What do you like best about Seemore Data?

What do you dislike about Seemore Data?

Seemore Data has its limitations particularly in the area of data governance integration with our current tools. This means we are still required to switch between the various platforms in order to effectively manage our data therefore not fully integrating the workflow. What problems is Seemore Data solving and how is that benefiting you?

Seemore Data has been instrumental in un-jangling the complex web of the data pipes that connect our various systems. The column level lineage maps offer a single source of truth for where the data came from and where it went, but again, the inability to feed into existing data governance tools is less than ideal. "Data Catalog Automation"

What do you like best about Seemore Data?

The data catalog help moving our manual documentation to the next level with automation and smart scoring system that really helped focus on the most important assets.

As a data product manager, we spend a lot of time for manually creating, sharing and storing S2T (source-to-target) docs

with the dev team, and also the analytics team for future reference.

Aggua save us a lot of precious time with automating this process, so we can easliy create and maintain the S2T and data catalog. Also, since all this data availabe on Aggua, analytics team can then use the catalog to learn and understand what business logic stand behind each column. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seemore Data?

I really like the Lineage feature, it really helps us understand how each table it built and review the process each column goes. However, I feel like sometimes the UI isn't so intuitive and it makes the usage of the Lineage quite difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Seemore Data?

With little to no effort we were able to create lineage for a data report which combines tables from both GCP BigQuery and AWS Redshift.

What do you dislike about Seemore Data?

The team would say "yes, we can do it" to any edge case request. And they delivered on everything! But if you're sceptical about hearing "yes" all the time (most of us are), then this might be a challenging team to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Seemore Data solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have two data platforms on two different tech stacks. Each with it's own documentation, or data catalogue. Working on anything across the organisation (a report, data governance, metric, audit, etc) is very time consuming and requires involving SMEs from both parts of the organisation. What do you like best about Seemore Data?

When we first got a "legacy" of undocumented processes, Aggua made it easy for me to understand the flows and pipelines, and better visualize the bottlenecks once stakeholders complained that the reporting layer is not correct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Aggua initially focused on data lineage and observability. When we first began to look into old processes that my team didn't build, it helped us understand the flows and the relations between tasks, jobs, and eventually to focus on the business layer, and the impact of failures during the pipeline on the layer.
