Clearskies: The context layer for revenue AI Clearskies is Scratchpad's context layer for revenue teams using AI. It connects your CRM, call transcripts, email, calendar, and Slack into a single Customer Context Graph — so when your team asks Claude, ChatGPT, or any AI about a deal, an account, or the pipeline, the answer is built from every source, not just one. Sales leaders use Clearskies to: - Get pre-call briefs that pull from every system — not just the CRM - Detect pipeline risk across all channels, not just stalled CRM stages - Run win-loss analysis from actual calls and emails, not disposition codes - Surface coaching moments from every rep call with timestamps - Keep the CRM updated automatically after every interaction - Qualify deals against MEDDPICC or custom criteria using real signals Clearskies works with Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Slack, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365. It connects to Claude via MCP and works with ChatGPT and any LLM. Usage-based pricing with no per-seat fees. Two products. One team. One belief: Revenue teams are sitting on enormous amounts of signal across their tools. Scratchpad removes the admin work so sellers can sell. Clearskies makes that signal available to AI so every answer, every brief, and every pipeline review reflects what's actually happening — not what someone remembered to log. ## Scratchpad Reviews
 ### 1. Fantastic tool for quick and easy pipeline management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

If nothing else, Scratchpad is a huge time saver. The interface is quick and clean, and I can log activity, create tasks, and update my pipeline from a single screen. No more wasted time waiting between clicks to drill into each account to make an update.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I would really like to see more integrations, specifically with Outlook. I think Scratchpad currently syncs with Gmail and Google Calendar only.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By not having to drill into each account natively to make updates, Scratchpad makes managing and updating my pipeline simple and quick. The less time I spend doing admin work, the more time I have for actually building my funnel

 ### 2. The perfect "Home Base" for salespeople

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeshua A. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

Scratchpad has been my home base for any and all of my day-to-day outbound activities. I love that scratchpad connects with salesforce and my google calendar so I know exactly how many tasks I need to get done at any given time. This helps with time-blocking and scheduling out my week. I also love the pipeline view, and the ability to link notes directly to contacts/leads/accounts in salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I really don't have anything to complain about. If I had to pick something, I'd say, it does take a little while to get used to having scratchpad open on every new tab. But, you get used to it and it doesn't get in the way.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After starting a new job, I had to find a better workflow for my cold outreach and follow-ups, scratchpad has enabled me to be more efficient and consistent with this.

 ### 3. Scratchpad saves me so much time and helps keep me organized!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana C. | Mid-Market, Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I absolutely love using Scratchpad in my daily workflow! It has helped to save me a ton of time that I would typically waste in Salesforce. I highly recommend Scratchpad to Sales and CS Teams who want to save time logging notes, updating accounts, and tracking key KPIs. Scratchpad provides transparency on where customers/accounts are in their customer journey, made account handoffs a lot easier between CSMs, and most importantly saved me time!

Huge thanks to the Scratchpad Team! Can't live without it now!

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I like everything so far! One small ask would be to have the chrome tab default to the title of note you are working on especially if you have several accounts up at once it would be nice to know what Scratchpad tab is what.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing many customer accounts can be difficult to keep track of customer stages, notes, last touch point, etc. Scratchpad helps bring this information to the top and provide a high level overview of my accounts. This helps me to prioritize my day, campaigns, outreach, etc.

 ### 4. Replaced SF Pipeline Reports

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I love how easy it is to pull up my team's pipelines and have them update it with me in real time. I'm able to create reports of all different sorts and give them to my reps right in our 1 on 1's. The reporting has given my team fantastic insights to their pipeline and they are really appreciative of the support I've been able to provide.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I would love to be able to turn the scratchpad reports into salesforce reports. This would allow me to automatically upload these lists into salesloft and have automated campaigns reach out to these lists. Would save time recreating these reports in salesforce.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slow clunky salesforce reporting. Easier access for my team to update their pipelines and fill our their weekly 1 on 1 documents so they actually have stuff to report to me.

 ### 5. Take the pain out of updating Salesforce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priya C. | Fraud Strategy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

The ability to save/create contacts and opportunities directly from Google Calendar, and clean pipeline dashboards views

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Honestly, I have not been able to find anything wrong with Scratchpad after 6 months of daily use.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scratchpad makes it easy for me to keep my team and manager up to date on my deals instead of me having to go through Salesforce updates, which can be painful

 ### 6. Easily to manage hundred of opps without opening SFDC :)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

How quick and responsive it is compared to SFDC.
You get a very good overview of all your apps, and you can update them on the go.

Super valuable if you have many opps to manage !

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Basically nothing! It loads very quickly and never let you down.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Save time and give more clarity about the opps.

 ### 7. Transformed my relationship with Salesforce for the good!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

Scratchpad has made updating data and reporting in SFDC a pleasure! Being in sales, using SFDC can be time-consuming and painful, with Scratchpad I can update and create pipeline/forecast reports with ease.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Occasionally it is annoying that when grouping results (ie for forecasting into commit, best case) defaults to 5 results per group vs all data in a group. You then have to manually expand the group, it would be useful to be able to store a preference.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to update forecast status rapidly, next steps, close dates etc. Compared to doing thesxe actions in SFDC, Scratchpad makes it a breeze.

 ### 8. Simplifies salesforce lists/pipeline

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

Simplification of creating lists for call blocks

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Not applicable. The ease of use is superior

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

List building, pipeline visibility

 ### 9. Simple and effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

The salesforce integration consolidates all of your data and enables you to manage your pipeline in half the time.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I think the spreadsheet style overview of the active pipe in your view is slightly outdated (Might be that I haven't set this up properly)

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It immediately brings together all of my opportunities and enables me to add notes and find the information very quickly.

 ### 10. Real-time Salesforce access with 'real' in-line editing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

The ability to quickly update opportunities without logging in to Salesforce and opening an opportunity.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

There are occasional restrictions to the ability to edit, mainly driven by rules set in Salesforce.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed to insights. I can review the pipeline with my team more quickly, and each user can update their pipeline in real-time using in-line editing.

 ### 11. Scratchpad is a game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris L. | Sale Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

Scratchpad puts all of the relevant data that I need at my fingertips. I used to have to search through several tabs in SFDC to get the relevant information for my team. This would take me 10-15 minutes every time. Now can see all of that information within seconds with Scratchpad.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

There is nothing I dislike, but there are a few feature requests:
- I need a report that matches my fiscal month instead of the calendar month.
- I would love scratchpad to create some graphical reports showing our pipeline build.
- I would love to be able to submit my forecast through scratchpad.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scratchpad saves me an enormous amount of time. I can see and edit information in seconds versus minutes. I also like the flexibility in seeing the information. I can quickly drag and drop columns.

 ### 12. I love that it streamlines my workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I like that everything is in one place, and I can color code.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I wish that I could create links and attach items. I do not like that I have to create equations to get the info. I want. My brain does not work that way.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solved my problem with having to go to several different places in Salesforce to document

 ### 13. Essential for any regular Salesforce user

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luke D. | Senior Enterprise Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

For me, Scratchpad is just so much better for managing pipeline updates and if you use SFDC every day this app will save you hours of your time a week.
It's clean, simple and easy to use and, in most cases, actually has better functionality compared to using SFDC directly.
Probably most importantly - the updates from Scratchpad appear in SFDC instantly!

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Not much, you can also integrate your Google calendar and mail which is great - although I wasn't able to see my emails when I set up.
Adding a weekly/monthly view to the calendar view would be great.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely makes my use of SFDC faster and more efficient - especially around updating a lot of opportunities and quickly searching for information.
I have easily saved hours of my work week using scratchpad to manage SFDC

**Official Response from Nicole Tan:**

> Hey Luke! Dropping by to say thanks for leaving your review of Scratchpad. Were you able to get your emails working after integrating your google account? Efficiency is so crucial when you're working multiple opps, and we want to make sure you have the most seamless experience possible. I love that you've saved so much time by not having to work directly in SFDC. Let's see if we can free up even more of your schedule! Someone will be checking in soon. 🤩

 ### 14. Best tool for note taking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

Scratchpad is convenient and allows me to be present in the conversation without worrying about how neat my handwritten note is when I review the call. Combine that with the fact that my notes can automatically sync with salesforce, or be shared with colleagues for review and you have a perfect solution for sharing notes from conversations.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Nothing - Everything in scratchpad is what I need from a tool like this.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handwritten notes are old-school and often incomplete/illegible. Additionally, sharing handwritten notes takes time to transfer into word document/email form. This is a convenient and engaging solution.

 ### 15. Scratchpad = the only sales tool I use religiously

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I love the ability to create custom views / reports and then easily in line edit opp notes, set next step dates.
I create a custom note for all my opportunities with call notes - can easily link this directly back to the opp as well.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Nothing - it is the only tool I could never survive as an AE without.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scratchpad helps me stay on top of my pipeline to follow up with prospects on time, everytime. Additionally, it's the fastest way to update your pipeline into SFDC so your managers never bother you again :)

 ### 16. BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO MY WORK FLOW

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maude M. | Sr. Account Executive | Uber for Business, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

The layout and the ability to customize it to what works best for you! I love that I was able to become more organized and eliminate steps that would take away from my focus!

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

My ARR that I would calculate on SF would not show up on m OPP, but that may be due to not adding the filter, but not sure.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization, Pipeline creation and clean up, allows me not to forget about deals that I am working on. Able to take meeting notes and call notes all in one place.

 ### 17. Great platform for teams to stay organized and efficient.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah M. | Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

The Scratchpad team has been helpful and genuinely care about streamlining team's processes. The platform itself helps teams stay efficient and log/track activity in a more organized way. The organization has been crucial to success.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Integrations with Glean is not yet supported.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inputing notes for accounts/leads at high volume so that our teams can report on later.

 ### 18. Scratchpad Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabe S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

the work flow is the most helpful for me as I am working to prospect but also manage my pipeline

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Sometimes I find myself still needing salesforce for a few things and find myself going back to using SF instead of scratchpad

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use and the ability to have what I need all in one place

 ### 19. Making Pipeline Management Easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I'm a massive fan of Scratchpad because of its integration with Salesforce. It makes my workflow so much easier. I also like using it for notes; I save my templates and can save them directly to Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Sometimes pipeline management in Scratchpad can be a little scattered, but this might be because I have only used it for a few months."Tasks" also seem to have delayed alerts.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scratchpad makes it easy to have everything in one place. As mentioned previously, the notes tab is helpful, especially because it allows me to save templates.

 ### 20. Makes updating SFDC almost enjoyable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

It's easy to use, flexible, and updates SFDC in real time. I don't have to pop open individual accounts, opportunities, or contacts to update them.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

The only thing that could make it better is if it actually wrote the updates for me.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scratchpad is making updating SFDC a million times easier. I'm also using it to quickly prioritize my territory and add notes. The ease of using scratchpad makes what is usually tedious kind of fun. I'm thankful to not be working out of google sheets anymore, which can become outdated quickly.

 ### 21. Scratched away double work with Scratchpad

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

Scratchpad unlocks higher performance for sales teams by making pipeline management and forecasting simple. Loved by Managers, Sales Leaders, and Reps.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Actually the backgrounds could be better :) just kidding

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me personally it fastens the process to add notes or other important information quickly to SFDC

 ### 22. Scratchpad was a great help for our AMs to do customized templates for updating Salesforce.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

Ability to customize and create own templates easy for multi-edit and reports for our sales teams with a structured distribution to all users.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Not sure. We stopped using it as we moved to a multi-edit feature within Salesforce.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multi-edit and updates of opportunities

 ### 23. Life-changing solution.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

Scratchpad is all about the data and reducing the number of clicks to make our life easier—the best tool for anyone using Salesforce out there. Really useful and time-saving.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I actually don't have any complaints about the platform overall and never had any issues. This could only get better if Salesforce itself was exactly like this!

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce is a place for data, but it's slow to load pages and requires too many clicks for all tasks. Scratchpad makes every task much simpler with a simple and friendly UX.

 ### 24. Where has Scratchpad been my whole life?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron B. | Enterprise Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I love the depth and capability of Scratchpad.. I'm continuing to find more functions that I can leverage to stay active within a single screen. The sync to SFDC is huge since you can create note templates to build a consistent process. Also tasks. I'm a big fan of written lists but being able to tie that to my Google calendar but also accounts in SFDC has kept improving my efficiency. They Customer Success team are true advocates too! Extremely helpful and make themselves available to share best practices.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

There were a number of unknowns for me as a new user. Without their email drip of tips or CS team, I may not have been able to get the most out of the tool. So much to uncover.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of having to keep several tabs over to keep up on my daily workflow I can focus on building out the day in one place. Everything stays in front of me, doesn't get lost in the shuffle, and the need to update SFDC is less of a strain.

 ### 25. Makes managing your pipeline a breeze!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oscar S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

The ability to see you whole pipeline and move things in an out of stages without having to have 30 windows open

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

nothing the functionality is great especially when having 1:1's with my manager.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to see my whole pipeline from one place and be able to make adjustments

 ### 26. Great Experience All Around

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mackenzie C. | Revenue Operations, Customer Ops Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

First have to give major kudos to the team and our CSM, Rickman. The initital handover process was really smooth. Rickman continues to be a great resource for questions and additional trainings. The 1-1s for team members are helpful for engagement too.

The tool itself is a gamechanger. It's very easy to use and implement. We are continually finding new ways to use Scratchpad and increase the amount of time our sales and CS reps spend in Scratchpad. It fills a gap -- no one likes updating things in Salesforce, it's clunky, it's not easy to find all required fields, reps want spreadsheet like views -- and Scatchpad corrects for all of that and more. Inline editing is great. Views/tiles help drive rep behavior and ensures that all relevant info gets to Salesforce and is updated as needed.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Nothing I dislike. The team is highly responsive and helpful. They make changes based on product feedback.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster, easier updating of Salesforce fields
Easy opportunity creation or updates based on required/suggested fields
Ease of pipeline management for ICs and for review with managers
Note taking/template functionality
Grouping & highlighting different records
Bulk updates
Automated slacks about deals

 ### 27. Saves so much time!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haley P. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I never want to go back to the old way! Salesforce updating used to be the most significant pain point of my work, and now I'm always up to date with everything I need for my accounts and opportunities. No more navigating through clunky pages to find the right field among many; now, all I have to do is command J to get to anything I need to update instantly. They have good support to help when you get stuck on something.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

There is somewhat of a learning curve. I ended up copying all the workflows from a colleague. I don't use any additional highlighting, reporting or tile features. I use this product for the most basic intended purpose.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem: Salesforce takes forever to load; it's got a lot of fields that aren't always needed; I would forget to log into SFDC and log info there etc.

Solution: I went from taking an hour/day to update data to about 10-15 minutes/day.

 ### 28. Looking for useful sales tools ScratchPad in a no-brainer for seller

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | Sales Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

1) it easily integrates w/ SFDC and allows you to access all the data you need
2) It's the first thing you see when you open your Chrome browser with tabs for Pipeline, Accounts, Notes, Tasks, etc.
3) Instead of going from account to account or opp to opp to update fields for tracking and forecasting purposes (which can be a mundane time suck) you can do it in one place.
4) Easy filtering allows you to get to the data views that matter to you.
5) You can easily links call notes to SFDC

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I can't say anything I dislike; there might be a few more features that could be added, like integrating with Gong or Zoom to connect call recordings, but otherwise ScratchPad has been a great value add for my day-to-day.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A massive time saver in an easy-to-use interface, and I'm sure I've only "scratched" the surface of its capability.

**Official Response from Nicole Tan:**

> Hi David, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us feedback! I love hearing that you're taking advantage of the customization within Scratchpad to only raise information pertinent to you. Filtering out extraneous noise totally creates efficiency when you're interacting with data every day. That said, I totally hear you on wanting different integrations. ### 29. I consider Scratchpad to be revolutionary in terms of how I use and work with Salesforce.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon P. | Strategic Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

My favourite aspect is the customisation of fields and filters on the Lead and Opportunity views AND how quick this is versus trying to get the same info in salesforce directly.
Another nifty feature I find myself using more and more as I settle in at the new role + new tooling is the Ctrl+J search feature! Even JUST the search results can be helpful without having to leave whatever browser tab I happen to be in.

Oh and ANOTHER great feature is the notes and tasks bit - if/when I have time to set this up better, I think I'll be able to work entirely in Scratchpad!

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

One thing I have found to be a bother (until fields and stuff have been configured as needed), was that if there were dependency fields (eg. You can't change this field without fields A, B and C being completed first), I'd have to manually go and look for these fields. Also, the pop-up telling me which fields disappears rather quickly.

How about "forcing"/focusing on those fields directly? Would be happy to recreate this in a demo example, if needed.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's plain and straightforward efficiency right at my fingertips. And it's quick. So that's time saving as follows:
- Not having to break off what I am doing to jump into Salesforce (which is slow in and of itself),
- being able to input and change data MUCH faster than slow old SFDC,
- Having that quick search function, meaning not ANOTHER tab to search in SFDC

**Official Response from Nicole Tan:**

> Hey Simon, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us such a comprehensive review! I am blown away by all the ways you've been able to customize Scratchpad to fit into your workflow, and I would absolutely LOVE to dig into your suggestions for future updates. Be on the lookout for a message in your email. Let's get your pipeline supercharged!

 ### 30. AWESOME tool for Salesforce users!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan S. | Senior Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

The ability to keep any field updated from one interface, in real-time is amazing. I really like the simplicity - I can finally keep my "to do list" front and center and attach each and every "to do" to an opportunity, account, or contact. This is a great product. Wish I had thought of creating it!

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I have found no real downsides. I've been using it pretty heavily for the last month or so and have already shared it with my entire sales team and colleagues.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scratchpad is solving the problem of how much time it takes to keep SFDC really updated - even custom fields. Now I can keep not only my management happy with the updates, but I can ditch my excel spreadsheet of "to dos" and actually track everything in SFDC through Scratchpad, including having specific notes that I can easily reference at any point on any item (oppty, contact, account).

**Official Response from Nicole Tan:**

> Hey Bryan, thanks for your beautiful review! Did you know simplicity is one of our core values? I'm so glad it resonated with you enough to share with your team and colleagues. If you ever dream up a feature that could make life even simpler for you, let us know. We're waiting with bated breath!

 ### 31. My favorite way to manage my pipeline & keep all my opportunities up to date

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adara P. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I am a huge fan of the kanban view and the fact that I can customize the kanban tiles as well as the detail-view tiles. It's so helpful to see my pipeline by stage and even though SFDC has a kanban view, I strongly prefer the clean and simple aesthetic of Scratchpad and the fact that I can see it with every new tab while customizing it completely. Scratchpad makes the entire experience so much more enjoyable. I love how quickly I can review and stay on top of every opportunity.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

No downsides. Since we have a custom implementation of Salesforce, a lot of our custom flows don't work out of the box in Scratchpad but the team was willing to work with us to make these flows functional through the UI as well, which I really appreciated!

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing my pipeline and being able to segment and sort my opportunities and also keep them up to date in time for all the pipeline reviews. Before Scratchpad, I was not able to keep everything up to date in SFDC. It also helps me get a visual sense of where my pipeline needs building.

**Official Response from Nicole Tan:**

> Hey Adara, I love hearing how you use our kanban views in your workflow. I'm very much a visual processor and your review is so validating. 🥹 Also thanks for your kind words about our team! Every org's SFDC instance is unique and it's always mindblowing how they're able to make it work for individual workflows. If you ever want more tips and tricks, don't be afraid to drop some time on their calendar again!

 ### 32. ScratchPad Powers your SDRS!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph L. | Manager, Enterprise Sales Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

It allows for quick use and input of Salesforce without the clunkiness that can sometimes come with working in a large CRM. Makes reporting and adding notes easy.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I would say the challenge is paying for a solution to help optimize another large investment to perform better. If only SFDC could do this but they can't so it makes a tool like ScratchPad extremely important.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Optimize time management for SDRs and clearly understand and analyze their book + ease of input in SFDC from anywhere.

 ### 33. Great Single interface to make changes in SFDC

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I like having a single interface that allows me to make changes to many fields and accounts within SFDC. Matching up with my existing SFDC reports is great. Onboarding/training was outstanding as well.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Having to have multiple separate tabs for different report criteria is a minor inconvenience.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scratchpad allows me to accomplish in one screen things that would have required opening each opportunity/account in SFDC. It also allows me to have a group meeting and make changes for multiple Account Reps at the same time.

 ### 34. Intuitive and helpful tool to streamline the sales process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie K. | SDR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

It's super user-friendly and intuitive - I learned it in about 2 minutes. It makes it super easy to update your forecast for Salesforce and I found it helpful to have it around my screen when updating, especially if I was only using my laptop. The customer service is impeccable - they are so willing to meet with you and help you iterate on how you're utilizing it. They really have your best interest at heart.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Some features require the upgraded subscription, which I totally understand. The only downside is that my org didn't decide to buy them! Really no negatives to report.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier to use and navigate than SF, in real time updates, basically takes the place of my importating lists/reports into excel and updating notes manually. I love the in-real time flows!

 ### 35. Modernized workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian R. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I really like how clean the UI is. I have multiple Kanban and Grid boards open that helps me quickly get a feel for how many deals I have in certain stages, the deal age (how many are progressing in tune with average deal cycles), my current pipeline volume and what the next steps for the deals are.

The best thing is it is very fast to use, and updates to SalesForce automatically. It is basically embedded into a chrome tab, so there is no loading time.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Hard to dislike it since everything is pretty straightforward. What you see is what you get. If the question was more 'What would make you even happier' then I'd say a task board where I could see (without needing to enter Google Calendar) what I have planned for the day and check them off right within Scratchpad. Right now it syncs to Google Calendar, which is helpful, but since I already live within Scratchpad when interacting with SF objects, it would be even better if I could also track tasks within the interface. Also, make the product more sticky 😉

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1 - Reduce the time spent doing Admin work
2 - Provides me a clean high-level overview of the health of my pipeline in clean format
3 - Better pipeline visibility. Nothing gets swept under the rug.

 ### 36. Simple and easy to use tool to manage my meeting notes and Pipeline updates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I like the ease and speed of the tool. Creating meeting notes and synching with SFDC is very fast and easy. I never encounter bugs or lags.
I love the daily image on my home page
I love how it synchs real quick with SFDC client info, I prefer using it to update my forecast than going to Salesforce! Much faster!

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

For my specific use, it honestly checks all the boxes, there is nothing i dislike about scratchpad

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One place to keep track of my client meeting notes
I don't need to synch with saleforce manually
I don't need to go to Salesforce to update my forecast , i can do it directly from scratchpad and it updates directly there

 ### 37. Scratchpad!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam W. | Sales Dev Rep, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

- In-line editing - the ability to quickly update opportunities, last activity notes, and contact info in one seamless window.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

- Nothing top of mind - it has become more intuitive as more colleagues have also used it

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Forecasting & pipeline opportunity management

 ### 38. Scratchpad lets me focus on the important stuff- selling!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

It makes it super easy to do the most frustrating part of my job- updating Salesforce. Whether it's quickly updating close dates, confidence, whatever. I can do in a minute what usually takes 20. Awesome tool!

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Honestly, nothing really. It's a really great tool. There are some things you can't do in it, but those are usually really in-depth reports I'd rather do natively in Salesforce anyways.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wasted time on Salesforce updating
Keeping my manager happy with updated opps
Easier filtering/reporting

 ### 39. I Love Scratchpad

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angus M. | Business Development Representative, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I use Scratchpad primarily for my task workflow. Any tasks to add accounts to cadences in Salesloft, any tasks pertaining to open opportunities. Scratchpad is a major time saver and organizational juggernaut. I'm abundantly more efficient now using Scratchpad.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I have not adopted the platform enough nor has my organization adopted it at a team level.

If there was something I felt was missing, it's no doubt an offering at a higher package level or when your CRM is integrated more effectively. The package I'm currently on suits me perfectly and I love it!

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to bulk organize and schedule my tasks.
The ability to take effective notes and integrate them back into Salesforce. If you have software that transcribes calls this may be less useful.
The ability to in-line edit the pipeline and keep it organized, and faster.

 ### 40. Takes the hassle out of data entry!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I love how easy it makes entering sales data into Salesforce. Before Scratchpad I felt we were spending so much time navigating, entering, and reentering info into Salesforce. Very user-friendly and the design makes it feel less like a CRM!

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I don't dislike anything about Scratchpad currently.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's cutting the amount of time we spent entering data info Salesforce in half. It allows us to spend more time focusing on cultivating relationships instead of doing office work.

 ### 41. feedback scratchpad

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arijana D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

super easy to use, connected to salesforce, super insights like scheduled next meeting, send documents, etc. it is a great help not to forget anything in the sales cycle process

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Nothing. There is nothing to say I dislike it.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- keeping an overview over all deals this in a fast and easy way
- better and accurate planning of the Forecast
- In can update faster all my products
- I hope my business performance will improve

 ### 42. Excellent tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

The integration with salesforce. It makes updating my notes so much easier having everything in one location

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I don't see any! All the features make it super easy to use

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Going through Salesforce, identifying opportunities and then updating notes

 ### 43. Scratchpad makes my team way more productive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael F. | Head of International Sales and Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I've used Salesforce with my teams in a variety of different companies over the course of the last ten years, and the feedback is always the same; Salesforce is necessary, but it's a huge hassle to update pipeline in the day-to-day. User experience has always been lacking and the software is so heavy and slow that's always slowed down team productibity. This is the first time I've worked with a sales and BDR team that I haven't needed to consider CRM updates as a main portion of the teams time allocation. Scratchpad makes it incredibly easy, simple and user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I would like to be able to create pipeline list views to visualize fields from different objects in Salesforce, in the same list view in Scratchpad. That isn't possible right now.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management. Efficiency. Productivity. Knowing that my team can focus the majority of their time on revenue-generating activity (strategies and tactics for closing more deals), is a huge relief and it also keeps my team motivated and engaged, knowing they're not spending countless hours on updating their pipeline.

 ### 44. Easiest way to keep trach of your Pipeline!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitchell B. | Commercial Account Executive I, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

The best thing about Scatchpad is the ability to customize the pipeline tabs and tasks. I am able to have customized reports that showcase a targeted view of my choosing. Saving me time from having to go more clicks in salesforce to accomplish my needs. Also being able to update next steps, descriptions and commit to forcast without having to hit save after each one is very nice. Saving me even more time.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I think the least helpful thing about Sratchpad is the calendar. I would like to be able to hook up my outlook calendar to it, so I can properly log face to face events. I would also see a lot of benefits to having a mobile version of Scratchpad as I use Microsoft To-Do a lot on the go, and having the Scratchpad capabilities in mobile version would make my time a lot easier.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scratchpad is solving the problem of having to many clicks to update salesforce. There is more times than not that I have to click multiple times to create a next step, log a call, or update the descriptions of an opportunity.

**Official Response from Nicole Tan:**

> Hey Mitchell! Thank you so much for your kind words. We love hearing how different users customize their experience based on their needs. Efficiency is not one size fits all!

You're not the only person who has requested Outlook integration. 😭 I'll make sure the team knows there's another vote in that camp. What else would you love to see in a mobile app? I'll make sure we reach out soon!

 ### 45. Game Changing Time Machine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David L. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

The company I work for went from an old, outdated CRM to Salesforce. All of the information, contacts, contracts, opportunities, billing, etc were pulled from the old system and dumped into Salesforce with little thought. We have had to update nearly 19,000 accounts using data from several excel spreadsheets, in addition to our regular job descriptions. We planned on having it done 12 months from now. With Scratchpad, we should be able to cut that to 2-3 months. What used to take 4 hours, I can get done in 10 minutes.

The Ctrl-J feature allows you to update records, take notes, create opportunities from ANY webpage in the browser, not just SF or Scratchpad.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

Once you understand that all of the fields come directly from SF, it is very easy to go in and create lists, etc. It took me a minute to get that. I do wish there was a way that we could import .csv files into Scratchpad that would then flow to SF. That would be a gamechanger!

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scratchpad allows me/my company a solution to update over 19,000 records for a single source of truth in the company customer database. While it has not made a direct impact on business revenue, it has given us more time for prospecting.

**Official Response from Nicole Tan:**

> Oh. My. Goodness. David, I do not envy your team having to update all of that data! I'm so glad that Scratchpad is able to make the entire migration a little more tolerable. I'd love to know how else we could make life easier for you-- including importing .csv files. We'll be checking in soon!

Thanks for taking a break (from your laborious updates) to leave us a review! It means so much to our team.

 ### 46. I like updating my pipeline now

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine H. | Account Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

You know i'm an organized person and I can't stand having a pipeline that's out of date. But the long load times and general slowness of Salesforce makes it hard. Scratchpad changed everything for me. It makes it so easy to search our database and find and update information. It's a clean interface, customizable without being overly clunky or complicated.

The scratchpad command feature is amazing too. If you hit CMD + J it automatically opens a search bar in any tab that you're on (kind of like the Mac universal search when you hit CMD + Space).

Also the scratchpad team seems really motivated to help their customers and improve. Overall cool platform! Don't think I can live without it now. Trying to get my team onto a plan now :)

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

I wish I could pay for it monthly while I build support internally to get a team license.

Also a few feature requests like being able to hit the back button on a search so I don't have to search a query over and over again when I'm checking multiple records.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's saving me time in updating my salesforce records and conducting searches to find records. Now I can focus on more important stuff like calls with customers, follow up etc

**Official Response from Nicole Tan:**

> Katherine, your review is making my heart sing. The team is so hyped to hear you're able to spend more time on revenue-generating activity instead of waiting forever for SFDC to load. 🥳 Data hygiene and organization are totally magic words over here.

I've made sure we logged your wishes as well. I know I've dreamed for a back button before too! 😂 Thanks for all of your feedback and support. We totally couldn't do it without you.

 ### 47. Scratchpad Saved My Life.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan H. | Client Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

The amount of time that Scratchpad saves me is mindblowing day after day. Pipeline organization is a struggle for all sales professionals, and Scratchpad is the fix.
Any company using Salesforce should be using Scratchpad as well. It is SO customizable and they have a faster workaround for any obstacles you run into on SalesForce.
Their team is excellent and super helpful.

I highly recommend all companies give it a shot!

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

There are a few kinks that still need to be ironed out to streamline the full functionality of Scratchpad. They are so minor though and still much much easier than what it would look like in Salesforce.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me a minimum of an hour daily on admin activities I would normally do in Salesforce. It is such an easy tool to get taught by their incredible team and then use to streamline all aspects of your sales.

**Official Response from Nicole Tan:**

> Hey Nathan! Thanks for taking the time to drop us a quick review. It sounds like you've been able to take advantage of our 1:1 workflow sessions with our team, and I'm so glad to hear they were able to customize it for you. Have you shared with them some of the kinks you wished were fixed? We always have open ears for future product updates because we want YOU to be the happiest salesperson you can be. 🤗 I'll make sure we drop a line soon. Until then, keep it up!

 ### 48. Quicker, easier, better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie M. | ACCOUNT MANAGER, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

Customizable dashboards that allow you to build the exact view that you are looking for. Quick keys for creating opps, tasks, notes. Ease of use is off the charts.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

There really aren't any downsides that I have experienced thus far. The only criticism I would have is that it would be good to "pre-sort" the fields that you can select for dashboards. It would be nice to eliminate some that are never used from the search drop down.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed is the number one benefit. It is quick and easy to find the account you are looking for, and update the notes and next steps accordingly. It makes on the fly sales easier.

 ### 49. Scratchpad saves me from how unbearably slow Salesforce can be.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I love that Scratchpad is an instant change, and I can update my pipeline in about 1/3 of the time it would take in Salesforce. Instead of having 10,000 tabs open, I can just have one Scratchpad tab open. I can also make filters that allow me to see what specific fields need to be completed within each opportunity, so I'm not wasting time searching for a needle in a haystack, and my ops aren't sent back to me by finance/legal. Updating my pipeline has become much less of a chore.

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

The interface is the only thing I'm not a huge fan of in Scratchpad. It's a bit grey. But I will gladly trade colors for speed anyday.

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scratchpad helps me quickly update pipeline and quickly create relevant tasks so that nothing slips through the cracks. I'm happy, my manager is happy and most importantly, my clients are happy.

 ### 50. Fantastic tool for team collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha B. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Scratchpad?**

I love scratchpad! It is very easy to use and filter for reports that are useful to you. I use this to collaborate with other customer-facing teams and discuss our joint accounts. We are able to efficiently share notes and discuss a plan of action. I use this tool everyday

**What do you dislike about Scratchpad?**

There is nothing I dislike about scratchpad. I think there is much more I could do with the tool but I have made it work perfectly for me!

**What problems is Scratchpad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love the ability to inline edit and load up different reports in seconds. Accessing/editing SFDC reports is too time consuming so scratchpad saves me time and increases efficiency with team collaboration.
