What do you like best about ScalaHosting?

While their managed VPS is incredibly fast, the best aspect of Scala Hosting is the support. We had very specific requirements for our VPS, and it feels like they are on my own team, helping to find solutions and make all necessary adjustments. This level of dedication from the support team is rare and valuable.

As for managed VPS hosting, Spanel is very easy to use and straightforward for every function you may need to manage your VPS. It offers many features, and if you lack any, you can contact support for help. If you have a good reason for it, they will most likely fulfill your request (as we did for an additional remote backup). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScalaHosting?

There are no real downsides or negative points; however, there are areas for improvement regarding billing, at least for payments made via PayPal (as is the case for us). Only select locations can purchase 12 or 36-month plans. For our location (Amsterdam), only monthly payments are available, resulting in an invoice each month that we must pay manually. Although you can top up your account for several months, it is not set up as an automatic (preauthorized) payment. I believe this could be enhanced. However, considering the pricing and flexible configurations, this aspect is more about convenience than an issue, as you will receive email reminders to ensure you do not miss the payments.
