  ### 1. Unreliable Payments and Poor Support Make Gingr a Frustrating Choice

**What do you like best about Gingr?**

Nothing comes to mind in this moment when I have no idea when my funds will drop.

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

I worked with Gingr for 3 years, 2 locations several years ago. Started my business with Gingr. We then left to try another company and after 2 years, decided to go back to Gingr, not bc the new company was bad, they were light years more advanced than Gingr in capabilities, but they were also 3 times more expensive. I wish I had researched the changes Gingr has made since we had last been with them, bc had I know they were acquired by PE, I would not have made the switch bc I know what happens when PE steps in. That said, their payment processor, Gingr Payments, is shady at best. It was always inconvenient, as they use 2 day payout, when Stripe offers same and next day. If that wasn’t bad enough, along with an overly inflated processor fee, they’ve made a recent change 2 days weeks ago. What is the change? Nobody knows, not even at Gingr. However, it’s causing the batches to be processed literally at random. We have no idea when a batch will close. None. The parent company, Together Work, they built the payment dashboard. They say it’s all about Stripe, but I got the right Stripe rep on the phone and he explained how every single aspect of Gingr Payments Processing is on Gingr. Every decision. If you ask them what’s going on, they deflect to Stripe, bc they know they have a closed system and you can’t speak to Stripe directly about your Gingr Payments account. You ALSO can’t speak to Gingr internal merchant services, they’re not available to customers. So as a customer, your money will be completely hijacked by the cabal on the back end and when you ask when oh when will I see the money that my customers intended for me?? They have no answers. The rest of the platform is very buggy, try sending any normal pixel sized picture. Seems they programmed the photo size in messages with a 2005 phone camera capacity. We have to take screen shots of a photo, so it will go through. But the money, that’s the big problem. Leaving your customers in the dark about when they will be paid, that’s a step too far. Oh and any bank holiday, Gingr will not batch the day before or the actual holidays holiday. So tomorrow is veteran’s day and Gingr didn’t batch FRIDAY’s transactions yet bc TOMORROW is a holiday. So we won’t have funds released from Friday through Wednesday. It’s literal insanity. You know you can batch the day BEFORE a holiday and just let the bank process it when they re open right? Of course you do, but there is a reason you hold onto funds for an oddly long period of time. It’s a nightmare to switch apps when you have thousands of customer’s but we’re starting the process this week. Oh and when we came back, they gave us 3 useless months for free but started the clock at sign up, but couldn’t do the data transfer for nearly 2 months, so the free months, we got none of them bc the platform wasn’t usable for about 3 months after sign up. Coincidence? I think not. Stay away from this platform.

**What do you like best about Gingr?**

Their support is US based, knowledgeable, honest, and quick to respond. I have dealt with many software companies at my various businesses and Gingr is a solid choice for managing our Dog Daycare, Boarding and Grooming facility.

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

The software is highly customizable, which can make things difficult to configure because there are so many options.

They are helping provide seamless communication with our staff and our clients.

**What do you like best about Gingr?**

Inferior customer service.   Software looked good on line

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

DO NOT PAY FOR THIS SOFTWARE!   We purchased the program in mid-November, understanding that we would begin using it before the Christmas rush.  Gingr did not respond to our calls and rarely to emails.  They set an appointment for a phone meeting via text and did not follow through.  Even though we have their text setting the appointment, they argued that it was our fault!   Now, after 70 days, we are unable to use the software, paying for it, and cannot obtain customer service.  Recently they scheduled a meeting and, during that meeting, advised us that an additional six to eight weeks was necessary before we can use the software.  Terrible, horrible customer service!  We sent an email canceling the software and requested a full refund.  As usual, they did not respond.

NONE!   We cannot use the software after a couple of months.

**What do you like best about Gingr?**

I like the customization services provided by Gingr, We have an option here to add on services as per our needs like - training, kennel, dog daycare, and all.

I like online booking, Quickbooks export, Appointment & Lodging calenders option available, Report cards for Pet Parents, Digital agreements, and appointments reminders.

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

I don't like the pricing option available in Gingr, because the prices are a little higher here as compared to other competitors - Like [ $ 80/Mo pet spa] [ $116/mo day service] and [ $130/mo for pet resort]

**What problems is Gingr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gingr solved my bigger problem of pet services, Kennel, and saved me lots of time-related to dogs care.  Services are good, and they also provide 24/7 support, so I am pleased about the benefits and all. 

Benefits like - One plan can help you a lot like they will remind you your appointment bookings, provide report cards for parents, proper careing of your pets.

**What do you like best about Gingr?**

One of the best places for pet care and services - I like their 24/7 services and call support which is too good, their response is very quick and always ready to provide support on calls.
They provide facilities like - dog daycare, boarding kennels, private dogs parks, and grooming salons.

I also Like the customization part of the website as well.

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

The prices are little high as compared to others like - here we need to pay [ $80/Mo - pet spa] , [ $116/mo - day service ] , [ $130/mo - pet resort ] . 
Also, sometimes apps are also crashing.

**What problems is Gingr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Service is very nice and support is 24/7, so pretty good for me because I found a best and reliable place for a kennel for my lovely dog.

**What do you like best about Gingr?**

Gingr is a time-saving tool/software which makes running my business very well and easier. 

I like the features like - appointment settler, online booking, Report card of pets, QuickBooks export facility, Digital agreements, Immunization reminders, and the most important is Cloud-based software support.

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

No android based apps for mobile, and we need to login to the system for operations,

**What problems is Gingr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves time lots and is very useful for pet lovers; for me, I love Gingr because of his customization services as well. 

Gingr provide 24/7 very nice support service, product@gingrapp.com; recently, I had a query, and I emailed them - I then received a reply with proper resolution within 5 hours.

**What do you like best about Gingr?**

Gingr is easy to use. I use it weekly to book daycare for my dog, and it takes me less than 2 minutes to get through the booking process. I would recommend it!!

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

The only thing I dislike about the application is that sometimes I have to submit the page twice. The first submission might say there is an "error" on the page when there is not. But it only takes a second to resubmit it.

**What problems is Gingr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to book my dog's daycare in a quick and effective way! Sometimes these things take too long, but with Gingr, the process is quick and straight forward.

I have not come across any issues yet. It appears the Gingr team does well in updating the website

The most difficult thing was trying to find a good and reliable kennel for my dog.

I like that access to the customers information is available. I like the different options to view things. I also like the simple menu.

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

I dislike that you cannot search for clients other than by name. The facility calender is difficult to use and to fix if mistakes are on it. It is not customized to our buisness in the best way.

Take a look around before fully using it.

It is supposed to help with checking customers in and out. The easiest part is refunding customers if needed.

**What do you like best about Gingr?**

Gingr is one of the best programs for kenneling/doggy daycare I’ve used. The UI is so smooth and easy to navigate. There are also a lot of features, such as pupdates and incident reports, that are beneficial to communication with the customers as well. I love Gingr!

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

The only downside of using gingr would be when the website is down, which is very rare.

Gingr makes scheduling appointments for customers incredibly easy, as well as finding and inputting information about pets and customers

Gingr moves very fast and is friendly to first time users. There is no lag; we get to have our customers in and out. 

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

Gingr does crash sometimes however; we can get it fixed quickly! Some of our reports do not easily translate into excel.

**Recommendations to others considering Gingr:**

Things will be faster and organization will be easier.

Everything is way more organized so we are able to find our guests info so much faster. A new benefit that we are excited about is how we get

**What do you like best about Gingr?**

Gingr's features are compartmentalized so that our dog daycare could use what was most valuable to us without having to navigate around extraneous buttons. The check-in and check-out functionality is clean and easy to use, and makes package tracking a breeze. 

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

Setting up Gingr can be time consuming and seems to involve quite a few phone calls with their team. 

**Recommendations to others considering Gingr:**

If you're willing to spend a few phone calls getting Gingr set up, the value it brings to a dog daycamp and boarding facility is very much worth it! 

**What problems is Gingr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our daycare was able to move from tracking boardings and feeding instructions on whiteboards, to interfacing with Gingr on a monitor in the camproom. The ease of use freed up our handlers to focus on their most important task: keeping the dogs safe and happy!

It's quick, easy, and modern. It's very visually appealing and straightforward to work with

While it is easy to use, there is quite a bit of glitches with it that I run into more than a few times daily

**What do you like best about Gingr?**

The overall functionality is great. It is easy to use and train new staff on as well. It is cloud based. And the best part is that new pet owners can enroll themselves in our system from home, and schedule their own boarding and daycare reservations from home!

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

Their accounting aspect of the systems needs a lot of attention. 

**Recommendations to others considering Gingr:**

Gingr has made all of our procedures and systems so much easier to organize and execute. It is cloud based, so I can log in at anytime and check on the progress of the day and where the staff is at in completing tasks. It also has an internal time card feature, which is very helpful. 

**What problems is Gingr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization among add-on services with pets is easy. Scheduling boarding and daycare reservations is also very fluid and easy.

**What do you like best about Gingr?**

We are super pleased with Gingr. Not only do they offer a great product that is easy to use and super flexible to customize for your facility's use, but the people behind the software is what makes Gingr great! They listen to feedback, offer hands-on help and include new features at their customer's request. Who could ask for more?

**What do you dislike about Gingr?**

Not much. It is fairly new, so some features are in the sandbox, not quite ready for release. We can be patient though as the software is really great already, especially the new pricing rule engine.

**What problems is Gingr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gingr solves the problems of keeping track of multiple pets, particular owners and a team of staff - all moving parts in a complex business model. Great reservation software that is flexible and robust is hard to find. But we have found it with Gingr.
