Helpful software for pet care **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Jenne S. | E, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2023 **What do you like best about Scout for Pets?** I like that I can add photos for clients and that there's a checklist of things to do for each visit, and an asterisk to denote what is required each time. Leaving notes for clients is easy too and they can check the route we took for walks via gps. **What do you dislike about Scout for Pets?** It's a little clunky as far as doing pet sitting that are overnights vs walks and drop-ins. I have to check in daily for pet sitting which I sometimes forget since I'm not coming and going, so having a reminder/notification to check in would be great. There's also no way to check how much I'm getting paid for each service or the tip. I sometimes get a notification that they left a tip but no way to look at this information on the app. **What problems is Scout for Pets solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes communication about pets easy between myself as an independent contractor, the client/ pet owner, and the pet care company owner. All pet info is housed in the pets profile, maps for the clients address is readily available, and house alarm or key codes can be easily shared. ### 2. It gives me comfort knowing exactly where they're going and how much fun my pup is having! As well as the photos you can upload and view right there. It really helps ease my mind seeing how much fun and good care my dog is in. **What do you dislike about Scout for Pets?** The log-in process on the actual website seems a bit difficult. There is no way to log into your account on the web. Also I find that booking multiple appts at once can get a bit glitchy. **What problems is Scout for Pets solving and how is that benefiting you?** You know exactly how long your dog was out for a walk, where your dog walked due to the fabulous GPS, what your dog did and even a cute photo of your dog. It is the no-worry dog service. Plus the walkers are all experienced and take wonderful care of and love the dogs.
