot of features (like custom list's) to prevent fraud during the registration process. What I like best about SEON is its real-time fraud scoring and transparency. The rules engine is intuitive yet powerful, allowing us to tweak logic without needing dev resources. While SEON provides great transparency in its scoring, the rule management interface can become cluttered as the number of rules grows. Can't say anything bad about the product, significant improvements were made over the last few years and all of the previous issues were well worked on.

Recent forced change of contract terms from pay-as-you-go format to a long term fixed volume yearly commit is a significant downside given that it doesn't synergize well with seasonal business models, however it's important to note that this downside is unrelated to the product itself. I appreciate SEON. Fraud Fighters for providing a wealth of customer data that significantly assists in our credit scoring and fraud prevention setups. The raw response in JSON format allows us to extract device fingerprinting, IP, email, and phone details to identify fraudsters effectively. The speed and responsiveness of SEON's support whenever we have questions or encounter issues is exceptional, making the experience seamless. The capability to score clients based on different criteria, such as device data for Mac vs. Windows users, and identifying outliers, adds a valuable layer to our analysis. I find the platform incredibly convenient for our analysts to create rules, and comparing it to other services like Iovation, SEON proves to be a better fit for our needs. The platform's ease of integration, supported by a capable SEON team, further enhances its usability as a straightforward tool complemented by a convenient user interface. I find challenges with SEON. Fraud Fighters when using it on our web-based products, as sometimes client information is hidden, leading to incomplete data retrieval. Additionally, some of the services they rely on to gather data occasionally break down, resulting in semi-full data. For instance, when a phone number is registered with Google and SEON cannot scrape the data, it returns null, which affects our models that use this information. The automation feature is great. Its usage is simple just go to profile and run it. Generally, creating automation or even filters is very easy and even child can build them. API is easy to implementation/integrate on platform and with one request receive every info. One task is fully depend on seon, so we are using them on 24/7. The interface is intuitive, so even if you’re new to it, getting started doesn’t feel overwhelming. It does a solid job detecting fraud in real time, which lets us respond quickly when something looks off. I also find the real-time monitoring super helpful—it gives us a chance to catch and fix problems early. The manual lookup tool is another great feature; being able to check and flag specific emails, IPs, or phone numbers gives us a lot more control. There is a couple features that by the maturity of the product we haven't start using, but is more like an internal blocker.

Even that we have been in contact with their team and their help has been great we could be looking to do this for Q3 this year.

The possibility to verify the features of a phone number/email address to verify if it they may belong to potential fraudsters and the possibility to add information to blacklists or other clustered lists in order to organize clients according to specific criteria defined in line with the evolution of types of frauds, geographical areas, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I find most helpful about SEON is how quickly and accurately it spots suspicious activity. The system is easy to use, and we can adjust the rules ourselves, so it fits our needs. Thanks to SEON, we catch more fraud without spending so much time on manual checks. We use SEON for customer risk assessment during initial KYC. Sometimes SEON feels a bit complicated at first, and it takes a while to figure everything out. I also wish some options were easier to adjust without needing technical knowledge. We were able to automate 80% of our syndicated marketing approvals, leaving only 20% for manual review. We recently saw a huge overnight surge of fraudulent signups from a coordinated fraud group. SEON blocked the vast majority of the bad actors as automatically and the ones who did sneak through, we were quickly able to block by using various tools to draw commonalities with the rest of the accounts involved in this event.
